While Blaine and Kurt were enjoying time alone everyone else made their way to the cafeteria.

After everyone grabbed lunch and sat down, Kim began to speak, “Well Blaine seems really nice, I’m glad Kurt has someone like that in his life.” Kim smiled.

“Yeah Blaine’s a really great guy.” David said happily.

“And he’s hot.” Bethany added.

“He was okay.” Holden shrugged.

“Okay?!? Are you fucking blind? He was like some Greek god!!!!!” Bethany yelled to which David and Wes just laughed.

“He was very very very attractive.” Kim smiled.

“And he was just so nice and loveable! They are so adorable! Why didn’t he bring Blaine in last Saturday? Hiding him from us.” Bethany laughed.

Holden just shrugged.

“Oh speaking of Blaine, he just texted me.” Wes said pulling out his phone. “Question, he wants to know when the last time you guys saw Kurt eat?” Wes said confused.

Everyone stopped talking and began to think.

“I don’t think I ever have.” Kim said honestly.

“I’ve noticed him pick at his food but he never really eats it.” Bethany added sadly.

“I can’t believe I didn’t pick up on this. He said he was getting better. The progress he’s made with the cutting, I guess we all just overlooked his eating disorder. This isn’t good.” Holden said quietly.

“Shit.” Wes mumbled. “Do you know like a doctor in charge that we could mention that to before we leave?”

“Either Doctor Andrews or Doctor Jessica. Doctor Andrews handles all the medical stuff so he’d be able to do something about that. Or Doctor Jessica is the therapist.” Kim suggested.

“Or you know what. Doctor Sandra would probably be better. She’s Kurt’s personal therapist. She’ll be here later this afternoon. We can tell her for you if you want.” Bethany suggested.

“Okay thank you. That’d be great.” Wes replied.

“How did Blaine notice and we didn’t? We’re with him every single day.” Kim questioned.

“Blaine knows Kurt, he probably asked him about it and could tell whether Kurt lied or not.” David replied.

“Or they were fucking and Blaine noticed how skinny he was.” Wes said winking.

The girls went into a fit of giggles as Holden stared down at his food looking sick.

“Hey Holden. Are you okay? I mean I don’t know what you’re in here for but you’ve seemed really sad all day.” David asked concerned.

“Well I have depression and today isn’t really helping.” Holden shrugged.

“Was it the songs? I know Kurt may have liked them, but were they offensive to you guys?” Wes asked full of worry.

“Oh no, the songs were funny. It was just something else. It doesn’t matter.” Holden shrugged.

“Ignore him. He’s in a pissy mood because he’s been crushing over Kurt and Blaine here is depressing for him.” Bethany said bluntly.

“Bethany!” Holden whined.

“What? It’s true! You’re just upset because Blaine is perfect. Why else would you have treated him so coldly all day?” Bethany justified her answer.

“I’m not jealous of Blaine.” Holden said softly.

“No one said you were. Cough cough guilty conscience cough cough.” Bethany smirked.

“Ugghh.” Holden whined covering his face with his hands.

Wes and David just looked at each other not knowing what to say.

“I can understand where you are coming from, crushing on Kurt. Let’s face it he’s attractive, he’s nice, caring, loving, easy to talk to, understanding-” David began.

“He’s perfect.” Holden cried out interrupting David’s speech.

“Yes well, that. Any way he’s truly going through a lot right now, as I’m sure you know. And I don’t want you to get hurt. You seem like a great person Holden, I’m sure you have your troubles too, just as much as Kurt. So I really don’t want to see you get hurt. It’s just that well Kurt loves Blaine; they’re together and will be for a long time. You know there isn’t a day that goes by where Blaine doesn’t talk about ‘when Kurt gets out he’s going to marry him’ or ‘how they’ll spend the rest of their lives in New York’ or ‘what the names of their kids will be’ and practically every day he comes up with a new scenario of how he’ll propose. I don’t think they’ll be breaking up any time soon Holden. I can see that Kurt cares for you deeply. But that’s all. I’m sorry Holden.” David tried to explain delicately.

“Klaine is endgame.” Wes smiles.

“I get it. I just hurts, you know. I’ve never even had a boyfriend and I probably won’t because I’m stuck in here. Then perfect Kurt came around and I guess I fell too hard too fast and when I found out he was taken it really hurt. I tried to convince myself that Blaine was no good, but the truth is he’s really nice and caring, and hot. So I guess it’s kind of upsetting that I never stood a chance.” Holden frowned.

“Awwh Holden, it’s okay. You’ll find love someday. Don’t give up.” Wes smiled.

“I’m sure you guys will still be great friends Holden.” Kim smiled.

“Yeah, but that’s all we’ll ever be.” Holden said softly.

“Damn right, I bet Blaine could kick your ass.” Bethany laughed.

“Blaine’s pretty strong for such a little fellow.” David laughed.

“Yeah he even started the Dalton branch of fight—never mind I can’t talk about it.” Wes laughed covering his mouth.

The group just laughed at Wes’ comment.

“But Blaine would never hurt you. He has a heart of gold. Plus if he ever even thought about messing with you, Kurt would kick his ass.” David added.

Holden just laughed and smiled fondly.

“So you think you’re going to be okay?” Wes asked.

“Yeah, I’ll be okay.” Holden smiled.
