He walked down the long hallway to Ms. Tanita's office again, clutching his satchel tightly against his side as he continued to walk, stopping abruptly in front of her door and knocking, "Co-o-ome i-i-in," a voice sing-songed from inside, Kurt took a deep breath and pushed up the door to her office, "Oh Kurt, how lovely to see you again," she said brightly, her smile almost blinding, "uh, you too, but there's something we need to talk about," he said awkwardly and she paled, "have a seat," she murmured, her tone no longer filled with happiness.
She motioned for him to start talking with her hand, he took a deep breath before speaking, "You haven't done anything about Stacey's bullying case, it's getting worse and she's continuing to get targeted, you're the head aren't you meant to do something about it?" He asked, his temper getting worse with every new word he spoke, Ms. Tanita sighed, "I know, I'm sorry, I forgot," she mumbled, and even Kurt could tell that she was lieing, "tell me the truth," he said sternly, knowing that he was pushing it but he needed to stand up for Stacey, she deserved to be safe and happy at school, not feel pressured to be 'normal'.
She sighed and placed her arms on the desk, "I can't do anything about it, I tried telling the office staff but they keep telling me that there is nothing that they can do and I can't do anything about it without their permission," she finished quietly, looking as if she was about to cry. Kurt's facial expression softened and he reached across the desk, placing a comforting hand on her arm and rubbing soft circles into it, "thank you for telling me the truth, Brooke, are you sure that there is nothing we can do?" he asked, his expression pleading, he really wanted to help this little girl.
"Well," she started softly, sucking her bottom lip between her teeth as she thought about what other things they could do to stop this, "we could call her parents in for a meeting? it could help us sort this out?" she suggested with a shrug, her shoulders falling as she slumped against the chair, "we'll try that, can you call them and schedule it, we can talk more about it tomorrow?" he asked, Brooke was the head of the department and was the one who scheduled any meetings between parents and teachers, "of course, I'll talk to you tomorrow, Kurt!" she replied happily, waving at him as he walked out the door of her office.

After Kurt had left the school, he had gone straight to The Grande Spot where Blaine worked, he needed to grade his papers anyway and where was a better place to do it then at such a lovely coffee shop, and the plus was that his boyfriend worked there. Kurt held his binder tightly under his arm, he had invested in getting one after the constant struggle of having to hold so many papers in his hands at once, and at least this way they were kept neat and organised. He walked straight up to the door of the coffee shop, opening it and hearing the familiar bell sound above his head.
He saw Blaine look up from where he was cleaning out a coffee cup and he waved to him, Kurt smiled and waved back before walking over to his normal table and placing his binder and satchel on the table, grabbing his wallet out of the satchel before walking up to the counter and smiling brightly at Katie, the newest employee who was working the register today, "Hey Katie," he said sweetly, "Hey Kurt, the usual?" she replied with a smug look on her face, "of course, and can I get a piece of orange cake as well? thank you," he replied with another small smile, paying for his coffee and cake and took the cake back to his table before walking around the side of the counter to wait for his coffee.
It turned out that Blaine was the one making the coffee today when Kurt turned around to face the machines and a smiling Blaine was looking back at him, he nearly jumped out of his skin in surprise, "Oh, Blaine, honey you scared me," he said with a laugh, Blaine snorted lightly and waved his hand, "I'm always doing that," he replied before turning his attention back to Kurt's coffee that he was making. The coffee shop was not that busy this afternoon so there weren't any other coffees to make at the moment.
"Here's your coffee, my darling," Blaine purred, passing Kurt's usual order over to him and startling him out of his reverie, "Oh thank you, honey," he replied in an equally sexy voice, winking at Blaine before walking back over to his table and taking a seat. He picked up his fork and dug into the orange cake, tipping his head back in pleasure and smiling brightly as he continued to eat the cake until it was all gone in less than 5 minutes.
