Blaine awoke the next morning, a huge smile on his face. Yesterday actually happened, he was really the boyfriend of the Kurt Hummel- Kurt Hummel was Blaine Anderson's boyfriend. He still couldn't believe it. He showered quickly, dressed in his tightest red pants and nicest black shirt, did his hair and sat waiting for Kurt.
It was six twenty when Kurt's black navigator pulled up outside Blaine's house. Kurt couldn't believe what happened yesterday either, He was officially dating Blaine. He wished he could wear the Jeans shirt and waistcoat he bought at the weekend... maybe he'll wear it on the date on Friday. He couldn't wait to see Blaine again knowing he could now hug and kiss him all he wanted.
When Blaine saw Kurt's car pulling up he grabbed his bag, pushed his glasses up his nose and ran out to meet him. Kurt was stood by the passenger side door arms open, Blaine fell in to Kurt's embrace, hugging him tight.
"Morning Baby" said Blaine cheerily.
"You're far too cheery for six twenty in the morning babe" said Kurt smiling all the same
"I'm just happy to see you...sorry... I'll um...yeah" said Blaine, He pulled back slightly, worried he'd upset Kurt.
"Hey, Hey come back" said Kurt softly, feeling Blaine tense "I'm not done hugging you"
Blaine smiled and relaxed back into Kurt, he kissed Kurt's cheek softly, sniffed his neck. He reminded himself that he was safe with Kurt; Kurt wouldn't hit him or hurt him.
"You missed" Kurt grinned.
"Huh?"
"You missed" he repeated.
"What?" Blaine said confused, he'd Kissed Kurt hadn't he?
Kurt grinned, Blaine was adorable, and he pressed his lips softly to Blaine's. He felt Blaine's lips smile against his before kissing him back slowly.
"Oh I missed" said Blaine looking up into Kurt's eyes, smiling.
"Yeah" said Kurt getting lost slightly in Blaine's eyes "so... breakfast?"
"Yeah..." said Blaine dreamily.
Blaine climbed in to Kurt's car after sharing one last chaste kiss and they headed to the Lima Bean They sat down with their coffee and breakfast of oatmeal and dried fruits. They spent the next hour or so chatting, they talked about how they slept and what they expected in their classes today.
"We should get going" said Blaine, pulling his eyes away from Kurt just long enough to glance at his watch to see it was eight thirty.
"Yeah we should" said Kurt, still lost in Blaine's amber pools.
Blaine smiled he was going to enter school with his new boyfriend. He'd get to hang out with Kurt and stare at him. They linked arms and walked outside into the parking lot, kissing chastely at the car. They drove to school, holding hands and chatting happily. When they arrived they climbed out linked arms and walked to home room, they unlinked their arms when they reached the door wanting to surprise the girls.
Rachel, Mercedes and Tina were chatting and giggling at their usual table when Kurt and Blaine entered the classroom. Rachel looked up saw them and smiled, they both looked so much happier than they had done lately, she didn't know for certain but she could hazard a guess as to why. They smiled back as the walk towards the table.
"Hello Boys" she said, beaming at them.
"Hi Rach." said Kurt, a wide grin on his face.
"Hello" said Blaine, Smiling brightly. Kurt couldn't help but notice how stunning his eyes looked when he smiled like this.
"So... What's new with you Blaine?" she asked, probing for information.
"Not much, Started teaching piano" he said offhandedly, looking sideways at Kurt and sharing a small laugh remembering their conversation last night.
"Oh... Okay" said Rachel disappointed that Blaine hadn't revealed more "Kurt, how're you?"
"I'm great, amazing, fantastic, never been better" Said Kurt, his are snaking around Blaine's waist, so the girls couldn't see, and Pulled Blaine to his hip as they walked to their chairs.
"Oh?" she said
"Yeah" he smiled.
She smiled knowingly at the pair of them as they laced fingers under the table.
"Um Kurt?" said Mercedes.
She knew what was going on, but why was Kurt jeopardising his reputation for this boy... Blaine wasn't much special, he was below them. They only humoured Blaine when they thought it was temporary... but now? Blaine didn't belong, he was in glee club and he on the tutor programme. H just didn't fit in.
"Hmmm?" said Kurt, turning his attention from Blaine, looking at her and smiling.
"Is there something you'd care to tell us" she said
"Um..." said Kurt, looking up as if he was thinking. He was enjoying teasing them "Nope... I don't think so" he returned his attention to Blaine, looking into his eyes... just watching him.
"Well I think so" said Tina staring at the two of them.
"Um... oh... yeah Blaine and I are dating!" he said quickly as the bell rang and he and Blaine ran out of homeroom to English, leaving Tina and Mercedes with shocked looks on their faces.
"Um what!?!?!" said Mercedes
"Uh, yeah... Blaine took me for coffee last night and asked me out" said Kurt turning to Blaine and grinning.
Rachel grinned, she was glad. It was nice to see Kurt smile again.
"What?!?! Kurt..." started Mercedes but then looked at Blaine "we'll talk later"
Kurt rolled his eyes he knew what she was going to tell him: That Blaine wasn't good enough for him, that Blaine was beneath them. He didn't care what they thought he really liked Blaine, He felt like he could really fall for him. Blaine was everything he wanted, needed and wanted to be. He felt Blaine shrink next to him, he could feeling him withdrawing.
Blaine's good mood switched instantly, his smile faltered. They had been so nice to him the year before... now they hated him he was sure of it. They'd make Kurt hate him and leave, and then Blaine would have no-one. He pulled his hand from Kurt's and started on the work.
Kurt passed Blaine a note, glancing sideways at him worriedly. He knew what must be running through his mind. Kurt knew that what Mercedes just said upset him terribly.
Babe? You okay?
Yeah, I'm Fine
Blaine wrote back. Feeling guilty about thinking Kurt was going to leave just because his friends disliked him, especially after what he told Blaine when they sung that song.
don't worry about ‘Cedes she's just jealous because she's too scared to ask Sam Evans out <3
I wasn't
please hold my hand again? Yours are so soft
Blaine to Kurt's hand and squeezed it, Kurt squeezed back fighting the urge to kiss the back of Blaine's.
I'm Sorry
Its okay bee
Can I still sit with you at lunch? I understand if not... Tina and Mercedes don't seem to like me much
Fuck ‘em, let's go somewhere special... I have a special place I want to show you
Oh?
yeah... it's my special place
sounds intriguing
The two boys worked holding hand throughout the lesson. They ignore the looks of disgust and comments they received. When the bell rang for the end of English they embraced, Blaine went off to AP maths and Kurt to Home Economics with Mercedes, Tina and Rachel.
"What the hell are you doing Kurt?" said Mercedes when Blaine was out of ear shot "Your crush was cute and we humoured it, but what are you doing actually dating him"
"I'm Being happy" he said, "I'm dating the hottest boy in school"
"He's not one of us Kurt... He'll ruin your rep." said Tina "You could have any other guy in the school at the drop of a hat"
"So what? I don't care about my stupid reputation... what good is it if I'm not myself what does reputation even mean" he said "Blaine is sweet and Kind, he makes me... me again and I like it. He makes me happy, smile and laugh. I don't want just any guy I want him. You should be happy for me."
"You'll lose being at the top" said Mercedes
"I don't fucking care... soon it won't matter." he screamed "I don't fit in with the Cheerios anymore I belong with Blaine"
Mercedes and Tina were shocked and confused. This wasn't Kurt, or rather who they thought Kurt was. They'd never paid much attention to him before he became a cheerio, before he'd become one of them.
Rachel, on the other hand, smiled softly at him, she was proud. This was the Kurt she'd befriended in kindergarten. She'd missed this Kurt, this Kurt was happy... cheerio Kurt wasn't, not really, not since Blaine came around. She knew Blaine made Kurt happy and want to be the old him. She loved Kurt she wanted him happy above everything else he deserved it. Plus Rachel liked Blaine he was a good guy, and sweet and kind.
"Don't you want me to be happy?" he asked as the bell rung signifying break time,
"Yeah... But-"Tina started she stopped midsentence there was no real reason for him not to date Blaine.
"Look I'm gonna date him regardless. He's sweet funny and cute, and I mean dirty cute" said Kurt with a mischievous smirk.
"Who's dirty cute?" asked a voice next to him. He recognised it immediately.
Blaine has seen Kurt walking just ahead of him and ran to catch up. He loved that he could do this now; that he could walk up to Kurt and talk to him without it being weird... he was dating Kurt. That still sounded surreal in his head, Kurt Hummel was his boyfriend.
"Oh... um you are" Kurt blushed.
He looked away from Blaine, trying, unsuccessfully to hide his reddening cheeks. He could feel the blush creeping down his neck; they'd only been dating for a day. Blaine grinned, secretly loving that he made Kurt blushed.
"Well I think you're dirty cute" He hissed in Kurt's ear as he stood on his tiptoes. Kurt's cheeks burned redder.
"Come with me I need to show you something" Kurt hissed back in a harsh whisper.
He took Blaine's hand and ran into an empty classroom, he closed the door behind them and pushed Blaine up against the door kissing him hungrily. Blaine whimpered slightly and tensed and kissed Kurt back. He knew he'd done nothing wrong and he knew Kurt would never hurt him, he knew Kurt wasn't going to use this to punish him for the comment he made. But he couldn't help how his body reacted. Kurt sensed that there was something wrong, and reluctantly broke the kiss. Blaine looked down at his feet ashamed, he'd done something wrong... he looked almost scared.
"Bee? What's wrong?" said Kurt tilting Blaine's chin up so he could look in Blaine's beautiful amber eyes, it upset him to see the pain and fear hidden in them.
"I'm sorry... did, did I do something wrong?" said Blaine pulling his sleeves down.
"Blaine... what's up?"
"S-s-sorry" said Blaine his eyes pooling with tears.
"Blaine?" said Kurt "why do you keep saying sorry... you did nothing wrong... something was bothering you, was it the kiss? Was it too fast?"
"No, no it wasn't you... the kiss, the kiss was amazing" said Blaine, wringing his hands "It's just... he used to d-d-do that.... he used to make me... he thought it was romantic... he hurt me...I'm sorry"
"Oh, Bee, I'm so sorry I didn't mea-" started Kurt, but he was silenced by Blaine pressing his lips softly to Kurt's.
"The kiss was perfect, absolutely perfect baby... My body reacted...I'm sorry"
Kurt felt a surge of anger. He hated Jermaine for doing this to Blaine, for making him scared, for making him feel like this. He hated that Blaine had been hurt by this supposed friend. It made him sick to think anyone could do anything to harm Blaine he was the sweetest, kindest, most selfless person in the world. Blaine deserved much better than Jermaine Thoms, he deserved the best and damn it Kurt was going to give it to him or at least die trying.
"Don't be sorry Bee, its not your fault" said Kurt, comfortingly "I just need to be careful... I'm sorry."
"Yeah... I know its not... my therapist keeps telling me it isn't..." said Blaine staring at his feet "She's helping me with this... "
"Therapist?" said Kurt
He was getting a little madder at Jermaine now. He'd really upset Blaine, so much that he needed a therapist? This was not okay.
"Yeah, I started seeing when the nightmares started..." said Blaine, really wishing he wasn't in school when he was telling Kurt this.
"Nightmares? Oh Blaine, I'm so sorry..." said Kurt putting his arm around Blaine and pulling him close, not wanting to let go... he knew how bad nightmares could be.
"yeah they got pretty bad... I woke in cold sweats... sorry, I'm probably upsetting you"
"It's not your fault bee, I wish I could have done more to stop him... and we do need to talk about this. The last thing I want to do is make you scared and hurt you..."
"You wont I know you wont..." said Blaine "You saved me... helped me. I wouldn't let you do more... he was violent, I didn't want you to get hurt not because of me"
"I just feel bad, I knew something was going on, but I didn't fight when you pushed me away"
"I shouldn't have done that... "
"It's in the past now Bee... come on lets get to French"
Blaine nodded.
"I'm sorry"
"Stop apologising baby, its fine... I promise" said Kurt pulling Blaine into a hug and kissing his curls.
Blaine composed himself and the two headed to French, They didn't talk much during class Kurt kept casting Blaine, worried and concerned looks. He felt really bad that he didn't try hard to help Blaine, he knew something was up and he did nothing... He knew Blaine wasn't happy and he did nothing. He really wished he could take away Blaine's pain.
The bell rang for Lunch, they grabbed a couple of sandwiches from the canteen and Kurt led Blaine to a little place under the east staircase. Kurt used to hide down here, before he met Quinn, Santana and Brittany, when the bullying started. It was his own little cave where he felt safe and happy.
"Baby? why are we under the stairs?" asked Blaine
"It's my special place...my safe place." said Kurt sitting down, "I used to hide down here when I got bullied..."
Kurt sniffed slightly as the memories resurfaced the slushies, and the names... the death threats.
"Hey, baby..."said Blaine kneeling down "You okay?"
"Just... Just memories" said Kurt, smiling a small smile
"Do you want to talk? We can if you like? Or we can just sit here together"
"Can we talk?"
"Of course baby"
Blaine sat down next to Kurt and put his arm around him, kissed his cheek. They ate their dinner together Kurt talking telling Blaine about the bullies. Blaine held Kurt close, he felt bad ... he'd always complained about his problems to Kurt but they never really spoke about Kurt. When Blaine thought about it he actually didn't know much about Kurt before he became a cheerio... no-one did, except Rachel.
"thank you Blaine," said Kurt
"You're welcome, you've done so much for me... All I did was listen"
"And that's all I needed" said Kurt leaning in to kiss Blaine's lips softly.
Blaine kissed back, gently, He felt Kurt smile against his lips, and Blaine smiled back. Kurt lent further into Blaine until he was lying flat on his back, and deepen the kiss cupping Blaine's cheek, he swiped his tongue over Blaine's lower lip and sucked on it slightly. Blaine let out a throaty moan as Kurt pressed his thigh between Blaine's legs, grinding gently against his hip.
Then the bell rang.
"damn" said Kurt "We cant catch a break can we?"
"Later baby, the backseat of your car looks perfect for making out"
"Or my bed that's quite comfy... you could come back to mine"
"I like that idea" said Blaine with a smile.
Both boys took a moment to cool off before heading off to their next classes.
~~~
They met up outside the choir room; the glee club were all inside.
"You ready Kurt?" Blaine asked, knowing he must be nervous.
"I think so..." said Kurt, he was panicking. He was sure they'd still all hate him, what if they wouldn't let him audition, he'd practiced his apology all night... he hoped they'd accept it.
"You'll knock ‘em dead. You're amazing you have nothing to worry about" said Blaine smiling.
"They'll still hate me... I was an asshole... I tried not to change but I did... I left them they needed me and I left maybe I shouldn't audition."
"Baby... you're amazing and if you want to join, they'll let you... I'm sure." Said Blaine, standing on his tiptoes and kissing Kurt softly.
They entered the choir room, hands linked, the seniors glared at Kurt. Kurt shrunk under their glares, he felt so guilty for leaving them, abandoning them. Blaine squeezed Kurt's hand reassuringly and smiled, this made Kurt relax slightly.
All the seniors, Mike Chang- Tina's Boyfriend- Finn Hudson- Rachel's boyfriend and Kurt's Brother in Law- Brittany Santana Quinn and Sam, were all sat at the back of the room-All eyes fixated on Kurt. There were a few faces Kurt didn't recognise, a tall guy with a Bieber cut, sat just in front of Mike Chang, he had his arm around a thin brunette girl and in the front row sat three girls who stared.
The three girls in front couldn't believe that Blaine Anderson AND Kurt Hummel were in their glee club. Blaine was a legend in Glee, he helped them get to Nationals last year, and Kurt Hummel... need they say more he was the most popular kid in school.
"um, hi" said Kurt quietly looking at his feet "I know I owe you guys an apology" he continued looking up at the seniors "I'm sorry... I never meant to change ore leave or hurt any of you... I wanted to belong... to fit in... Its only recently" he glanced at Blaine "that I've realised that I belong and fit in here with you guys. I'm so, so sorry I left I regretted it since the day I did... I'd understand if not, but I'd like to audition and re-join you guys this year"
"NO!" said Santana "We don't want you! We don't need someone who abandoned us"
"Yeah... yeah I understand" he said, turning to leave, Blaine kept a hold of his hand trying to stop him.
"Santana! Anyone who wants to audition can audition" said Mr. Schuster "That's always been our rule! Regardless of what happened Kurt was an amazing part of this group."
"But, but Mr. Schue we lost regionals because of him!" she said.
"Santana! Kurt is auditioning" Said Mr. Schue
She sat back sulkily none of the seniors looked happy with this decision.
"Kurt, you have the floor" He said, smiling he was glad Kurt was back, He was one of the best singers in the school.
"Um, thank you Mr. Schuster" said Kurt
Blaine sat in the front row ask Kurt began to sing Being Alive from Company, he sung it flawlessly. When he was finished, Blaine, the five freshmen and Mr Schuster gave him a standing ovation. Even the seniors had to admit he still had an amazing voice, and they needed his voice. They settled down for the first class of the year as Kurt walked to take his seat next to Blaine. They started looking at set list ideas for sectionals.
"You were incredible" Whispered Blaine "you blew them away"
"Thank you..." said Kurt, biting back on a comment more suited for when they were alone.
"Okay guys remember we're singing at the pep rally on Saturday" said Mr Schue as the senior groaned "so extra practice every day this week"
They filed out one by one, Kurt and Blaine were about to leave when they were stopped by the freshmen who were sat on the front row. The tallest of the three had reddish hair; she was stood directly in front of Kurt and Blaine, looking a little nervous. The other two girls were stood a bit further away.
"Um, Hi" said the one stood in front of them, the other two giggled and whispered between them. She turned and glared at them.
"Hello" said Kurt, Smiling. The girl blushed.
"Um Kurt, we just wanted to say, um, hi and that you have a great voice" she said sounding nervous.
"Um, thank you..." said Kurt, his cheeks coloured slightly.
"Um, I'm Izzie and these are my friends Nikoline and Nihal" she said gesturing to the other two girls.
"You were amazing" said Nikoline; she had dark brown hair with what looked like an outgrown blonde hair dye.
"Yeah I wish I could sing like that, it was beautiful" said Nihal she had dark brown hair.
"That's sweet girl's thank you" said Kurt, linking his arm with Blaine's "We should get going, it was nice talking to you, it's nice to know that some people like me... We'll see you tomorrow"
He gave them a small wave as he and Blaine left the choir room. The three girls giggled and chatted about how Kurt Hummel, Head cheerleader just talked to them. When Kurt and Blaine reached Kurt's car he sighed heavily.
"They still hate me"
"It'll get better baby... you just have to win back their trust"
"Yeah... I have a lot of work to do... this is gonna be harder than I thought" Kurt admitted leaning back against the bonnet of his car.
Blaine went and sat next to Kurt wrapping his arm around him tightly.
"You can do it baby, I'm sure." said Blaine kissing Kurt's cheek, Kurt smiled and rested his head on Blaine's shoulder.
"I admire your optimism Mr Blaine Theodore Anderson" he said putting his arm around Blaine's waist and pulling him to his hip.
"It's what keeps me going" said Blaine, sadness in his voice, he looked at Kurt and smiled. "Anyway should we get home?"
"Back to mine?"
"Yeah" said Blaine with a smile.
They both climbed in to Kurt's Navigator and drove back to Kurt's house. They pulled up outside, Kurt walked Blaine up the drive and led him inside and up to his bedroom and across to his bed and sitting them down. Kurt looked and Blaine, staring at his lips, he didn't want to trigger Blaine again surprising him by kissing him.
Blaine looked back at Kurt, leaning in and pressing his lips to Kurt's; he reached up and cupped Kurt's cheek deepening the kiss. Kurt moaned softly and laid back on the bed not breaking the kiss with Blaine, Blaine rolled them over so he was straddling Kurt. He began kissing along Kurt's jaw line and down Kurt's neck. Kurt's hands found their way down Blaine's sides and round to his ass, Blaine grinded against Kurt's hip his cock growing hard and pressing against his zipper. He could feel Kurt's erection through his cheerleader pants, Blaine started to pull at the hem of Kurt's shirt as Kurt ripped Blaine's open some of the buttons popping off. Blaine pulled Kurt's shirt over his head a Kurt pulled him down in to a hungry kiss; their bodies flush against each other. Kurt pushed Blaine's shirt of his shoulders and threw it across the room. Kurt wrapped his legs around Blaine's waist craving friction.
"Mmm Blaine" moaned Kurt, wanting, needing more.
"You taste so good baby" panted Blaine.
"Mmm you too"
Suddenly they heard the door open and close. Kurt closed his eyes and threw his head back.
"Kurt Kiddo you home?" said Burt.
"Yeah dad we'll be right down" said Kurt, before kissing Blaine once more...
"We?"
"Um, yeah, I have Blaine over, he's helping me study" Kurt lied. "We should cool off, he'll only come up here" he whispered to Blaine.
Blaine nodded.
"What was I helping you study?" said Blaine teasingly rolling off Kurt.
"Mmm Anatomy" said Kurt slipping his shirt back on.
"I liked that study session; we'll have to do it again sometime. Um baby where did you put my shirt?"
"Oh it's over there" said Kurt getting up and walking somewhat uncomfortably to his desk where Blaine's shirt was draped over his lamp. He tossed it back to Blaine.
"Thanks" said Blaine smiling, "Um baby, we may have a slight problem?"
"Yeah?"
"Yeah you ripped off half my buttons" said Blaine laughing.
"Well that's what you get for being so sexy and kissing my neck" said Kurt with a small laugh.
"Could I borrow one of yours?"
"Here wear this" Kurt said as he tossed Blaine his favourite hoodie.
"Mmm, Kurty" Blaine grinned slipping it on over his head "just so you know this means were officially 100% dating now and you're not getting this hoodie back"
"Am I not?" said Kurt throwing his arms around Blaine's neck and kissing him softly.
"Nope. Mmm, you're a good kisser"
"You're not too bad yourself...sir" Kurt smiled against Blaine's lips.
"Mmm," said Blaine.
"Come on babe, let's go"
"Damn"
Kurt laughed and Pulled Blaine along as they headed down stairs. Kurt led Blaine into the kitchen, his dad was starting dinner.
"Hey Dad" said Kurt.
"Hey Kiddo, and you must be Blaine" said Burt extending his hand to Blaine, Blaine flinched ever so slightly, Burt threw him an odd look, Blaine took Burt's hand and shook it.
"Um, H-hello Mr Hummel...N-nice to meet y-you"
"No need to be so nervous son" Burt laughed. "Just take care of my boy..."
"y-y-yeah, I will Mr Hummel" said Blaine.
"You staying for dinner?"
"Um, y-yeah Thank you..." said Blaine thinking it saves him from ordering takeaway meaning he can spend more money on the date on Friday.
"Okay kiddo, it'll be ready soon." He said and went on cooking.
Blaine and Kurt helped; Carole and Finn came home just before dinner was ready. They ate together; everyone was so friendly to Blaine. They talked to each other about their days and supported each other. Blaine just sat and watched, trying to imagine what it would be like if his family was like this. Happy and talk to each other, Kurt's dad was so nice and friendly and supportive. He loved Kurt. At the end of the meal Blaine thanked them all and bid Burt, Carole and Finn good bye.
~~~
"Well my dad seems to like you..." said Kurt, breaking the silence; Blaine was deep in thought.
"You think... he kept giving me this odd looks"
"Well you are dating his son; I guess he was just making sure you're a good guy."
"Yeah I guess" said Blaine as they pulled up outside his house. "I'll pick you up tomorrow, same time?"
"Yeah, sounds good Baby"
Blaine kissed Kurt softly and crept into his house, he curled up in bed, and sobbed slightly slowly falling asleep.
~~~
Kurt arrived back home.
"Hey Kiddo, what did you say Blaine's last name was?" asked Burt.
"Anderson dad, why?" Said Kurt
"No reason... I was just wondering" Burt lied, he knew Blaine looked vaguely familiar...
Blaine awoke the next morning, a huge smile on his face. Yesterday actually happened, he was really the boyfriend of the Kurt Hummel- Kurt Hummel was Blaine Anderson's boyfriend. "Morning Baby" said Blaine cheerily.
"You're far too cheery for six twenty in the morning babe" said Kurt smiling all the same
"I'm just happy to see you...sorry... I'll um...yeah" said Blaine, He pulled back slightly, worried he'd upset Kurt.
"Hey, Hey come back" said Kurt softly, feeling Blaine tense "I'm not done hugging you"
Blaine smiled and relaxed back into Kurt, he kissed Kurt's cheek softly, sniffed his neck. He reminded himself that he was safe with Kurt; Kurt wouldn't hit him or hurt him.
"You missed" Kurt grinned.
"Huh?"
"You missed" he repeated.
"What?" Blaine said confused, he'd Kissed Kurt hadn't he?
Kurt grinned, Blaine was adorable, and he pressed his lips softly to Blaine's. He felt Blaine's lips smile against his before kissing him back slowly.
"Oh I missed" said Blaine looking up into Kurt's eyes, smiling.
"Yeah" said Kurt getting lost slightly in Blaine's eyes "so... breakfast?"
"Yeah..." said Blaine dreamily.
Blaine climbed in to Kurt's car after sharing one last chaste kiss and they headed to the Lima Bean They sat down with their coffee and breakfast of oatmeal and dried fruits. They spent the next hour or so chatting, they talked about how they slept and what they expected in their classes today.
"Uh, yeah... Blaine took me for coffee last night and asked me out" said Kurt turning to Blaine and grinning.
Rachel grinned, she was glad. It was nice to see Kurt smile again.
"What?!?! Kurt..." started Mercedes but then looked at Blaine "we'll talk later"
Babe? You okay?
Yeah, I'm Fine
Blaine wrote back. Feeling guilty about thinking Kurt was going to leave just because his friends disliked him, especially after what he told Blaine when they sung that song.
don't worry about ‘Cedes she's just jealous because she's too scared to ask Sam Evans out <3
I wasn't
please hold my hand again? Yours are so soft
Blaine to Kurt's hand and squeezed it, Kurt squeezed back fighting the urge to kiss the back of Blaine's.
I'm Sorry
Its okay bee
Can I still sit with you at lunch? I understand if not... Tina and Mercedes don't seem to like me much
Fuck ‘em, let's go somewhere special... I have a special place I want to show you
Oh?
yeah... it's my special place
sounds intriguing
The two boys worked holding hand throughout the lesson. They ignore the looks of disgust and comments they received. When the bell rang for the end of English they embraced, Blaine went off to AP maths and Kurt to Home Economics with Mercedes, Tina and Rachel.
"What the hell are you doing Kurt?" said Mercedes when Blaine was out of ear shot "Your crush was cute and we humoured it, but what are you doing actually dating him"
"I'm Being happy" he said, "I'm dating the hottest boy in school"
"He's not one of us Kurt... He'll ruin your rep." said Tina "You could have any other guy in the school at the drop of a hat"
"So what? I don't care about my stupid reputation... what good is it if I'm not myself what does reputation even mean" he said "Blaine is sweet and Kind, he makes me... me again and I like it. He makes me happy, smile and laugh. I don't want just any guy I want him. You should be happy for me."
"You'll lose being at the top" said Mercedes
"I don't fucking care... soon it won't matter." he screamed "I don't fit in with the Cheerios anymore I belong with Blaine"
Mercedes and Tina were shocked and confused. This wasn't Kurt, or rather who they thought Kurt was. They'd never paid much attention to him before he became a cheerio, before he'd become one of them.
Rachel, on the other hand, smiled softly at him, she was proud. This was the Kurt she'd befriended in kindergarten. She'd missed this Kurt, this Kurt was happy... cheerio Kurt wasn't, not really, not since Blaine came around. She knew Blaine made Kurt happy and want to be the old him. She loved Kurt she wanted him happy above everything else he deserved it. Plus Rachel liked Blaine he was a good guy, and sweet and kind.
"Don't you want me to be happy?" he asked as the bell rung signifying break time,
"Yeah... But-"Tina started she stopped midsentence there was no real reason for him not to date Blaine.
"Look I'm gonna date him regardless. He's sweet funny and cute, and I mean dirty cute" said Kurt with a mischievous smirk.
"Who's dirty cute?" asked a voice next to him. He recognised it immediately.
Blaine has seen Kurt walking just ahead of him and ran to catch up. He loved that he could do this now; that he could walk up to Kurt and talk to him without it being weird... he was dating Kurt. That still sounded surreal in his head, Kurt Hummel was his boyfriend.
"Oh... um you are" Kurt blushed.
He looked away from Blaine, trying, unsuccessfully to hide his reddening cheeks. He could feel the blush creeping down his neck; they'd only been dating for a day. Blaine grinned, secretly loving that he made Kurt blushed.
"Well I think you're dirty cute" He hissed in Kurt's ear as he stood on his tiptoes. Kurt's cheeks burned redder.
"Come with me I need to show you something" Kurt hissed back in a harsh whisper.
He took Blaine's hand and ran into an empty classroom, he closed the door behind them and pushed Blaine up against the door kissing him hungrily. Blaine whimpered slightly and tensed and kissed Kurt back. He knew he'd done nothing wrong and he knew Kurt would never hurt him, he knew Kurt wasn't going to use this to punish him for the comment he made. But he couldn't help how his body reacted. Kurt sensed that there was something wrong, and reluctantly broke the kiss. Blaine looked down at his feet ashamed, he'd done something wrong... he looked almost scared.
"Bee? What's wrong?" said Kurt tilting Blaine's chin up so he could look in Blaine's beautiful amber eyes, it upset him to see the pain and fear hidden in them.
"I'm sorry... did, did I do something wrong?" said Blaine pulling his sleeves down.
"Blaine... what's up?"
"S-s-sorry" said Blaine his eyes pooling with tears.
"Blaine?" said Kurt "why do you keep saying sorry... you did nothing wrong... something was bothering you, was it the kiss? Was it too fast?"
"No, no it wasn't you... the kiss, the kiss was amazing" said Blaine, wringing his hands "It's just... he used to d-d-do that.... he used to make me... he thought it was romantic... he hurt me...I'm sorry"
"Oh, Bee, I'm so sorry I didn't mea-" started Kurt, but he was silenced by Blaine pressing his lips softly to Kurt's.
"The kiss was perfect, absolutely perfect baby... My body reacted...I'm sorry"
Kurt felt a surge of anger. He hated Jermaine for doing this to Blaine, for making him scared, for making him feel like this. He hated that Blaine had been hurt by this supposed friend. It made him sick to think anyone could do anything to harm Blaine he was the sweetest, kindest, most selfless person in the world. Blaine deserved much better than Jermaine Thoms, he deserved the best and damn it Kurt was going to give it to him or at least die trying.
"Don't be sorry Bee, its not your fault" said Kurt, comfortingly "I just need to be careful... I'm sorry."
"Yeah... I know its not... my therapist keeps telling me it isn't..." said Blaine staring at his feet "She's helping me with this... "
"Therapist?" said Kurt
He was getting a little madder at Jermaine now. He'd really upset Blaine, so much that he needed a therapist? This was not okay.
"Yeah, I started seeing when the nightmares started..." said Blaine, really wishing he wasn't in school when he was telling Kurt this.
"Nightmares? Oh Blaine, I'm so sorry..." said Kurt putting his arm around Blaine and pulling him close, not wanting to let go... he knew how bad nightmares could be.
"yeah they got pretty bad... I woke in cold sweats... sorry, I'm probably upsetting you"
"It's not your fault bee, I wish I could have done more to stop him... and we do need to talk about this. The last thing I want to do is make you scared and hurt you..."
"You wont I know you wont..." said Blaine "You saved me... helped me. I wouldn't let you do more... he was violent, I didn't want you to get hurt not because of me"
"I just feel bad, I knew something was going on, but I didn't fight when you pushed me away"
"I shouldn't have done that... "
"It's in the past now Bee... come on lets get to French"
Blaine nodded.
"I'm sorry"
"Stop apologising baby, its fine... I promise" said Kurt pulling Blaine into a hug and kissing his curls.
Blaine composed himself and the two headed to French, They didn't talk much during class Kurt kept casting Blaine, worried and concerned looks. He felt really bad that he didn't try hard to help Blaine, he knew something was up and he did nothing... He knew Blaine wasn't happy and he did nothing. He really wished he could take away Blaine's pain.
The bell rang for Lunch, they grabbed a couple of sandwiches from the canteen and Kurt led Blaine to a little place under the east staircase. Kurt used to hide down here, before he met Quinn, Santana and Brittany, when the bullying started. It was his own little cave where he felt safe and happy.
"Baby? why are we under the stairs?" asked Blaine
"It's my special place...my safe place." said Kurt sitting down, "I used to hide down here when I got bullied..."
Kurt sniffed slightly as the memories resurfaced the slushies, and the names... the death threats.
"Hey, baby..."said Blaine kneeling down "You okay?"
"Just... Just memories" said Kurt, smiling a small smile
"Do you want to talk? We can if you like? Or we can just sit here together"
"Can we talk?"
"Of course baby"
Blaine sat down next to Kurt and put his arm around him, kissed his cheek. They ate their dinner together Kurt talking telling Blaine about the bullies. Blaine held Kurt close, he felt bad ... he'd always complained about his problems to Kurt but they never really spoke about Kurt. When Blaine thought about it he actually didn't know much about Kurt before he became a cheerio... no-one did, except Rachel.
"thank you Blaine," said Kurt
"You're welcome, you've done so much for me... All I did was listen"
"And that's all I needed" said Kurt leaning in to kiss Blaine's lips softly.
Blaine kissed back, gently, He felt Kurt smile against his lips, and Blaine smiled back. Kurt lent further into Blaine until he was lying flat on his back, and deepen the kiss cupping Blaine's cheek, he swiped his tongue over Blaine's lower lip and sucked on it slightly. Blaine let out a throaty moan as Kurt pressed his thigh between Blaine's legs, grinding gently against his hip.
Then the bell rang.
"damn" said Kurt "We cant catch a break can we?"
"Later baby, the backseat of your car looks perfect for making out"
"Or my bed that's quite comfy... you could come back to mine"
"I like that idea" said Blaine with a smile.
Both boys took a moment to cool off before heading off to their next classes.
~~~
They met up outside the choir room; the glee club were all inside.
"You ready Kurt?" Blaine asked, knowing he must be nervous.
"I think so..." said Kurt, he was panicking. He was sure they'd still all hate him, what if they wouldn't let him audition, he'd practiced his apology all night... he hoped they'd accept it.
"You'll knock ‘em dead. You're amazing you have nothing to worry about" said Blaine smiling.
"They'll still hate me... I was an asshole... I tried not to change but I did... I left them they needed me and I left maybe I shouldn't audition."
"Baby... you're amazing and if you want to join, they'll let you... I'm sure." Said Blaine, standing on his tiptoes and kissing Kurt softly.
They entered the choir room, hands linked, the seniors glared at Kurt. Kurt shrunk under their glares, he felt so guilty for leaving them, abandoning them. Blaine squeezed Kurt's hand reassuringly and smiled, this made Kurt relax slightly.
All the seniors, Mike Chang- Tina's Boyfriend- Finn Hudson- Rachel's boyfriend and Kurt's Brother in Law- Brittany Santana Quinn and Sam, were all sat at the back of the room-All eyes fixated on Kurt. There were a few faces Kurt didn't recognise, a tall guy with a Bieber cut, sat just in front of Mike Chang, he had his arm around a thin brunette girl and in the front row sat three girls who stared.
The three girls in front couldn't believe that Blaine Anderson AND Kurt Hummel were in their glee club. Blaine was a legend in Glee, he helped them get to Nationals last year, and Kurt Hummel... need they say more he was the most popular kid in school.
"um, hi" said Kurt quietly looking at his feet "I know I owe you guys an apology" he continued looking up at the seniors "I'm sorry... I never meant to change ore leave or hurt any of you... I wanted to belong... to fit in... Its only recently" he glanced at Blaine "that I've realised that I belong and fit in here with you guys. I'm so, so sorry I left I regretted it since the day I did... I'd understand if not, but I'd like to audition and re-join you guys this year"
"NO!" said Santana "We don't want you! We don't need someone who abandoned us"
"Yeah... yeah I understand" he said, turning to leave, Blaine kept a hold of his hand trying to stop him.
"Santana! Anyone who wants to audition can audition" said Mr. Schuster "That's always been our rule! Regardless of what happened Kurt was an amazing part of this group."
"But, but Mr. Schue we lost regionals because of him!" she said.
"Santana! Kurt is auditioning" Said Mr. Schue
She sat back sulkily none of the seniors looked happy with this decision.
"Kurt, you have the floor" He said, smiling he was glad Kurt was back, He was one of the best singers in the school.
"Um, thank you Mr. Schuster" said Kurt
Blaine sat in the front row ask Kurt began to sing Being Alive from Company, he sung it flawlessly. When he was finished, Blaine, the five freshmen and Mr Schuster gave him a standing ovation. Even the seniors had to admit he still had an amazing voice, and they needed his voice. They settled down for the first class of the year as Kurt walked to take his seat next to Blaine. They started looking at set list ideas for sectionals.
"You were incredible" Whispered Blaine "you blew them away"
"Thank you..." said Kurt, biting back on a comment more suited for when they were alone.
"Okay guys remember we're singing at the pep rally on Saturday" said Mr Schue as the senior groaned "so extra practice every day this week"
They filed out one by one, Kurt and Blaine were about to leave when they were stopped by the freshmen who were sat on the front row. The tallest of the three had reddish hair; she was stood directly in front of Kurt and Blaine, looking a little nervous. The other two girls were stood a bit further away.
"Um, Hi" said the one stood in front of them, the other two giggled and whispered between them. She turned and glared at them.
"Hello" said Kurt, Smiling. The girl blushed.
"Um Kurt, we just wanted to say, um, hi and that you have a great voice" she said sounding nervous.
"Um, thank you..." said Kurt, his cheeks coloured slightly.
"Um, I'm Izzie and these are my friends Nikoline and Nihal" she said gesturing to the other two girls.
"You were amazing" said Nikoline; she had dark brown hair with what looked like an outgrown blonde hair dye.
"Yeah I wish I could sing like that, it was beautiful" said Nihal she had dark brown hair.
"That's sweet girl's thank you" said Kurt, linking his arm with Blaine's "We should get going, it was nice talking to you, it's nice to know that some people like me... We'll see you tomorrow"
He gave them a small wave as he and Blaine left the choir room. The three girls giggled and chatted about how Kurt Hummel, Head cheerleader just talked to them. When Kurt and Blaine reached Kurt's car he sighed heavily.
"They still hate me"
"It'll get better baby... you just have to win back their trust"
"Yeah... I have a lot of work to do... this is gonna be harder than I thought" Kurt admitted leaning back against the bonnet of his car.
Blaine went and sat next to Kurt wrapping his arm around him tightly.
"You can do it baby, I'm sure." said Blaine kissing Kurt's cheek, Kurt smiled and rested his head on Blaine's shoulder.
"I admire your optimism Mr Blaine Theodore Anderson" he said putting his arm around Blaine's waist and pulling him to his hip.
"It's what keeps me going" said Blaine, sadness in his voice, he looked at Kurt and smiled. "Anyway should we get home?"
"Back to mine?"
"Yeah" said Blaine with a smile.
They both climbed in to Kurt's Navigator and drove back to Kurt's house. They pulled up outside, Kurt walked Blaine up the drive and led him inside and up to his bedroom and across to his bed and sitting them down. Kurt looked and Blaine, staring at his lips, he didn't want to trigger Blaine again surprising him by kissing him.
Blaine looked back at Kurt, leaning in and pressing his lips to Kurt's; he reached up and cupped Kurt's cheek deepening the kiss. Kurt moaned softly and laid back on the bed not breaking the kiss with Blaine, Blaine rolled them over so he was straddling Kurt. He began kissing along Kurt's jaw line and down Kurt's neck. Kurt's hands found their way down Blaine's sides and round to his ass, Blaine grinded against Kurt's hip his cock growing hard and pressing against his zipper. He could feel Kurt's erection through his cheerleader pants, Blaine started to pull at the hem of Kurt's shirt as Kurt ripped Blaine's open some of the buttons popping off. Blaine pulled Kurt's shirt over his head a Kurt pulled him down in to a hungry kiss; their bodies flush against each other. Kurt pushed Blaine's shirt of his shoulders and threw it across the room. Kurt wrapped his legs around Blaine's waist craving friction.
"Mmm Blaine" moaned Kurt, wanting, needing more.
"You taste so good baby" panted Blaine.
"Mmm you too"
Suddenly they heard the door open and close. Kurt closed his eyes and threw his head back.
"Kurt Kiddo you home?" said Burt.
"Yeah dad we'll be right down" said Kurt, before kissing Blaine once more...
"We?"
"Um, yeah, I have Blaine over, he's helping me study" Kurt lied. "We should cool off, he'll only come up here" he whispered to Blaine.
Blaine nodded.
"What was I helping you study?" said Blaine teasingly rolling off Kurt.
"Mmm Anatomy" said Kurt slipping his shirt back on.
"I liked that study session; we'll have to do it again sometime. Um baby where did you put my shirt?"
"Oh it's over there" said Kurt getting up and walking somewhat uncomfortably to his desk where Blaine's shirt was draped over his lamp. He tossed it back to Blaine.
"Thanks" said Blaine smiling, "Um baby, we may have a slight problem?"
"Yeah?"
"Yeah you ripped off half my buttons" said Blaine laughing.
"Well that's what you get for being so sexy and kissing my neck" said Kurt with a small laugh.
"Could I borrow one of yours?"
"Here wear this" Kurt said as he tossed Blaine his favourite hoodie.
"Mmm, Kurty" Blaine grinned slipping it on over his head "just so you know this means were officially 100% dating now and you're not getting this hoodie back"
"Am I not?" said Kurt throwing his arms around Blaine's neck and kissing him softly.
"Nope. Mmm, you're a good kisser"
"You're not too bad yourself...sir" Kurt smiled against Blaine's lips.
"Mmm," said Blaine.
"Come on babe, let's go"
"Damn"
Kurt laughed and Pulled Blaine along as they headed down stairs. Kurt led Blaine into the kitchen, his dad was starting dinner.
"Hey Dad" said Kurt.
"Hey Kiddo, and you must be Blaine" said Burt extending his hand to Blaine, Blaine flinched ever so slightly, Burt threw him an odd look, Blaine took Burt's hand and shook it.
"Um, H-hello Mr Hummel...N-nice to meet y-you"
"No need to be so nervous son" Burt laughed. "Just take care of my boy..."
"y-y-yeah, I will Mr Hummel" said Blaine.
"You staying for dinner?"
"Um, y-yeah Thank you..." said Blaine thinking it saves him from ordering takeaway meaning he can spend more money on the date on Friday.
"Okay kiddo, it'll be ready soon." He said and went on cooking.
Blaine and Kurt helped; Carole and Finn came home just before dinner was ready. They ate together; everyone was so friendly to Blaine. They talked to each other about their days and supported each other. Blaine just sat and watched, trying to imagine what it would be like if his family was like this. Happy and talk to each other, Kurt's dad was so nice and friendly and supportive. He loved Kurt. At the end of the meal Blaine thanked them all and bid Burt, Carole and Finn good bye.
~~~
"Well my dad seems to like you..." said Kurt, breaking the silence; Blaine was deep in thought.
"You think... he kept giving me this odd looks"
"Well you are dating his son; I guess he was just making sure you're a good guy."
"Yeah I guess" said Blaine as they pulled up outside his house. "I'll pick you up tomorrow, same time?"
"Yeah, sounds good Baby"
Blaine kissed Kurt softly and crept into his house, he curled up in bed, and sobbed slightly slowly falling asleep.
~~~
Kurt arrived back home.
"Hey Kiddo, what did you say Blaine's last name was?" asked Burt.
"Anderson dad, why?" Said Kurt
"No reason... I was just wondering" Burt lied, he knew Blaine looked vaguely familiar...
