“Kurt, sit down…” said Blaine taking a deep breath “When I was younger in pre-school, I had this really good friend, Tobias… We grew up here together” Tears started to roll down his cheeks his body racked with sobs, Kurt took his hand, and pulled him over to the bed.

“They were inseparable, well except when he was e-mailing you.” said Cooper “Before they started middle school, Tobias got pulled out and had to go to public school, they stayed in touch and hung out, they helped each other...Tobias was there when Blaine came out to me, he was just there for him, Blaine had begun to fall for him. But he was getting bullied, people at his school had seen him hanging out with Blaine… and he hung himself… he’d stopped talking to Blaine… Blaine never go the chance to tell him how he felt… and we just don’t want that to happen to you Kurt, you make him very happy.”

Blaine heart ached, as he remembered everything that he and Tobias had done, how hard he’d fallen for him. Blaine saw that Kurt’s eyes were glistening with tears, and this made his chest ache even more.

“Blaine, I’m sorry. That sounds awful… I promise I’ll talk it out if I ever feel that way but you have to the same for me, I can’t lose you Blaine”

“Yeah, I just- you-you mean a lot to me and it would kill me, if I lost you…” said Blaine, tears still cascading down his face.

“It would be nice to not be constantly terrified,” Kurt admitted. “I don’t know what to do; Principal Sue said she can’t do anything unless he actually does something…”

“Hey Kurt,” said Cooper “Would you like me to come talk to him, Blaine said that, your step-brother, Finn? Was it? Wouldn’t help…”

“That would be nice Cooper, but I don’t want to drag you guys in to this, it’s not your problem…”

“Hey!” Cooper interrupted. “This became my problem when you started dating my little brother, he loves you and I don’t want him to have to go through that again, it killed him… he was depressed for ages, I don’t think he could go through it again, and you mean so much more to him than Tobias, you’ve helped him… it would kill him to lose you…”

Blaine lent in to Kurt's shoulder, sniffling… wordlessly begging Kurt to let Cooper help him…

“Okay, well it would be nice to not be terrified anymore, would you come and talk to him?” said Kurt after a moment’s silence.

“Sure!” said Cooper, “when shall we come?”

“How about Wednesday at lunch?”

“Sounds perfect! Come on Kurt we’ll drive you home…” said Cooper.

When they reached Kurt’s house, Cooper pulled up and Blaine walked Kurt to his front door.

“Thank-you Blaine, tonight has been lovely” said Kurt facing Blaine.

“Yeah, It has, but it’s not been perfect… yet” said Blaine.

With that he leaned in and pressed his lips to Kurt’s, he reached up his hand to cup Kurt’s cheek, his tongue traced lazily over Kurt’s upper lip begging for access which Kurt soon allowed him, parting his lips letting Blaine tongue explore his mouth, he ran it over Kurt’s teeth swirled it around Kurt’s tongue and then withdrew his own to allow Kurt access to his, Kurt’s tongue darted in tasting every inch of Blaine’s mouth. They parted staring deeply into one another’s eyes.

“Wow that was the perfect ending to a perfect date...” Kurt said breathily

“Yeah, it was, thank you Kurt… and thank you for the song earlier it was beautiful… you have an amazing voice…”

“Really? Thank you…” Kurt was just leaning in for another kiss when the door opened.

“Inside Kurt, you can talk to Blaine tomorrow…” said Burt with a stern look on his face

“Good Evening Mr Hummel” said Blaine bowing his head

“Good Evening Blaine, see you around”

Blaine turned and practically skipped to the car.

“Well someone looks happy” said Cooper as they pulled on the freeway, Blaine hadn’t stopped smiling since he got to the car…

“well… I kissed him, it was amazing, Coop.” said Blaine, a grin permanently etched on his face, this was the happiest he’d been in a long time.
