Author's Notes: Sorry I didn't upload for a few days.. I've been quite sick, and I'm sorry this is short but it's only part a ;) Enjoy!
They had been driving for a little over 10 minutes before they arrived at the restaurant that Blaine had picked, it was a small Italian one on the corner of the street that his school was on. Kurt had never been there before but some of the other teachers had recommended it because the staff were quite friendly.Sometime while he had been off with the fairies, Blaine had walked around to the passenger side door and opened it, with a small smile he quickly hopped out and the other man closed the car door and locked it with a small click.

They walked next to each other on the sidewalk, their hands would brush every so often and Kurt would feel a blush flood his cheeks, just the touch of Blaine's fingertips could turn him into a puddle of goo in an instant. They reached the restaurant and Blaine held the door open for Kurt, he smiled at the other man before walking inside and up to the small desk at the front, waiting for a waiter or waitress to guide them to their table.

Their waitress was a Blonde girl named Claire, she guided them to a small booth at the back that was just out of distance of all the families with small, screaming children. Once they were seated Claire handed them a menu each, telling them she would be back in a few minutes to take their order, a small silence settled upon the two men but it wasn't awkward at all. "What are you getting?" Blaine questioned, breaking the silence and startling Kurt a bit.

"Umm" Kurt mumbled, he hadn't yet decided what he would get because everything sounded wonderful, he just couldn't decide. "I don't know" He said quietly, looking up at the other man, "maybe you should decide for me?" the other man smiled, shrugging his shoulders "alright, but it's a surprise okay?" Kurt nodded in agreement, watching as Blaine scanned the menu before placing his on top of Kurt's closed one, clasping his hands on the table in front of him.

Claire came waltzing back to the table, she was carrying a small note-pad and popping her gum as she listened to Blaine explaining what they would be having, she wrote it all down and recited it back to the other man before walking back in to the kitchen, leaving the two men on their own once again.

They had been seated at their table for about 20 minutes, idly chatting about ranges of topics that went from Kurt's job to Blaine's job, and they even talked about little Stacey and her bullying situation. "They moved her to a new class" Kurt said, twirling his pasta around on the fork before eating it slowly, Blaine had chose the spaghetti bolognese for both himself and the other man, it was absolutely divine.

"Well I guess that's good then?" The curly haired man questioned, it was a bit muffled as he had decided to speak while swallowing a mouthful of his food. "Don't talk with your mouth full" Kurt warned, using his 'I'm-a-strict-teacher voice' and looking Blaine squarely in the eyes before bursting out into fits of giggles. The other man couldn't help but laugh along with him.

They ate their meals in a comfortable silence that was broken every so often by some light chatter about anything that came to their minds. Blaine clasped his hands in front of him on the table, clearing his throat before speaking. "Do you want to have desert here or we could go back to my place?" he questioned, eyeing Kurt carefully as the other man pushed his plate away and thought about what to answer.

"I, um, can we go back to your house?" Kurt mumbled, ducking his head so Blaine barely even heard what he said. "yeah, ok" he replied with a smile, placing the money on the table to pay for their food, Kurt huffed but slid his hand into Blaine's, "I should have payed" he grumbled, but there was a grin still present on his face as they walked towards the car and made the journey back to Blaine's house.

They parked in the residents parking lot outside of Blaine's apartment and walked up the winding steps leading to the door of his apartment, their hands linked and swinging between them with every step, Kurt thought it felt wonderful. The shorter man pulled his keys out of his pocket, unlocking the door and opening it wide for Kurt, "let's go inside" he said quietly, not wanting to wake the neighbors.
