Two Months Later
Six people were sat in a secluded booth at the back of 'The Tray Spot' a small coffee shop just outside the city. A Place where they couldn't get caught...
"They are meant to be together" said a man with a Blonde bieber cut.
"I know, but they both think the other has moved on... What can we do, Jeff? "Said a tall Brunette Girl sat opposite him a short man with jet black curls was sat next to her.
"Are we certain they both aren't, Kelsey? I mean Kurt is getting married" said another girl sat on the other side of the curly haired man.
"Yes Rachel," said the third girl "Kurt is always talking about Blaine at work... he's always worrying about him... saying he's hiding something."
"But that doesn't mean he still loves him, Lotti" said Rachel adamantly
"Not in so many words but it's possible" Lotti replied
"And I personally haven't seen Blaine happier, since the... incident, than when he has been hanging out with Kurt. I mean sure he likes Tobias but part of him will always love Kurt" said the curly haired man.
"Darren is Right" said Kelsey "He's writing and singing more than I've seen him do in two years... he's so much happier"
"Kurt thinks he really loves Tobias... that he's moved on. He really likes Ryan... he may even love him...But Blaine will always mean so much to him..." said the dark haired man who was sat next to Jeff.
"Nick, Kelsey, Lotti, Darren and Rach," Said Jeff "We have to do something... we need to help them see that they are meant to be... Yeah Blaine did a really shitty and terrible thing... and Kurt probably will never fully forgive him... but they need each other always have, always will."
The others nodded in agreement and the six of them began to draw up a plan of action.

Three Weeks Later
Blaine continued to help Kurt with the wedding planning; he enjoyed spending his time with Kurt. He was getting to know him again... he was starting to feel close to him again. One bitter March day he and Kurt we're sat in a caf paging through catalogues of wedding attire, looking for the perfect outfits for the wedding party. They laughed and chatted about each outfit.
"Did you get your invite to Nick and Jeff's wedding?" Said Kurt, they were looking at the dresses for the bridesmaids: Rachel, Patti, Lotti and Ryan's sister Aimee.
"Yeah I did...You and Ryan going?" Blaine said, still looking though his catalogue
"Just me... He doesn't really know them, so he doesn't really want to go... what about Tobias? He gonna be your plus one?"
"No... sadly it's his brother's birthday that weekend... hey... maybe we should go together, as friends?"
"It would be nice to have someone to go with" said Kurt smiling. "Oooh those dresses are perfect for the older bridesmaids" he pointed at some in Blaine's catalogue. "And that one for Patti"
"They are beautiful" said Blaine smiling, looking forward to attending Nick and Jeff's wedding with Kurt.

The weekend of the wedding arrived and Kurt and Blaine flew back to Lima. Nick and Jeff were getting married in back in Lima, at Dalton in Warbler Hall. The two men were excited to go back to their old school and happy to see two of their best friends get married, they'd been waiting for this moment since high school. Nick and Jeff were the couple that everyone knew would end up together, even though they'd never admit they liked each other.
They arrived at the hotel around 3pm in the afternoon; it felt strange for them to be walking the halls of a building where they'd shared so many memories. There was a woman sat at the reception desk, she had long light brown hair and wore a grey suit with a purple shirt, she wore a name tag which declared he name to be Gemma.
"Good afternoon, Welcome to Dalton Halls Hotel, My name is Gemma how can I help?"
"Um yes," said Kurt, "My Names Kurt Hummel and this is Blaine Anderson we had booked out two rooms"
"Okay let me just look" she said typing in to the computer "I don't seem to have that on my system"
"We definitely booked rooms" said Blaine...
"I just have another look... ah... it looks like you have a double room booked"
"No... that's not right...we booked two singles" said Kurt
"That's what's showing on my system and unfortunately all our single rooms are unavailable... It is twin bed... I'm so sorry for the mix up" she said sincerely
"Well I guess... if its twin bedded, It'll be fine" said Blaine, kind of happy that he was sharing a room with Kurt.
"I guess it will" said Kurt...
"I'll show you to your room" said Gemma
She took them up to their room, leading them along the familiar corridors. Dalton Academy had since moved to a new building a few blocks down the road, and as the old premises was listed they were unable to demolish it, It was bought out and was now used as a venue for weddings and other special occasions and the dorms as a hotel.
"It feels so strange being back," said Blaine as he unpacked
"It really does doesn't it...." Said Kurt looking around "Hey, wasn't this our old dorm?"
Kurt walked over and examined the carvings on the wall, feeling a wave of nostalgia. As many memories flooded back, he smiled fondly at them, memories of both before and whilst they were dating.
"Yeah it is." said Blaine, smiling back at Kurt.
"No funny business Anderson... we're both taken remember" Kurt jested.
"Never... I'm not going down that route again... Kama is a bitch"
Kurt wondered what Blaine meant by that statement. They finished unpacking in silence. After they'd finished they walked around the grounds both men we're bombarded with memories both happy and sad. They found their way to the restaurant; they ate chatting, reminiscing about their time as warblers, avoiding the topic of their relationship. Well until they'd had a few drinks.
"What happened to us?" Asked Kurt. "You're keeping something from me. You never used to keep secrets from me... well except Sebastian... but you seem guarded and it's only me, Blaine we're best friends...."
Blaine looked up from his dinner.
"I know, Kurt... It's hard.... I've hardly told anyone.... I can't tell some people... It's personal"
"Please tell me... "
"No"
"Blaine?"
"NO!" said Blaine growing increasingly more aggravated... his head swimming, not wanting the impending flash backs to start.
"Please.... You used to tell me everything"
"WELL I CAN'T TELL YOU THIS!" Blaine snapped, slamming down his cutlery and storming out and heading back to the room.
He couldn't believe Kurt. He of all people should know how when he did want to talk about something it must hard for Blaine to talk about. He sat on his bed, grabbed his journal and began to write, flashbacks of both when he and Kurt were together and the night of the assault filling his mind, he fell asleep, hugging his journal, his face sticky with tears. The faces of Eli and Jackson plagued his dreams; he fell in to a restless sleep.

Meanwhile
Kurt was sat at the table head in his hands. What had he just done... he knew Blaine, he knew that when he didn't want to talk about something this much, that was upsetting or hurting him that he should leave it and let Blaine come to him. Whatever it is it must be bad... It seemed to get him pretty worked up. Kurt just wanted to help Blaine... help him feel better, he could see that Blaine wasn't quite himself lately, it worried him.
After a while Kurt headed back to the room, hoping Blaine was still awake so that he could apologise to him. But when he arrived back at the apartment Blaine was sound asleep, tear stained cheeks and hugging his journal. Kurt noticed then the sheer magnitude of what must have happened to Blaine. He had to wait for Blaine to be ready to tell him... if he ever was. Kurt walked over and pulled the comforter over Blaine and stroked his hair softly.
"I'm so sorry I pushed you Blaine" he whispered, before turning and climbing in to his own bed, he watched Blaine until he himself fell asleep.

The next morning was the day of the wedding and Kurt was rushing around getting ready, making sure he looked okay. Blaine watched him, nostalgic, as he gelled back his hair. He'd really had missed Kurt like this, waking up with him, getting ready with him... just living with him in general.
"How do I look?" Asked Kurt giving Blaine a twirl, he was dressed in a teal paisley patterned suit with a magenta shirt.
'Beautiful, sexy, hot, gorgeous' Blaine thought.
"You look nice." Said Blaine, actively reminding himself that Kurt was engaged and that he had a boyfriend.
"Thanks" said Kurt a crimson blush tickling his cheeks.
"You're welcome" said Blaine; he was wearing a yellow suit, with a blue tank top, white shirt and a checked bowtie.
"You don't look too bad yourself," Kurt chuckled smiling softly at Blaine. "I'm sorry about last night Blaine..."
"I know you are... I did overreact a little. It's just hard for me to talk about" said Blaine looking sadly down briefly, he composed himself and plastered a convincing fake smile on his face "Come on... let's get going"
Kurt smiled and the two men headed down to 'Warbler Hall'. Nick was pacing outside the hall, he was starting to panic, and he was beginning to second guess whether this step was right for them. He loved more than life itself... But this was a big step... Were they ready for it? He was so lost in his thoughts he almost knocked Kurt and Blaine to the ground as they were entering the hall.
"Hey Nick" said Blaine smiling kindly, knowing what he was thinking. He'd been through the same thing when he was marrying Kurt.
"You okay buddy?" Kurt asked.
"I'm starting to panic" he admitted, running a hand through his hair "I mean I love Jeff more than anything... but marriage... It's a big step"
"Nick, cold feet are perfectly normal" Kurt reassured him "I panicked, I was scared to take that leap with Blaine...But the moment I started walking down the aisle towards him, he'd never looked more beautiful, I saw my future with Blaine, our life mapped out in front of me and all the fear all the last minute doubts melted away... I knew that with him by my side I could do anything... It felt right"
Kurt glanced sideways at Blaine, Blaine looked to his feet feeling guilty avoiding Kurt's gaze.
"Yeah..." said Nick "I guess you're right... Jeff is my everything... the only person I can see myself with. Thank you Kurt Blaine... you guys should go take your seats"
"Everything will be okay Nick... I promise" said Blaine.
Nick smiled at them as they went to take their seats. The ceremony was beautiful it took place in the sun nook; The Warblers preformed the wedding march in 8-part harmony as they entered. The two men looked so happy, as they said their vows there wasn't a dry eye in the room.

Later that evening at the reception, Kurt was sat chatting to a few warblers and old friends. Blaine was sat on his own. Kurt noted he looked sad and excused himself from the conversation, they'd moved on to football now so Kurt wasn't too interested, and he walked over to Blaine You and Me by Lifehouse began to play.
"May I have this dance... as friends of course" Kurt asked, offering his hand to Blaine, bowing slightly.
Blaine looked up slightly smiling.
"Yes, yes you may"
He took Kurt's hand and Kurt led him to the floor. The two men danced, Blaine leading, he felt safe having Kurt so close, holding him, Blaine resting his head in Kurt's neck. A few of Blaine's curls had broken free of their gelmet and tickled Kurt's nose. Kurt had missed the raspberry scent of Blaine's hair gel and the way his head fitted into his neck, Kurt had to remind himself that he was engaged... and that wasn't to Blaine. Someone tapped him on the shoulder. He turned to see Tobias, he felt a surge of guilt, and he felt terrible for still having feelings for Blaine, for enjoying having him so close.
"Mind if I cut in" he said quietly.
"No not at all." He said reluctantly letting Blaine go... both of them instantly missing the other's arms around them.
Blaine smiled at Tobias; he pulled Blaine to him dancing with him. Kurt walked away and sat down at the table watching them. Looking how happy Blaine looked, how he lit up around Tobias... the way he used to around Kurt, the little smile that always tugged on his lips, the one that said 'kiss me' the one that Kurt had fallen in love with. Kurt grabbed some champagne and drank, remembering he had a fianc.
"What are you doing here?" Blaine asked as they danced... "Don't get me wrong I'm happy you came but isn't it Harry's birthday?"
"He's had 23 other birthdays... he won't mind me missing this one" said Tobias, Smiling.
Blaine grinned and rested his head on Tobias' shoulder, burying his face in his neck. He looked over at Kurt, and watched him. He wished he hadn't screwed everything up with him. They should be dancing together, they should be sharing memories of their wedding together, they should be catching up with old school friends together... they should be together... but they weren't... they never would be... Blaine had to accept that. He held Tobias closer, when the song came to a close the two men went to sit down, it was time for Nick and Jeff to give their speeches, they talked about what love is. They re-told their love story.
Kurt looked over at Blaine, he was snuggled into Tobias. Kurt realised that he still felt all the things that Nick and Jeff were talking about for Blaine. But Blaine had moved on... Kurt had to do that too... he knew it'd be hard, but he'd done it once surely he could do it again. He'd just have to try extra hard.
When the speeches had finished Blaine glanced over to where Kurt had been sitting. He was saddened to see that he'd gone. He knew then that he still had feelings for Kurt, but he was getting married... he couldn't hurt Tobias like that. He loved Tobias... he did... he just wasn't Kurt. Blaine turned back to Tobias kissing him on the cheek.
"I love you" Blaine whispered.
"I love you too"
~~~
That night Tobias snuggled with Blaine in his bed, the two mean curled around each other. Kurt couldn't help but feel jealous... He was happy that Blaine was happy, that he'd moved on, but part of him still loved Blaine. Kurt loved Ryan of course he did, but it wasn't the same. Ryan wasn't into big romantic gestures and public displays of affection, like Kurt and Blaine were, he didn't even really see why they had to get married, he couldn't really understand what it meant to Kurt.
