When Kurt got home from school he kept constantly checking his phone, after he finished his homework he lay on he’s bed staring at his phone, it was five to five and he was anxiously a
Waited for a call from his new best friend… he needs to tell him the news.

At ten past five, the beginning chords of Not Alone began to play… Kurt answered the phone immediately

“Hi Blaine!” said Kurt

“Well hello, someone sounds excited” laughed Blaine

“I have news… 1) I watched ALL of A Very Potter Musical…”

“And what cha think?”

“I LOVED IT” shouted Kurt.

“Okay what else has happened to you in the past 24 hours?”

“I started watching the sequel and…”

“And what?”

“I played the piano again… I started playing ‘Don’t Cry for Me Argentina’ and sang slightly… I really missed it, the song you sung it made me think about trying it again… I thought that it’d just bring back bad memories of her funeral… but it made me feel happier.”

“That’s really good Kurt good progress… I’m so glad you’re happy again”

“Yeah I’m glad too, are we still meeting tomorrow at four?” asked Kurt somewhat nervously.

“Yeah of course… erm should we do something so we know who each other are? You know it’s been a while, I’ll be the one in the blue blazer”

“Okay, like the one you and the choir wore at my mom’s funeral?”

“Yeah, just like that one only bigger” Blaine laughed Kurt like hearing Blaine Laugh “I’ve grown a bit since then not much but I have… promise”

“Here’s a question, what is Warblers’ Practice? You said you had Warblers’ Practice, I’m just curious”

“Oh The Warblers is the name of Dalton’s Glee Club, we’re a show choir”

“Oh really, I’m in McKinley’s Glee Club, we’re called New Directions”

“Nude Erections!?!?” said Blaine incredulously “That’s what you are called?”

“No, Blaine” Kurt Laughed “NEW- DIRECTIONS”

“Oooooohhh… woops, I have to go dinner is being called and if I don’t go down soon there’ll be no more cake”

That night again Kurt sat at the piano and began to play, he’d printed off the sheet music for ‘Not Alone’ the song that Blaine had sung to him the previous evening and he began to play… the sound of the chords filled the house, Burt heard them and walked silently in to the room, a stood staring at his little boy playing the piano, it was so beautiful… and then he began to sing, occasionally broken by sobs, tears began to roll down Burt's cheeks, because he swore that Kurt was turning more and more into his mother, it was like Elizabeth was sat at that piano, she was still with them, she lived on in Kurt.
