The music for the next song quickly picked up and Blaine began to sing again.

Blaine sang by himself.

The song came to a close and the audience cheered.

The music for the next song began and Blaine started to sing.

“I just want you close. Where you can stay forever. You can be sure. That it will only get better.” Blaine sang with a smile that was absolutely breathtaking.

Blaine ended the song and everyone stood up and cheered.

“He has a beautiful voice.” Bethany whispered to Kurt.

“I know.” Kurt said tearing up a little.

“Okay, this is our last song for you all this lovely afternoon. It’s pretty upbeat and cheery and I hope it puts you all in good spirits.” Blaine explained as the music began to play.

“This song goes out to someone I love, here in this very hospital. I know you have been through a lot but I think you’re going to make a comeback.” Blaine said with a wink in Kurt’s direction.

Blaine then began to dance around the makeshift stage singing, “Well, maybe it’s the common curse. Maybe things get bad before they get worse, I don’t wanna become someone who can’t live up to what’s already done.” He sang excitedly.

“Don’t keep it just to figure it out. When it rains it pours, and then it runs out.” Blaine sang enthusiastically moving his hands like ran washing down. He dropped to his knees as he slid across the stage singing, “I was crying on the bathroom floor, and just when I thought I could take no more.”

“Well here comes a comeback. The kid is back, is back on track!” Blaine pointed to Kurt and continued to sing, :And there goes my hero! He’s an underdog, he’s coming out on top!”

“And come on, come on back, that’s my dog.”

“It was the talk of the trailer park, she went whistling through the grave yard. She came to raise the dead.” Blaine sang moving animatedly like a zombie. “And I was a stain on her unmade bed. I found a lover and then I lost myself.”

“And now I’m nowhere, she’s somewhere else. And the boys with the brow skinny legs said you’re on and one, she sees but I say!”

Blaine danced around the stage, “Here comes a comeback. The kid is back, is back on track!” He sang animatedly drawing the song to a close as everyone stood up to applause.

“Thank you so much. Thank you so much for having us today.” Blaine smiled genuinely and made his way off stage.

Only to be stopped by a few elderly patients who ‘had a granddaughter they wanted him to meet’

He just laughed, he was too happy to correct them or say anything.

He was here for Kurt.
