“Blaine,” his father said and Blaine tipped his head back with a groan. “Come in here please.” Blaine stood a little bit taller and marched into the living room where his father was perched on the couch watching basketball. His father stared at the screen for a moment later before regarding his son. “Where are you off to?” Blaine knew this was going to happen.
“Mike’s.”
“To do what?”
“I don’t know dad,” Blaine said with an exasperated sigh. “We’ll probably just play video games or something.” Blaine’s dad looked back to the television screen and Blaine began to bounce on the balls of his feet. He was going to be late. He waited for his dad to say something, but his father was getting caught up in the game. “So, can I go?” Blaine ventured and his dad looked back at his with a start, obviously forgetting his son was standing there.
“Yeah, have fun.”
“Thanks!” Blaine shouted as he ran to the door and closed it quickly behind him, cutting off his father’s next words. Blaine rushed to his car and jumped inside before shoving the key in the ignition. The car vibrated as it started up and he grabbed his phone. ‘Be there in 10’ he txted quickly and a moment later his phone buzzed.
‘Okay. See you soon.’
Blaine pulled out of the driveway and turned on the radio, now fueled on excitement. He sang along to the radio as he drove, singing We Are Young by fun at the top of his lungs. A few minutes later, he pulled up to his destination and took a relaxing breath before parking the car and walking up to the front door. Blaine raised his arm and froze. C’mon Blaine. You can do this. Courage. He shook out his nerves for a second before raising his hand again and knocking firmly on the door.
A moment later, a man in a flannel t-shirt, dirty blue jeans, and a baseball cap that covered his bald head opened the door. Blaine gulped nervously before speaking. “Hi, Mr. Hummel. Is Kurt, um, ready?” Kurt’s dad looked Blaine over for a minute, and Blaine was beginning to feel very uncomfortable.
“You must be Blaine,” he said finally and held out his hand. Blaine shook it immediately and nodded his head.
“Yes, sir.”
“And I understand you’re here to take Kurt on a date?” God, why was Blaine’s mouth so dry? And could Mr. Hummel feel how sweaty his palms were?
“Yes, sir,” Blaine said again and Burt offered his a half smile.
“Call me Burt.” Blaine smiled too, a wave of relief rushing over him.
“Yes, sir.” Burt stared at him for a moment longer before ushering him inside.
“Hey, Blaine!” Blaine looked past Burt and saw a tall brunette standing further down the hallway.
“Hey, Finn,” Blaine said with a wave.
“Blaine’s here?” A second later Rachel was walking out of the kitchen and smiled brightly when she saw her brother standing in the threshold with Burt. “What are you-”
“I have a date tonight.” She raised an eyebrow at him.
“Why didn’t I know about this?” Blaine shrugged. “Seriously, neither you nor Kurt told me. That hurts,” she said and clutched her heart.
“Huh, I guess Kurt really does like me more,” Blaine said innocently and Rachel stuck her tongue out at him.
"Either that or he's embarrassed of you." Blaine opened his mouth to retort, but another voice spoke first.
“Blaine,” Burt said from beside him and Blaine looked up at Kurt’s dad a little nervously. From behind Burt’s head, Blaine could see Rachel and Finn scurry from the hall and into another room. “I don’t know about you, but this is Kurt’s first date. He’s new to all this stuff. And he’s been through so much. He’s had to go through a lot more than a boy his age should. And I want to make sure that you’re serious about him. Now, I’m not saying that you and Kurt shouldn’t go out; I just don’t want to see my boy get hurt. Because then I have to hurt you.” Blaine found himself smiling at Burt regarded him with curious eyes.
“Burt, I have absolutely no intention of hurting your son. He is the most amazing person I’ve ever met. I’ve only been on a couple dates myself, but really care about your son. And I plan on sticking around for a while- if that’s okay with you.” Blaine loved how much Burt loved Kurt, and he felt comfortable around the older man, even though he had threatened to hurt him. Burt smiled at Blaine and clapped him on the back.
“I guess that’s fine.” Blaine grinned back.
He heard a creak on the steps and his heart leaped as he saw Kurt walking down the steps in a royal blue sweater and his famously tight skinny jeans. Kurt smiled shyly at Blaine’s ogling expression and when he reached the bottom of the stairs he clapped his hands together. “Ready?” Blaine was still gazing at the boy in front of him in a daze.
“You look stunning,” he said, and Kurt blushed madly.
“I’ll take that as a yes.” Kurt said and bit his lip slightly before looking over at his dad. “Bye, dad. I’ll be back later.” Burt gave his son a half hug before Kurt could wiggle free.
“Don’t be out too late!”
“Don’t worry, sir, I’ll have him back safe and sound by 11.” Kurt was pushing Blaine out of the door and closed it quickly behind him before continuing to push the curly haired boy down the porch. Once they were in the driveway, Kurt relaxed and beamed over at Blaine.
“You looked pretty great yourself,” he said and Blaine looked down at his red jacket and high waters. He smiled back at the other boy and opened his door.
“Thanks,” Blaine said and leaned in to kiss Kurt’s cheek. Once Kurt was sitting down, he closed the door and began to run to the other side of the car, but paused once he was in front of the car. He turned and looked at Kurt with a bright grin on his face. Kurt furrowed his brows, but smiled none the less.
“What are you doing?” Kurt mouthed to Blaine and he held up a finger to Kurt as he positioned himself. He took a few steps back and got himself ready. God, please make this look cool. Or at least don’t let me fall off the front of the car and get a gravel facial. Blaine rolled his shoulders in anticipation before he ran forward and rolled over the hood of the car, executing his move smoothly. Once he landed, he dashed into the driver’s seat and looked over at Kurt.
“Impressed?”
“Oh, you have no idea,” Kurt said with a slight chuckle as Blaine put the car in drive and took off down the street. As they drove, Blaine reached over and took Kurt’s hand in his, and the other boy began to run his fingers up and down Blaine’s arm. Blaine stole a glance over at Kurt and couldn’t help but marvel at him. God, if you’re there, thank you. I don’t think I can ever thank you enough, but I’m going to start trying. Thank you so much.
The car ride was a little longer than Blaine had expected, but he didn’t mind. Kurt turned on the radio and the couple sang along to all the songs they knew, turning them into impromptu duets.
“So, where are you taking me?” Kurt asked, trying to be nonchalant.
“I told you, it’s a surprise.” Kurt groaned and Blaine squeezed his hand. “Relax,” he chastised and placed a delicate kiss to Kurt’s knuckles.
“I’m just excited,” Kurt said and Blaine looked over at him with a small smile.
“Good.” Kurt pulled their hands onto his lap and began to trace the lines in Blaine’s hand.
“You know, I’ve never been on a date before.” Blaine looked over at the boy, but Kurt had his eyes trained on Blaine’s palm. How was it that this perfect being had been single for all his life? How was it that Blaine was the first person to see this side of Kurt? He felt like he was being allowed to see Atlantis.
“I just hope this does it justice.” Kurt looked over at him and smiled sweetly at him.
“Well you’re here, so we’re already off to an amazing start. And honestly, I don’t see how it could possibly be bad. We could have dinner in a dumpster and it would still be perfect.” Blaine found himself watching Kurt more than the road and had to force himself not to look at the gorgeous man beside him. “But please tell me that’s not what we’re doing.” Blaine widened his eyes a fraction and slowed down the car as they reached a parking lot, which happened to have a section of dumpsters to the left. He smiled shyly at Kurt.
“Maybe,” he said and Kurt’s expression instantly fell as his eyes widened to the size of fifty cent pieces. Blaine took both of Kurt’s hand in his and stared into his boyfriend’s eyes. “I thought it might be kinda cool.” He gestured to the back seat of the car where a picnic basket sat and Kurt continued to stare at him with the same horrified look.
“C’mon,” Blaine said, breaking out in a grin as he jumped out of the car and into the backseat to grab to the basket. Kurt stayed in the passenger seat and stared at Blaine with an incredulous look. Blaine rolled his eyes at Kurt and closed the backdoor before walking around the car and opening Kurt’s door. “Come on, Princess,” Blaine said and pulled Kurt out of the car. He took Kurt’s hand in his and began walking along the sidewalk, the opposite way of the dumpsters. Kurt gave Blaine another questioning look and Blaine laughed. “You didn’t actually think I was taking you to a dumpster, did you?” Kurt looked away from his boyfriend, suddenly becoming very interested in the darkening sky above them.
Blaine pulled Kurt closer to his side and kept staring at Kurt, but the boy seemed very keen on keeping his gaze anywhere but Blaine. Blaine began making weird faces at Kurt, and gasped loudly, hoping to get the taller boy to look at him, but Kurt wouldn’t budge. Blaine sighed and quickly pulled Kurt in another direction, down a narrow path that lead through some trees on Kurt’s left. “Kurt.” He kept his eyes on the sky. “Kurt,” Blaine said, over and over again and becoming more whiny each time. Finally Kurt looked down at Blaine when the shorter boy stopped walking.
“You’re not allowed to make fun of me,” Kurt said and Blaine shook his head softly as he hid a smile.
“I’d never make fun of you.” Kurt playfully shoved Blaine.
“Why would you do that to me?”
“Hey, it’s not my fault you suggested it as a date idea. I just happened to be taking you to a place that had dumpsters.”
“Still,” Kurt insisted and Blaine dropped the picnic basket before taking Kurt in his arms.
“Do I get a shot at redemption?” Kurt looked thoughtful for a moment.
“I guess that’s fair,” Kurt managed to get out before Blaine pressed their lips together. Blaine loved this. He loved the feel of Kurt’s body against his, the way their lips seemed to mold together. It felt perfectly perfect. Kurt pulled away a moment later, and Blaine couldn’t hide the disappointment on his face. Kurt smiled and kissed his pouting lips softly. “You have definitely redeemed yourself.”
Blaine leaned forward to kiss Kurt again. “I have restored my honor!” Blaine cried in a loud whisper. Kurt snorted.
“God, you need to stop watching Avatar with Mike.”
“But Kurt.”
“Blaine.”
“Kuuurt.”
“Blaine.”
“Honor,” Blaine whispered softly and Kurt pushed Blaine gently.
“Jesus, is this date over yet?” Kurt asked, beginning to walk away from Blaine but he caught his boyfriend’s hand and pulled him back. Blaine cupped Kurt’s cheeks and kissed him once more before crouching down beside the picnic basket and opening the lid.
“Lucky for you, it’s just starting.” Blaine pulled out a blanket and unfolded it before throwing it out so it spread along the grass. He looked up at Kurt as he sat down on it and Kurt shook his head.
“Blaine, this is so cheesy. Even for you.”
“I’ve never,” Blaine began, giving Kurt his best sad eyes and hurt expression, “been so rudely insulted in my life. And on a date no less.” Kurt sighed deeply, but smiled down at Blaine regardless. “I’m just really surprised at you, Kurt.”
“I thought I was the drama queen,” Kurt said as he sat down in Blaine’s lap. Blaine instantly dropped the act and looked from Kurt’s eyes to his lips, and back up.
“I guess this is okay,” he said, sounding a little drunk from Kurt. And in a way, he was. Kurt made him feel good, no matter what. Kurt made Blaine feel confident. But most importantly, Kurt made him feel wanted; Kurt made him feel loved.
Blaine wrapped his arms around Kurt’s waist and Kurt draped an arm around Blaine’s neck, playing with his hair. “Oh, this is good for you?” Kurt asked playfully and Blaine couldn’t stop looking at those damn perfectly sculpted lips.
“Yeah, this is great,” Blaine said and leaned forward to press his lips to Kurt’s. Kurt began to lean more on Blaine’s chest, and Blaine slowly lowered them so they were lying on the blanket. Kurt kept one of his hands in Blaine’s hair and let the other travel over Blaine’s arm, feeling his biceps and triceps. Blaine loved the feeling of Kurt’s touch, and he sighed contentedly in the kiss.
But soon, Blaine grew hungry with desire.
He flipped himself and Kurt over, so the taller boy was underneath him, and he began a trail of open mouthed kisses down Kurt’s neck until he could feel the hem of Kurt’s sweater on his cheek. Blaine took one of his hands and pulled back the fabric before he kissed Kurt’s collar bone and began sucking at the pale skin. He felt Kurt turn his head, giving Blaine more room to access the spot and smirked as Kurt made soft noises of approval beneath him. Blaine nipped at the raw skin before he felt Kurt’s hands on his face, drawing him back up to Kurt’s lips.
Kurt was growing just as frantic as he was. Once Blaine’s lips touched Kurt’s, the other boy opened his mouth, licking Blaine’s bottom lip for a moment before pushing it inside Blaine’s mouth. Blaine let Kurt’s tongue explore his mouth before he lightly sucked at Kurt’s tongue. Kurt pulled on the back of Blaine’s neck, trying to bring him closer and Blaine faintly heard one of them moan, but he couldn’t tell which of them it was because god this was Kurt, and he couldn’t tell which way was up anymore.
He began to lose his head as Kurt sucked Blaine’s bottom lip in his mouth and to be honest, Blaine had no complaints. He could feel himself growing harder with every passing moment. He could feel Kurt getting hard beneath him as well, and that just made him go even crazier to know that Kurt was getting as much pleasure from this as he was. Blaine reached one of his hands down to Kurt’s jeans and lightly palmed at Kurt’s erection, making the boy gasp.
Blaine continued to kiss Kurt and rub his cock through Kurt’s jeans, and moment later Kurt was laying back with his back arching slightly. “God, Blaine,” he said a little breathlessly, and Blaine kissed Kurt’s neck. He moved his hand from Kurt’s cock to the button of Kurt’s jeans, swiftly unfastening it before tugging down the zipper and pulling down Kurt’s pants a little. Kurt propped himself up on his elbows and looked around the empty part tentatively. “Blaine.”
“Shh,” Blaine commanded and Kurt let out a ragged breath before he lay back down. Blaine could tell the Kurt was nervous, and he stopped for a moment. God, Blaine, what are you doing? This is your first real date with Kurt. And it’s Kurt’s first date ever! You don’t want to freak him out. Blaine pulled back a little and Kurt looked up at him.
“Is something wrong?” Kurt asked after a moment of silence and Blaine could tell that Kurt was getting self-conscious.
“No, no, of course not!” Blaine said and leaned over Kurt to press a soft kiss to his lips. “I just, think I might have gotten a little too carried away.” Blaine looked down and blushed a little.
“I thought you were doing fine,” Kurt said and Blaine looked up at him through his lashes. Kurt stroked Blaine’s cheek and Blaine leaned into Kurt’s touch. “But I get it.” Blaine cocked his head to the side in confusion. “You’re nervous.” Blaine’s brows disappeared into his hairline.
“Really? And why’s that?”
“You don’t want the whole ‘size’ thing to ruin our relationship.” Blaine couldn’t help but smile.
“Oh, trust me, baby, I can handle it.”
“Then go for it, Champ.” Blaine let his lips and stared down at Kurt for a minute before his expression turned serious.
“You’re sure?” Kurt leaned forward and kissed Blaine delicately. When he pulled back, he held Blaine’s gaze and nodded his head. Blaine smiled and kissed Kurt one more time before moving back down Kurt’s body and continuing where he left off.
He tugged Kurt’s pants down a little further before dragging the elastic from Kurt’s underwear down as well, and he barely stifled his moan when he was Kurt’s erect penis in full. Kurt was…bigger than Blaine had imagined, and Blaine was practically drooling.
Blaine lowered his mouth to Kurt’s cock, blowing out the air in his lungs and he could see the goose bumps rise on Kurt’s exposed skin at the cold air. Blaine took Kurt fully in his mouth and hollowed out his cheeks as he slid his mouth up Kurt’s shaft. Kurt’s back began to arch again and Blaine let his tongue stroke Kurt’s head before taking him in his mouth again. Blaine found a rhythm and bobbed his head as Kurt reached out and thread his fingers through Blaine’s hair. Kurt began to buck his hips, and Blaine held them steady as he sucked at a fixed pace.
Blaine knew Kurt was going to Kurt soon, and he rode Kurt through it as the boy jerked slightly beneath him. Once Kurt was finished, Blaine slid his mouth of Kurt with a soft ‘pop’ and he crawled up so he was lying next to Kurt. Kurt pulled Blaine into his chest and wrapped his arms around the smaller boy as they stared up at the sky.
“Thank you,” Kurt said after a long while and Blaine glanced up at him. “Sometimes I forget that I’m not the only one in this relationship who has feelings for the other.” Blaine pulled back at looked at Kurt, feeling a little hurt. Did Kurt seriously feel like Blaine didn’t care about him?
“Kurt, are you-”
“No, Blaine, I know that you have feelings for me. I do. I’m just so used to being alone that it’s easy to forget that this isn’t one-sided. I guess I’m just always surprised by how much you actually do care.” Blaine sat up and looked at Kurt sternly. This was just unbelievable. And unacceptable.
“Kurt Elizabeth Hummel,” Kurt snorted at that, “You are the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Honestly, you are the most incredible person in the world. And I can’t believe that you want this schlump,” Blaine waved to himself, “as your boyfriend. It’s uncanny, and the fact that you think you’re getting the longer end of the stick here is ridiculous.” Kurt smiled at Blaine, and Blaine felt warm despite the cold night air.
Kurt pulled Blaine back down next to him and kissed him lazily before resting his head on Blaine’s chest. “Can we just stay here forever?” Blaine leaned forward and kissed Kurt’s hair before gently running his fingers through it.
“Absolutely.” But wait, what time was it? Blaine pulled out his phone and his screen illuminated the darkness. Shit. “Okay, forever’s over,” he said and Kurt looked up at him.
“Huh?” Blaine sat up, causing Kurt lump over his lap.
“We have seven minutes to get you back home before your dad brutally murders me.” Kurt’s eyes widened and he and Blaine jumped up to pack everything up before they ran back to Blaine’s car. Blaine tried to slide over the car’s hood again, but this time failed and fell onto the concrete sidewalk.
“Blaine!” Kurt cried and began to climb out of the car to his rescue but Blaine waved him back.
“No time,” he said and hopped up before climbing into his car and peeling out of the lot. Kurt reached over and took Blaine’s arm in his hands to examine a scrape he had on his forearm.
“Blaine,” Kurt said and he looked over to find Kurt staring at him sternly. “No more hood slides.” Blaine smiled as he continued to speed down the road to the Hudson-Hummel household.
“No more hood slides,” he agreed.
Awwww! This was really cute, as always :) I loved it!
thank you soo much! I'm glad you're enjoying it :D
Okay the end of this chapter was adorable. BJ on the first date? Well hello!
I'm glad you liked it :) ahah...yeah.
Ahh i love this fic! But I got a little confused with this chapter, because in the other ones kurt had a boyfriend and now in this one blaine took him on his first ever date? o.o But anyway, awesome jobbbb!
Okay. I'm confused. Kurt's been with Liam and you said they've been on a few dates... So it also wasn't one sided, nor was Blaine the first one to want him as a boyfriend. And I suppose Blaine could've gone to dates before, but you said he never had a boyfriend. I mean, this sound's like I'm critisizing, but I'm really not, I'm just pointing out inconsistencies. Would't wanna your story to be like Glee. :P Anyways, the story is great! It's easy for reading and it's not boring. So, definitely great! :)
