Author's Notes: Sorry it took so long, guys. It took me a while to think of how I should write this, but here it is. I'm sorry for all the time-skipping. I tried to make this smooth, and I tried to make it a fairly cute chapter.

After the confession at the coffee shop, Blaine's expression had been that of pure shock, but Kurt must have taken the awkward silence the wrong way, and he was gone before Blaine could get his number like he had wanted to, or before he could even apologize.

It had been a pretty busy week for Blaine, but today was Friday, and thankfully school had just ended, and there was no Warbler practice today. That was probably the best news of the day considering the whole week before today had been spent studying, practicing songs, meeting with the Warblers, and homework. Today, though, he was free, which is why the first thing he had done when he got to his empty house was sleep.

"Blaine, don't be gone for too long, okay? I need you to help me unpack your room," 5 year-old Blaine's mother flashed a smile to him, and he nodded, exiting out the front door of their new house. He looked up at the big men who were unloading the moving truck, wrinkling his nose as one of them patted his head before bringing more boxes inside.
He didn't want to move to this new place, at all. But his Daddy had told him there would be more kids for him to play with, and his mommy had insisted that he would love this new house in Lima, Ohio. Apparently since he was 5, he wasn't old enough to move out yet, so he knew he had to go with them.
He let his little legs carry him around the front yard, until he found a little patch of 3 or 4 daisies. His little curls flopped in the wind as he bent down, picking one up and pressing his nose to it. He stood back up, and heard a little voice, "No, Mr.Pig, you can't have more tea!"
Blaine turned around and saw a little boy in the yard next door; he was sitting at a little table with a stuffed pig next to him, and a stuffed bear on the other side. He held a tea cup in one hand and was giggling as something Blaine didn't hear. Maybe the stuff animals were talking to him. His teddy bear sometimes talked to him too. He looked at the little boy, and then at the flower in his hand-

Blaine's dream, and nap, was interrupted by a heavy knock at the door. Groaning, he sat up, rubbing his eyes sleepily and swinging his legs off of his bed. Since his parents were on a business trip, he was home alone, and now had to go answer the door, even though he just wanted to sleep.

Walking out of his room and down the stairs, he blinked a few times, before opening the door, looking up at the tall boy standing at his door. "Uh..hi."

The boy looked at him, "Are you Blaine Anderson? Uh, I'm uh, Rachel's boyfriend, Finn." He scratched the back of his neck, and Blaine thought he looked nervous, like he didn't want to be here. He immediately asummed the worst.

"What's wrong? Is it Rachel? Is she okay?"

Finn nodded, "Yeah, yeah, Rachel's fine. Uhm, I'm also Kurt's step-brother. His dad sent me here to uh, talk to you.." He gave Blaine the most uncomfortable look, and Blaine had to try not to laugh.

"Oh, well, yeah, come in." He stepepd out of the way for the taller boy to walk in, wondering why he was even here. He let a small yawn as the boy stepped in, and rubbed his eyes again. What could be so important that he had to be woken up fron a great sleep and a dream that seemed so familiar?

"Sit down, Finn. I'm not going to murder your or anything," He could sense how uncomfortable the other boy was as he sat down on his couch, lifting an eyebrow and waiting until Finn did the same "So uh, why did Kurt's dad send you here? Is Kurt okay? I made him really upset, didn't I?"

Finn just nodded, shrugging a little bit. "Burt just...he's really protective of Kurt. For obvious reasons. And ever since Saturday, Kurt's just been kind of quiet and not really talking to anyone."

"Really? Wow...did I hurt him that bad? I didn't mean t-"

Finn cut him off, "Nah, dude. Kurt hasnt had much luck with friends. He went to Mckinley with Rachel and I and everyone else in Glee Club for about a year, but it just became too much for him and he was teased a lot, so he's homeschooled now. But he told me that he felt a connection with you, and then when he told you he was blind, you didn't say anything. He seems to think he can read people's emotions, and uh, I guess, I don't know, sometimes he can. But he just feels like he can't really, like, make friends, you know?"

Blaine nodded, "Yeah. I didn't mean anything, though. I mean, when I didn't say anything. I was just kind of in shock, because he doesn't seem like he is blind. Or he didn't at first."

"Yeah. Well, dude, all I'm saying is maybe you should talk to him. Burt seems to think Kurt doesn't need friends because they'll just make him upset, but Kurt and everyone else, including me, knows that he needs friends, besides just Rachel."

Blaine agreed with him, and for the next hal an hour, he talked to Finn, trying to find out a little bit more about Kurt. There really wasn't much found out though, because Finn was still uncomfortable, he could tell. Though, he had agreed to talk to Kurt and Finn even gave him the other boy's number before leaving to go back home.

The next day, Blaine finally had a plan ready; though really, he just wanted to talk to Kurt and see if he could make things better. Maybe it was a little weird to want to be friends with this boy so bad after only meeting once, but Blaine wasn't exactly good at making friends, either. In fact, he was kind of a loner outside of school where he had the Warblers.

It was about 11 and he had just eaten a late breakfast that he had skillfully prepared himself, before cleaning up. Now standing at the island in the kitchen, he picked up his phone and bit his lip, before dialing the number, and hitting 'call'.

"Hello?"

"Kurt? Hey, it's-"

"Blaine? Uh, hey." The tone of Kurt's voice suddenly dropped slightly. Maybe he really did hurt the boy on accident.

"You knew it was me?"

"Voices are easy to pick out mostly."

"Oh. Right. Well uh, I was wondering if you were busy later? Around 3ish?" Blaine began to nervously play with a loose curl on his head.

"No, I don't believe so. Why do you ask?"

"Would you like to meet me at the park around that time?"

"Oh, so now you want to hang out with the blind kid? You seemed pretty uncomfortable with the fact last weekend."

"I know. I'm sorry. But I just want to explain, and we can, I don't know, go for a walk or something. Please?"

There was a pause, and then, "Okay. 3 o'clock. Meet me by the huge tree in the center of the park."

Blaine was puzzled how he even knew about the big oak, but then again, maybe he hadn't always had been blind. "Okay, huge oak tree. I got it."

"Bye, Blaine. See you then." And the call ended before Blaine could even say anything.

Looking at the clock, he realized he had about 3 hours to get ready, and he figured he would stop to get a coffee before the park.

The sky outside was cloudless, the sun was semi-bright, and there was a slight and chilly breeze that played with Blaine's hair as he walked out of the coffee shop with his normal Medium Drip in hand. It was a beautiful day, and he decided to take that as a sign that maybe he would be able to have Kurt forgive him.

Taking a sip of his coffee, he straightened the scarf around his neck as he walked into the entrace of the park. "Big oak, big oak," He repeated to himself, "There are a lot of those." He ran a hand through his hair, until he spotted someone who looked like Kurt, standing by a tree.

Smiling, he made his way over to the tree, and as he got closer, he saw a dog standing right next to Kurt; a golden retriever, who actually looked rather calm. As soon as Blaine started walking towards Kurt, the dog started barking, though not very loud, and gave a couple tugs on the harness that he was wearing, in which Kurt was holding onto it.

"Lucky, hush. It's okay. Blaine?"

Blaine smiled a little, realizing the dog was probably Kurt's 'eyes'. "Yeah, just me."

He saw a small smile appear on Kurt's face, but only for a moment. Though, either way, it was nice to see; the boy had an amazing smile.

"Well, let's walk and talk, I guess," Kurt said quietly, and Blaine nodded, "Lucky will follow you once you start walking."

As Blaine began walking, he heard Kurt quietly say a command to Lucky, and watched as the dog began to walk in pace with him, with Kurt still holding onto the harness. He didn't want to freak out and treat Kurt differently, because he knew that would  make things worse, so he just got used to the situation.

"Kurt, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for what happened at the coffee shop," Blaine said, putting his hands in his pockets, "I honestly didn't mean to act like a jerk. I just didn't know what to say. I didn't even notice that you couldn't see."

Kurt made a face, and looked in Blaine's general direction, "It's because I'm used to it. I should apologize, though. I'm used to people's reactions being negative," He muttered quietly.

Blaine turned and led them on a path that was away from where most of the other people in the park were, and smiled as Lucky, and Kurt, followed. "And that's horrible. But I'm not like that. I...I just thought we kind of hit it off."

Kurt's lips lifted into a smile that could have easily taken Blaine's breath clear away, and it actually kind of did, but he caught it back easily, "I thought we hit it off too, Blaine."

And just like that, he could feel any type of tension between drift away, and there was a sense of calm.

"So am I forgiven?" Blaine asked, and Kurt nodded as they continued to walk down the path, wounding between a group of trees.

"Hey, Blaine?"

"Yeah, Kurt?"

"It feels nice outside. Will you tell me what it looks like where we are?"

Blaine nodded, "Yeah, of course. Uh, well, the sky is clear, not a cloud to be seen. The sun was rather bright when we first got here, but now it's gone down a little. We're walking through a small bunch of trees right now, and the sun's shining through them. It's making your hair look shiney," He laughed softly, "The leaves are really green, and I'm taking you to a small garden I found when I was a little kid."

Kurt smiled, "Hm, it's really pretty. I can picture it." He looked in Blaine's general direction again, "You're really attractive, apparently. Rachel said you are."

"You asked her what I looked like?" Blaine questioned as they soon exit the bunch of trees and came to the small patch of flowers he used to come to when he was little.

A small blush snuck onto Kurt's cheeks, and he nodded, "Yes. She said you have these cute little curls that you gel down for school, but on the weekends, you let your curls hang loosely. You have hazel-green eyes that get all wide when you're happy, and they crinkle up at the corners when you smile. And she said you have a voice and a smile that could make anyone weak in the knees."

It was Blaine's turn to blush, as he sat down near the flowers, and took Kurt's hand, "Sit."

As Kurt stopped for a moment and nodded, Blaine watched as he sat down and Lucky laid down between them.

"Rachel gave you quite the description, huh?"

Kurt nodded, "Yes. And I can picture it perfectly." He shifted his hand down, feeling around, before grabbing one of the flowers, picking it up and sticking it into Lucky's collar, smiling in Blaine's direction, "I bet this place is pretty."

There was a hint of something in Kurt's voice that sounded a lot like sadness, and Blaine knew why. They were in this beautiful garden, and Kurt couldn't even see the flowers.

But what Blaine didn't know was the real reason Kurt was sad.

He couldn't see Blaine for himself.

End Notes: The dream Blaine had is more like a memory, and it's actually going to continue over a few chapters, so it will be less confusing soon enough.
