"Alright Blainers, we need to talk." Santana greeted as Blaine picked up the phone.
"Um who is this?" Blaine asked looking at his clock to see that it was three am.
"It's Santana; I took Kurt's phone after he fell asleep and decided I needed to make a phone call." She explained and Blaine laughed at her absurdity.
"San, it's three in the morning." Blaine replied.
"Like I said, I had to wait for Kurt to fall asleep and he wouldn't stop crying." She explained.
"Oh no is he still upset about the incident today, the doctors said the baby was okay." Blaine said worried.
"Yeah the baby is fine, but he's not. Look there's a lot about Porcelain that others don't know. And one of them is he likes to keep a lot of things to himself. He thinks he can protect others, but he never worries about himself. Did you know he wasn't going to tell you about the baby just so you wouldn't feel like you had to give up everything to make things work? He was going to raise your son all by himself because he didn't want you to feel bad. He cares far too much about others and not about himself. Which is why we have a rule that he has to tell me everything. And this is going to be a lot to take in but the doctor said he's not going to be okay." Santana explained.
"What do you mean he's not going to be okay?" Blaine asked confused. "And he honestly wasn't going to tell me just so I could finish my normal high school year?"
"Uh yeah Blaine, he loves you. He wants to protect you, which is why he didn't tell you some of the stuff the doctor told you. He was going to tell you tomorrow but I told him not to." Santana told Blaine.
"Why would you tell him not to?" Blaine asked confused.
"Because the doctor told him he can't stress out, and I didn't want Kurt to feel anxious so I told him I'd take care of it." She explained.
"Okay so what all did the doctor say?" Blaine asked glancing at the clock and knowing he wasn't going to be able to sleep tonight.
"Look, our little Kurt has been through a lot in his life. And some of it may affect his ability to carry this baby to term. Kurt's battle eating disorders, he's overdosed on pills, he's been through things that would break any sane person. But he's pushed all this aside. Hell the only reason he's healthy now was when his dad had a heart attack junior year he knew he had to put his shit aside and take care of him. He thought it was all behind him, but things like these leave scars, not just visible ones. You see typically if a girl has an eating disorder early in life, she can't have children later in life because it prevents menstruation. But Kurt doesn't menstruate, because he's a guy. So the doctor doesn't know what this means, he just knows it means danger for Kurt. Kurt's really just worried about the baby, but he could die Blaine. He seems not to care about the effects on himself but its dangerous, Blaine. It's really really scary. And Kurt needs to calm down, he's just this big ball of stress and that with all the pregnancy hormones are literally destroying him. Carrying this baby is doing physical harm to him. Even the doctor advised him to have an abortion, Blaine, things are serious. But Kurt's not going to just kill off his baby, he's stronger than that, I know he is. So just keep him calm, don't let him stress, and he'll be fine. All he can do is wait. Remember in Twilight the baby was killing the ugly girl from inside? If Kurt continues to freak out and be his overly paranoid self-things won't go well. Do you understand?" Santana explained.
"Oh my god, is he okay?" Blaine asked tears streaming down his face. "Why didn't he just tell me?" Blaine asked.
"Because he didn't want to upset you, like I said he thinks he can protect everyone. Just like his parents will never know he had to go to the hospital tonight. He's going to have this baby and everything's going to work out. Just no more stress okay?" Santana asked.
"No more stress, I got it." Blaine replied.
"I mean it. No stress." Santana warned.
"Okay, I got it. Can I go back to sleep?" Blaine asked and Santana laughed.
"Goodnight Blaine, I love you, and thank you for staying with Kurt." Santana smiled.
"I love you too San, of course I'm staying with him. I love him." Blaine replied.
"He loves you too." Santana smiled hanging up the phone and creeping back into Kurt's room to get some rest.
It was true, Kurt loved Blaine, and Blaine loved Kurt. And no matter what they'd make things work. Kurt would have the most relaxing easiest pregnancy and Blaine would support and love him. They'd have their beautiful baby boy in six months and they'd be a family. Blaine would graduate from McKinley and move in with Kurt. They'd get jobs and raise their son. Sure funds would run low, but they'd always make it. Because they had each other.
