Author's Notes: The rest of the week passed pretty quickly. Kurt and Blaine were inseparable. The two boys hung out at school-at the displeasure of their friends. They laughed, talked and had fun in each other’s company. They went to glee practice twice a day, every day, and got fawned over by Izzie, Nikoline and Nihal.
Friday came around fast; unfortunately Kurt had been unable to get out of today’s practice by feigning illness…
“I’m sorry babe…”said Kurt “You know I’d much rather be with you.”
“I know. It"s fine, it gives me time to make myself beautiful,” said Blaine grinning.
“You’re already beautiful Bee,” Kurt said.
“M'kay if you say so…” said Blaine smiling flirtatiously. “So I’ll pick you up at seven from your house?”
“Yeah… I am sorry.”
“I know. I quite like you alive though, Coach Sue would kill you if missed this practice… And if she did I wouldn’t have a gorgeous, hot boyfriend anymore.”
“I’m going to quit after the pep rally… I really am”.
“You really don’t have to... Not for me… You look sexy in that uniform anyway,” said Blaine, biting his lip, looking at the way the uniform clung to Kurt in all the right places.
“I’ll look hotter tonight,” said Kurt, looping his arms around Blaine waist and pulling him closer, so he could smell Blaine’s raspberry hair gel as a few loose curls tickled his nose,
“Mmm, I’m not sure that’s possible.”
“You’ll just have to see tonight…”
“Can’t wait,” said Blaine, nuzzling Kurt’s neck, pressing soft kisses to it.
“Mmm, you know,” whispered Kurt seductively in Blaine’s ear. “My dad and Carole are in DC all weekend, and Finn’s at Rachel’s… So we’d have the house to ourselves.”
“Would we now?”
“Yeah… We could do whatever we want, wherever we want, for as long as we want.”
“Oh really…”
“Yeah.”
“That sounds nice…”
“Now I reeeeaaaallllly need to go,” said Kurt patting Blaine’s ass lightly.
“Awwww, but I like you being here...”
“I’ll be here all night if you want babe.”
“I like that idea.”
“Can I have a goodbye kiss?”
Blaine pressed his lips to Kurt’s softly. Kurt smiled into the kiss; Blaine cupped Kurt’s cheek deepening the kiss. Kurt wound his arms tighter around Blaine and picked him up slightly off the floor, setting him down again just as the broke the kiss.
“See you at seven baby,” said Blaine.
“Yeah…” said Kurt, a little dazed from the kiss.
Blaine turned and walked away wiggling his hips at Kurt as he went. Kurt stared until Blaine rounded the corner and walked awkwardly to practice…
“Porcelain! Nice of you to grace us with your presence,” said Coach Sue.
“Sorry Coach” said Kurt as the other Cheerio’s glared at him.
“You were with him weren’t you?” said Mercedes through gritted teeth.
“It’s not really any of your business but yeah I was… We had Glee rehearsal”
“Kurt!” hissed Tina, “we told you joining glee club was social suicide… Somehow Mike can pull it off… It’s probably his abs”
“I don’t fucking care,” said Kurt starting to stretch
“You’ll care when you’re getting slushie facials everyday,” said Mercedes, before practice started.
Kurt winced as he remembered getting slushied. It was like getting bitchslapped by an iceberg, the corn syrup stinging your eyes. The ice would drip down your back, soaking through your underwear, leaving you feeling humiliated. Kurt hated that feeling, but he loved Blaine more, and he’d take a slushie for Blaine any day. They began to practice the routine for tomorrow.
“Look,” said Kurt when they’d finished practice. “I don’t care! I think I’ve really fallen for him already…”
Mercedes and Tina glared at him and stormed off huffily. Rachel stood behind Kurt watching him, she hated that they weren't supportive. Kurt had been there for them, helped them. Couldn’t they see that Blaine made Kurt truly happy, that he made him smile? Kurt’s shoulders sagged slightly as he watched them leave; he couldn’t see why his supposed best friends didn’t want him to be happy.
“Just ignore them Kurt,” she said, “Blaine makes you happy right?”
“The happiest I’ve felt since mom died…” said Kurt, sighing sadly.
“So who cares what they think… You’ve said it yourself you don’t care about your reputation.”
“I know but I’d at least like my friends and my boyfriend to get on…They really upset Blaine earlier… This week, he acted like they didn’t but I know they did… He just shrugged it off because he’s used to being treated like that and he shouldn’t be,” said Kurt tears stinging his eyes as they walked over to the parking lot. “He shouldn’t have to have become used to it, he deserves to be loved and cared for, he deserves happiness and all the good things in life because he’s such a good person.”
“I know Kurt, I know…” said Rachel putting an arm around him.
“I need to go… We have a date tonight… Dinner and a movie,” said Kurt, brushing away the tears that had fallen, his spirits lifting when he remembered he had a date with Blaine.
“Okay, call me later?”
“If I’m not too busy, dad’s away.”
“Oh in that case call me tomorrow,” said Rachel winking. Kurt grinned back.
Rachel hugged Kurt, and he climbed in his navigator and drove home to shower, fix his hair and get changed. He set up a few candles in his room and tidied quickly, he checked his top dresser draw to make sure he had everything they’d need and he sat waiting for Blaine.

Blaine was getting ready for tonight. He was going to make it perfect for Kurt. It had to be amazing, Kurt had done so much to help Blaine, so he really deserved this. Blaine dressed himself in a pair of grey pants, a white button down and a navy and grey argyle tank top style cardigan. He was doing his hair when he started panicking.
‘Everything is perfect Blaine it will be okay.’
‘No, no, what if it’s too much?’
‘It’s perfect, he’ll love it.’
‘What about later, when we’re alone in his house… I want to but he’ll see.’
‘He’s seen you shirtless before Blaine.’
‘He’ll see my back, he hasn’t seen it when we’ve been making out… he’ll leave me…’
‘He won’t Blaine…’
‘It’ll upset him…’
‘He really cares about you of course it will.’
‘I guess. I just don’t want to be the reason he is sad.’
‘You won’t be… it’s their fault Blaine…’
‘I guess… Crap it’s six forty, I need to go…’
‘Blaine…. everything will be fine…’
Blaine arrived at Kurt’s house at seven sharp. He pulled up and knocked on the door, Kurt answering sporting acid washed jeans, a grey shirt, and a lighter grey waist coat.
“Um wow,” said Blaine staring at Kurt, he looked beautiful.
“You got that right,” said Kurt looking Blaine up and down. “You look gorgeous.”
Blaine blushed and looked down at his feet.
“Um these are for you,” said Blaine holding out a bunch of red roses.
“Oh Blaine, they’re beautiful. Thank you,” said Kurt holding them to his nose, smelling them and smiling.
“You’re welcome.”
“I’m just going to put these in a vase and we can go okay?”
Blaine nodded and Kurt went back inside to put the flowers in a vase, and returned to Blaine. He offered his arm and walked Kurt to the car, opening the door for him. They drove to the restaurant. Kurt reached across the console to hold Blaine's hand as they drove. They pulled up outside Breadstix; Blaine hopped out of the car to open the door for Kurt. He offered his arm and led him inside Lola glanced over and smiled as she watched them enter, and they were greeted by Blaine’s friend Dave.
"Hey Blainers," he said grinning.
"Evening Dave... We have a reservation at seven thirty," said Blaine, grinning back. "This is Kurt."
"Nice to meet you Kurt," he nodded to Kurt, Kurt returning the gesture. "Right this way gentlemen"
Dave led them through the restaurant to the back room. The table was candle lit with a single rose in the vase, the room was covered in fairy lights, and in the corner sat a white baby grand piano. Kurt clasp a hand to his mouth… It was perfect; Blaine had kept his promise.
"Blaine," he said softly, still awestruck.
“It's too much… It’s too much isn't it?" said Blaine, panicking slightly.
"No..." said Kurt tilting Blaine’s chin up so he was looking at Kurt, and Kurt leaned in and pressed his lips to Blaine’s. "It’s perfect"
It truly was, but Kurt just hoped it didn't cost Blaine too much. It was amazing, Kurt had never had anything like this before. He was used to being the hopeless romantic, and now he'd met his match. Kurt loved it.
"I'm glad you like it."
"I love it."
"I'm glad."
They sat down, Dave poured them both some champagne, and then left them. The sat chatted and ate, Blaine had ordered the best Breadstix had to offer, and for dessert he ordered Kurt’s favourite raspberry cheesecake. Kurt slid his foot seductively up Blaine’s leg.
"I have something for you... "said Blaine.
"You do?"
"Yes, I kinda wrote you a song."
“You write music?”
“Um, yeah… I haven’t written much in a while…” said Blaine walking over to the piano. He began.
I've been alone
Surrounded by darkness
I've seen how heartless
The world can be
I've seen you crying
You felt like it's hopeless
I'll always do my best
To make you see
Baby, you're not alone
Cause you're here with me
And nothing's ever gonna bring us down
Cause nothing can keep me from lovin' you
And you know it's true
It don't matter what'll come to be
Our love is all we need to make it through
Now I know it ain't easy
But it ain't hard trying
Every time I see you smiling
And I feel you so close to me
Tell me
Baby, you're not alone
Cause you're here with me
And nothing's ever gonna bring us down
Cause nothing can keep me from lovin' you
And you know it's true
It don't matter what'll come to be
Our love is all we need to make it through
Kurt watched Blaine play. The song was beautiful, Blaine’s voice filled the small room effortlessly, harmonising perfectly with the chords he played on the piano. Kurt couldn’t believe Blaine had actually written a song for him, it was like in the movies… It was perfect… Blaine was perfect.
Well I still have trouble
I trip and stumble
Trying to make sense of things sometimes
I look for reasons
But I don't need 'em
All I need is to look in your eyes
And I realize
Baby I'm not alone
Cause you're here with me
And nothing's ever gonna take us down
Cause nothing can keep me from lovin' you
And you know it's true
It don't matter what'll come to be
Our love is all we need to make it through, ooh
Cause you're here with me
And nothing's ever gonna bring us down
Cause nothing, nothing, nothing can keep me from lovin' you
And you know it's true
It don't matter what'll come to be
You know our love is all we need
Our love is all we need to make it through
“Blaine, that was… It was beautiful,” Kurt breathed.
“Um, thanks… I like writing music,” said Blaine, blushing slightly.
“It was amazing… Have you written many others?”
“A few.”
“Very nice… You’ll have to play them for me some time,” said Kurt getting up and walking over to Blaine. He wrapped his arms around his waist. “What do you say we ditch the movie and head back to mine?”
“Mmm sounds good,” Blaine sighed happily.
“You like that idea?”
“…yeah.”
Kurt smiled, Blaine paid and they headed out to Blaine’s car. Kurt rubbed Blaine’s thigh as they drove back to his house, moving higher and higher to drive Blaine crazy. When they got back, Kurt led Blaine up to his room and closed the door. Blaine pushed Kurt backwards up against the door, kissing him, hard and hungrily. He sucked on Kurt’s lower lip, nibbling slightly. Kurt moaned in response, cupping Blaine’s cheek, bringing his right thigh up to Blaine’s hip, winding it around Blaine and pulling him closer. Blaine grinded hard into him, gaining the friction they both craved. Kurt started to kiss along Blaine’s jawline and down his neck, nipping at his earlobe.
“Mmm… Blaine, more, please more,” moaned Kurt as Blaine grinded into him again, deeper and harder than before.
Kurt started to push Blaine back towards the bed lust taking over. Blaine stumbled backwards and fell on to the bed, Kurt on top of him, and he grinded down into Blaine hard, feeling Blaine’s erection through his pants. Blaine’s hands fumbled to unfasten Kurt’s pants, and Kurt sighed as the pressure was relieved. He quickly unfastened Blaine’s, palming him roughly through his boxer shorts. Blaine moaned and rolled them over so he was straddling Kurt; and he undid Kurt’s waistcoat and ran his hands up Kurt’s torso underneath his shirt.
“I think we’re wearing too much clothes,” said Kurt, panting, needing Blaine.
“Yeah?” said Blaine, rocking in to Kurt rolling his hips.
Kurt slowly unbuttoned Blaine's shirt, and as Blaine mimicked his actions, his fingers fumbled with the buttons as his blood quickly headed south. Kurt pushed Blaine's shirt off his shoulders and threw it on the floor and pulled him flush to his chest, and both boys felt fire flare… Skin touching skin, lust and want taking over their bodies, pupils dilating, hands roaming. Kurt started to nip Blaine’s ear playfully, nuzzling Blaine’s neck gently. But then he saw them and gasped.
