Author's Notes: Like I said, kind of a filler. But very necessary for what happens next.Finn just being Finn, lost in his strange strange mind.Hope you like it!Okay so the tittle, I tried to be witty. Don't question it. No this isn't some roleplay kink about Kurt and Blaine being cops. Although that'd be a good idea, hehehe handcuffs...Okay I'm done talking.

Once Burt, Carole, and Finn arrived home Carole and Burt went upstairs and Finn collapsed in front of the television on the sofa.

Today had been a long day.

Correction it had been a long two days.

Actually no correction it had been a long week.

He was worn out. He couldn’t even begin to imagine how Kurt must of felt.

He was exhausted just from the past week, how could Kurt have felt having to deal with that constantly for years.

If he was Kurt he would have rather killed himself than have had to dealt with that.

Oh wait, bad expression given the circumstance.

He knew Kurt was depressed, and now he knew why.

This whole ordeal is tiring and stressful and he wouldn’t wish it on his worst enemy.

Then again right now his worst enemy was Karofsky and he had would have way worse coming to him.

The test results from the incident, as they had taken to calling it, weren’t back yet. Something about the assailant not being in their records.

Finn and Blaine were going to have to make statements explaining everything they knew about the situation and the information would be used to help put Karofsky away.

Kurt would have to also make a statement when he woke up.

God, the fact that he would have to relive the incident by telling it again made things awful.

How could one forget something like that?

Finn couldn’t imagine would being in Kurt’s shoes. Didn’t want to imagine. He just wished that none of it would have happened.

He went to check his cell phone, which he had completely ignored for the two days they spent in the waiting room of the hospital.

Oh that’s right; his phone was still at school.

Would it be at school?

The entire school had been surveyed for evidence, when they drove by on their way home Finn even noticed the caution tape.

Was this what it felt like to be on CSI or one of those other crime shows with the letters?

Probably, he imagined.

He bet his phone was sitting in some evidence locker somewhere.

He began talking to himself and imagining he was some secret investigator surveying the scene in the choir room, collecting evidence, tracing finger prints, all that cool stuff. Maybe he could be as cool as the guy on the Miami one who was on the boat with the sunglasses.

That’d be cool he thought as his mind began to wander until he fell asleep.

The next morning Finn woke up and nearly fell off the sofa where he had forgotten he fell asleep last night.

He turned to the television which was still on.

A crime show was playing, how ironic.

Wait, this wasn’t you’re average detective show.

This was the local news.

And they were talking about Kurt, and his school.

Oh God now everyone would know.

He froze as the newscaster said things like “rape” and “attempted homicide” and “hate crime”

Okay, if Finn wasn’t allowed to tell a silly little waitress about Kurt being in the hospital how would his family react when they saw this on the local news?

“Mom! Burt!” Finn yelled up the stairs. “Turn on the news! Now!”

“What is it Finn?” Burt asked.

“They’re taking about Kurt on the news!” Finn yelled.

Burt and Carole rushed downstairs and stood horrified behind Finn as they watched the screen.

Gruesome images of Kurt after the attack and the bloody choir room were being showed, a hotline was being offered in case anyone knew anything to call forward.

No one would call, no one cared.

“School, oughta be fun.” Finn teased.

Finn left the house with Burt; he had to get a ride because he left his car at school.

When he got there he unlocked his car to get a few books out.

“Oh, there’s my phone.” Finn mumbled to himself.

“Inbox full. Delete messages.” Flashed across the screen.

He had 62 new text messages, 30 missed calls, and 10 new voicemails.

All asking the same thing.

What happened to Kurt?

Finn didn’t have the time, or want, to answer them right now.

He grabbed his things and headed inside.

Yeah today would be a long day, filled with questions.

Questions he wasn’t sure if he could answer.

End Notes: TBC. I'll upload another chapter later. Hope you're liking so far :)
