Kurt and Blaine were on a couples retreat to Paris for Valentine’s Day… they had been out for a romantic dinner at a small restaurant overlooking the Seine, and were taking a walk around the Eiffel Tower before retiring to their hotel room.

“Paris really is beautiful isn’t it?” asked Blaine, enjoying the atmosphere he loved spending time with his boyfriend… they were in Paris, Paris the city of love, Blaine loved Kurt… he had decided that when they were back in New York… he was going to propose.

“Yeah it is” Kurt said checking his watch for the billionth time.

“Is everything okay Kurt? You keep checking your watch” he was starting to worry; Kurt never worried about time… was he expecting a call or something? Maybe it was that fashion editor job he applied for in back home in New York, he’d be so happy if he got it.

“Yeah, yeah everything’s fine” He replied frantically patting his pockets and sighing.

“You seem nervous are you sure you okay?”

It was almost ten and they were stood directly under the Eiffel Tower. Kurt’s eyes were shinning with tears when he took Blaine’s hand, and got down on one knee.

“Blaine… I love you, you been here for me for 14 years, through everything, you stood by me when I though no one cared… you are my world my everything… you were my knight in tattered armour… and I want to spend the rest of my life trying to make you happy, like you have me for all these years” just as the lights turned the Eiffel Tower, lighting up the sky. Kurt held out the little tiffany’s box

“Will you do the honour of becoming my husband?”

Kurt knelt there the small tiffany’s box open revealing a simple silver band. The light from the Eiffel lit up his face he was crying, he looked so happy, like he’d been waiting his entire life just to do this

“Yes of course I will, I love you… my damsel in distress” tears rolled down his cheeks, he wanted spend the rest of his life with Kurt… he could never love anyone as much as he loved Kurt.

Kurt pushed the ring up Blaine's finger and pulled him into a tight embrace and pressed his lips to Blaine’s. Blaine was happy; he was going to spend the rest of his life with the man he loved.
