Author's Notes:

So... there was chapter three. Sorry for killing Burt off. It was either that or making him a homophobe, and personally I liked this better! I am so evil! :)

Thanks for reading!

PLEASE REVIEW! Reviews makes me happy, and makes me update faster too. Again... If I get five reviews on this chapter I will update this weekend again! Thanks for reading! :)

Kurt isnt sure what wakes him up the next morning. But as he does, he isnt alone at the bench anymore. Bob is back. Hes sitting next to Kurt, staring at him with his bright blue eyes.

"So..." he says as Kurt sits up" he didnt show up, did he?"

"Gmorning to you too, Bob..." Kurt mumbles and stretches his arms and neck. "He will come, I know it. It was my fault this time you know..."

"Yeah...and Im the president of the United States."

"Shut up." Kurt punches him lightly on the shoulder.

"Is that the thanks I get when I borrow you my blanket?" Bob replies, a slight grin on his lips. "It was really cold in the church without it last night."

"Oh...you went to the church..."Kurt smiles mockingly at Bob." did you see Rosie there?"

Bob doesnt reply. He only scoffs and picks up his bag. He opens it, and picks up two sandwiches,

wrapped in paper. He gives one of them to Kurt.

"No... I cant take it, it is yours..." Kurt says, refusing to accept the sandwich, even as his stomach is cramping and screaming for food.

"Well then..." Bob says picking up his own sandwich, putting the other one on the bench between them. "Ill just leave it to the squirrels..."

Sighing Kurt takes the sandwich, and starts to eat.

"You should talk to her, you know..." he says after a while, "She might like you back..."

"I wouldnt think so..."

"How would you know..."Kurt asks, watching the man beside him curiously, "I didnt think Simon would like me back, but it turned out he loves me..."

"Yeah right..."

"He does...he really does..." Kurt continues as if he didnt notice the comment "He is the only one you know. Even though I am bad sometimes. Sis the only one who likes me anymore... Even though I sometimes makes it hard for him... He loves me... I will get better. I will. I quit the job now..."

"Okay...stop rambling kid..." Bob cuts him off" why dont you sing something? That flying gravity song you like?"

""Defying" gravity Bob, not flying"

"Just sing it..." Bob says leaning back in the bench and folding his arms over his chest.

"Something has changed within me.

Something is not the same..."

As Kurt finishes the song, it has begun to get lighter outside. People has started to arrive at the park, some walking to work, others to school.

"You should come with me today" Bob says" I will take you to a help-centre... You can get help there..."

"I dont need any help... Simon loves me. He would never hit me..."

"Dont lie to me Kurt..." Bob says, his words filled with concern. "Dont think I didnt see your bruise last time."

"He didnt mean it, it was a one-time thing. It was my fault..."

"Im sure he told you that."

None of them says anything after that. After half an hour, Bob picks the blanket up and puts it in his backpack. He tells Kurt goodbye, and then he leaves.

Kurt is still sitting on the bench. He doesnt dare to walk home, and even if he did he wouldnt get back into the house. He left the keys in the flat. He will wait until Simon comes.

He leans back on the bench and closes his eyes.

He is woken up by someone shouting, but he cant make out the words at first.

"-get back here! You stupid dog! Fido! Get back here now!"

Then something jumps up upon him, and he feels that something licking his face.

Kurt opens his eyes, and right in front of him, on his lap actually, there is a dog. A Jack Russel terrier. Named Fido apparently.

He looks up, and his breath is taken away, like literally. It is a young man standing in front of him. A beautiful young man.

He has dark brown, maybe black hair. It is gelled down. But Kurt thinks it would be curly otherwise. He has a perfectly shaped mouth, a beautiful yaw line. And the most pretty eyes, hazel.

The strangers mouth is moving. He is saying something, but Kurt isnt really listening.

"Sorry...What?"

The stranger laughs. And it makes him even more beautiful.

Stop it, Kurt he says to himself you are with Simon. He loves you.

"Are you okay? I hope Fido didnt scare you, he never listens to me" the stranger bends down and picks the dog up.

"Fido?" Kurt asks, rising an eyebrow.

"I know, stupid name" the man in front of him says.

"Yet you named him that?" Kurt asks.

"Not my dog..."

"Did you steal him?"  Kurt smiles.

"Actually, its my sisters dog, "the stranger laughs.

"You stole it from her?"

"No..." the stranger smiles again. "I would love to talk to you, even though you seem to think I am the kind of person who would steel a dog, but I have to get going. I need to get this monster back home before I go to work."

The handsome stranger, with the gorgeous hazel eyes disappears down the hill. The dog running around his legs.

Kurt sits on the bench all day. He talks to a few squirrels (because he fells awfully alone) and helps a tourist who is lost. Otherwise, nothing happens.

When it is starting to get dark, Simon still hasnt shown up. Kurt has been sitting here for 24 hours.

"Hey...are you still here?"

Kurt looks up, it is the stranger again. He is looking at Kurt with concern in his eyes.

"Can I sit?" he asks, nodding against the seat beside Kurt.

Kurt nods.

"So, why are you here, if you dont mind me asking?"

"I dont want to go home..." Kurt sighs.

"Fight with girlfriend?" the stranger asks.

"Boyfriend"

"What about?" the stranger looks at him "you dont need to answer that!" he adds quickly.

"I lied to him. He thinks I do way too little for our relationship."

"Do you regret it? That you lied I mea-"

"Yes, of course I do!"

"Then why dont you tell him?"

"I dont know how...thats why I went here...we met here. If he wants me back he will come."

"So you will sit here till he comes?"

Kurt laughs sadly.

"I dont really have a choice...I forgot my key."

"Why dont you go to a friends house then?"

"I dont really have friends..."

"Oh..."the stranger thinks for a moment. "You could sleep at my house tonight, if you want to..."

He trails of, looking at Kurt with a questioning look.

"Why are you being nice to me?" Kurt asks. "You dont even know my name"

"Well then, "the stranger laughs, and grabs Kurts hand in a handshake "My name is Bl-"

He is, however, interrupted by a phone ringing, it is Kurts.

He gives the man an apologizing smile, stands up and walks away a few steps to take the call.

"Hello?"

"Is this Kurt Hummel speaking?" a man says on the other end.

"Yeah, thats me, who is this?" Kurt asks puzzled.

"Im Rick Dawson. A nurse at Lima Memorial Hospital, sir."

Oh God... oh god oh god oh god... fuck...

"Im calling about-"

"Is he okay? Is my dad okay?" Kurt almost shouts into the phone. "Please tell me he is okay..."

Please, please, please...

"Im sorry sir..."

God no, please... please...

"-father, Burt Hummel, was brought in..."

Nonononono... please... no...

"-car crash... great head-trauma."

...dad...please...no... wake up, Kurt... please...

"...-nothing we could do...-sorry for your loss..."

Kurts vision starts to swim over with tears, he drops his phone to the ground, but he barely notices it. His breath starts coming out in short, and panicked breaths.

Daddy...please... this cant be happening...

He starts to feel dizzy, and his vision is swimming. His legs are shaking beneath him, and suddenly his knees buckles.

Strong arms wraps around his waist, holding him up. Without even noticing it, Kurt finds himself clinging to the other person, sobs shaking his body.

"Dad...please..." Kurt pleads "come back, please come back daddy..."

Kurt feels the strangers arms tighten around him, holding him up, as his legs threaten to give out. Kurt clings to the man, holding on by dear life.

"Hey...hey, calm down... shh..." the other man says, "Ive got you, shh... calm down... tell me whats wrong..."

He strokes Kurts hair, holding him as he cries.

"Please let me help you... tell me whats wrong..."

But Kurt cant, despite trying as hard as he could, he cant form any words. His tries are drenched in sobs, and the stranger pulls him closer making soothing sounds to calm him down. It is comforting, to know someone is there, he just wishes that it was his dad, instead of a nameless stranger.

Kurt can still hear the devastating words, echoing in his head, refusing to leave him alone.

"...-nothing we could do...-sorry for your loss..."

And his world comes crashing down upon him.
