“Oh my god. It’s been too long since I’ve been here. This coffee is amazing.” Kurt practically moaned as he took a sip of his coffee licking his lips in delight.
Blaine, try as he might, could not help but be a little turned on by the sight in front of him. Oh how he wished he’d be the one making Kurt moan. The seductive way Kurt unintentionally licked his lips. Damn, just damn. Fuck you coffee.
“Yeah their coffee’s the best.” Blaine nodded and sipped his own drink.
“Mmmm.” Kurt said closing his eyes in bliss.
Blaine continued staring at Kurt, watching his every move. The way he smiled, the way he laughed, the way he raised his eyebrows in question to whatever Rachel was blabbering on about, the way he breathed. Okay cool it, you’re getting borderline creepy here.
His thoughts were interrupted when Rachel began to talk again.
“You have to try this muffin, it’s delish!” Rachel said shoving a muffin in Kurt’s face.
“Okay, calm down. I will.” Kurt laughed.
Being ever dramatic Rachel made a showy gesture of feeding Kurt a piece of the muffin and Kurt winked and ate it very seductively. Is it even possible to eat a muffin seductively? Muffins aren’t the most sensual of foods. But Kurt’s mouth, oh God his mouth.
“Hot.” Blaine couldn’t help but say as he stared at Kurt.
“Huh?” Kurt looked up confused.
“Umm..my coffee…it’s…uh..hot?” Blaine said awkwardly.
“Oh, yeah. I think that’s kind of the point.” Kurt giggled.
Smooth Blaine, real smooth.
“Ugghhh I have to be at work soon.” Kurt frowned.
“No probs, we can head out now.” Rachel said grabbing her coffee and standing.
“I have work later tonight too. Are you guys staying with me again? Cause you have my spare key if you plan on coming back.” Kurt explained to Rachel.
“I’m not sure what’s going on at home but if it’s anything like yesterday we may be back.” Rachel sighed getting into the car.
“It’s no trouble. For real, it’s the least I could do after all you always do for me.” Kurt smiled opening the door for Blaine.
“I’ll still text you before letting you know what the plan is. I have stuff I need to get ready for the first day of school still. But if they’re going to be jerks to Blaine I may just drop him off.” Rachel sighed as she drove.
“Like I said it’s no problem. He can come over whenever he needs to. You’re like family Rach, and so is he. I don’t mind.” Kurt smiled. “Although since you made fun of my bread you can bring me real dinner.” Kurt teased.
“That bread is gross Kurt.” Rachel laughed.
“The struggle is real.” Kurt chuckled as they pulled into the parking lot of the mall. “Thanks for breakfast and the ride. I’ll either see you tonight or if not tomorrow. Bye.” Kurt smiled kissing Rachel on the cheek and waving bye to Blaine.
“Are you all ready for school tomorrow?” Rachel asked as they pulled into their driveway.
“Yeah, pretty much. All my summer work and transcript papers are ready, but I’m still a little nervous. At least I’ll be going in with two great friends.” Blaine smiled getting out of the car.
“I’m glad you and Kurt are getting along. He should be good for you. In a way you guys have a lot in common, he could help you.” Rachel smiled.
“Yeah I’m glad you introduced us, he’s so nice.” Blaine smiled fondly.
“And he’s pretty hot too. Am I right?” Rachel said elbowing Blaine as they walked up to the house.
“Yesssss. He’s really really really hot.” Blaine said excitedly.
“Hehehe.” Rachel chuckled.
“Rachel where have you been we were worried sick!” Their mom screamed as Rachel opened the door.
“Worried sick yet you didn’t even bother to call? I was at a friend’s house mom. We got breakfast and now we’re back.” Rachel sighed irritated.
“Rachel you should know by now that you need to let us know where you are going, you can’t just sneak off like that and stay out all night.” She exclaimed.
“It’s fine mom. We were safer there than we are here anyway.” Rachel rolled her eyes.
“What is that supposed to mean young lady?” Their dad asked stepping out of the kitchen.
“Rachel.please.stop.talking.” Blaine pleaded, knowing the outcome of her words.
“It means the way you treat Blaine is awful. You can’t do this to him. He’s your son, my brother. He’s family. You can’t do this to your family.” Rachel said tears rolling down her cheeks.
“He is no son of mine.” He replied coldly.
“How can you even say that? So what he likes cock? Big deal!” Rachel exclaimed.
“Rachel! Language!” Their mother scolded.
“Oh come on mom. After all the nasty things you call Blaine you’re going to yell at me for that? Really?” Rachel laughed.
“Rachel. Please stop. You’re just going to make things worse.” Blaine whispered.
“I will not stop Blaine. They need to know that how they treat you is wrong and I will not stand for it.” Rachel said crossing her arms and stomping her foot.
“And I will not stand for you acting like a child. You can’t pout to get your way anymore Rachel. We have made up our decision about Blaine just as he has made up his decision to be gay.” He countered.
“I didn’t choose to be gay.” Blaine said softly.
“What was that? Are you talking back to me?” He yelled getting in Blaine’s face.
“N-no sir.” Blaine said frightened.
“You better not be.” He said shoving Blaine against the wall. “I will not have some fag come into my house and talk back to me.” He huffed.
“It’s Blaine’s house too!” Rachel yelled.
“It was, but that was before he chose this. He chose to ruin our family. He brought this on himself.” He yelled before turning to walk downstairs dragging his wife along with him.
“Come on Blainey, don’t listen to them. Let’s go get you packed up and I’ll take you back over to Kurt’s.” Rachel said pulling Blaine into a hug.
“I’m sorry Rachel” Blaine cried softly.
“Hey, look at me. Don’t be sorry. It’s not your fault. You’re perfect and I love you. It’s them, they’ll come to their senses one day. Until then you still have me and Cooper, and now Kurt.” Rachel explained and Blaine cheered up a little at the mention of Kurt.
“Thank you Rachel.”
“Remember Blaine. Prejudice is just ignorance.” Rachel said patting Blaine on the shoulder. “You’ll get through this. All you need is some courage.”
