"Are Finn and Rachel here?" Kurt asked after a few minutes of just holding his boyfriend. That's right, his boyfriend. 
"Yeah, do you want me to send them in now?" Blaine asked kissing Kurt's forehead as he stood and walked to the door. 
"Yes please." Kurt smiled as Rachel burst through the door, Finn in tow.

"Bro! Your okay!" Finn announced running over and hugging him tightly. 
"I'm so happy you're okay." Rachel cried hugging him too. 
"Me too." Kurt smiled lightly. 
"What the hell happened to you dude?" Finn asked not yet letting go of Kurt. 
"Fucking moronic Karofsky." Kurt growled. 
"What'd he do?!" Finn demanded. 
"He...he just...uh..slushied me. He slushied me and I slipped and fell...that's...all." Kurt said contemplatively. It wasn't lying. That was what happened. Some information just needed to be omitted.
But wait did omitting this information from Blaine make him a cheater? Oh god he was a cheater wasn't he? 
He should have done more to stop it. He cheated. 
And now he was lying to Blaine. 
He felt sick. 
"You okay babe?" Blaine asked noticing Kurt go pale. 
"Uh yeah...peachy." Kurt forced a smile. 
"Mmkay." Blaine shrugged leaning forward to kiss Kurt. "I'm glad you’re okay, love." He smiled and Kurt felt like he was going to die. 
How could he cheat on Blaine? How could he lie to Blaine? How could he lie about cheating on Blaine? 
He felt dizzy this was all too much. 
"Kurt? You okay dude?" Finn asked as Kurt's eyes fluttered shut and monitors went off around the room. 
Nurses rushed in and the trio was pushed out. 

"What happened?" Rachel asked a doctor running towards Kurt's room as she clutched onto Finn. 
He must not have heard her as he rushed past. 
"I'm so confused. What the hell happened in there? He seemed fine a minute ago and then he started spacing and then his monitors went off." Blaine said pacing the lobby yet again.
"I have no clue." Finn said burying his face in his hands. 
"It was like he completely checked out after you asked him about what happened." Rachel wondered out loud. 
"You don't think something more happened do you?" Finn asked. 
"I don't know. I just don't know." Rachel cried. 
"I just need him to be okay." Blaine said tears pouring down his face.

"Hey kids. Visiting hours are over now, so I'm going to have to ask you to leave." The nurse from earlier reported back to them sadly.
"What? But I haven't heard anything about my brother yet?" Finn replied bitterly. 
It had been over three hours since they were ushered out of Kurt's room and doctors were still running in out, but no one had stopped to tell them what was going on.
"Yeah, no one reported back to us or anything, we have no clue what's going on with him." Rachel exclaimed. 
Finn and Rachel began arguing with the floor nurse and no one noticed Blaine slipping away down the hall towards Kurt's room.

"Side effect of the trauma."
"Swelling of the brain."
"Too much blood."
"Unresponsive."

Blaine stood in the doorway listening to Kurt's surgeon record Kurt's information before he moved to enter the room.
There was so much blood, and nearly seven doctors working on Kurt at once. 
"You can't be in here!" A doctor yelled at Blaine but he didn't care. 
He rushed over to Kurt's side where doctors where prodding Kurt's head. Kurt was awake but not responding to doctors tests. 
"Kurt! Kurt can you hear me? It's Blaine!" He yelled ignoring the doctor trying to get him to leave.
"KURT!" He cried.
"Young man, you cannot be in here. You need to leave or I'll have to call security." The doctor spoke calmly, ignoring the doctors behind him moved quickly washing the blood from Kurt's soft face. 
Blaine looked into Kurt's glassy eyes. He was unresponsive. It was like he was looking at Blaine, but not seeing him. 
How couldn’t Kurt see him?
The doctor put a hand on Blaine's shoulder and Blaine was about to turn and leave but a soft noise stopped him. 
"B-Blaine?" Kurt said a dry whisper.
'Kurt!" Blaine cried pushing his was closer to Kurt. "You're alive." Blaine smiled dumbfounded. 
"I-I love y-you." Kurt stuttered and Blaine cried harder. 
"I love you too. Don't give up on me." Blaine pleaded. 
"I'll never say goodbye to you."
