Blaine didn’t know how long he slept for he just knew that sleeping in Kurt’s arm allowed him to have the best nap of his entire life.

“Did you have a good sleep honey?” Kurt asked kissing the top of Blaine’s head.

                “I did.” Blaine said yawning.

“Good. Carole has dinner downstairs for us whenever you are hungry.” Kurt told Blaine.

“Hmmm…food sounds great, I didn’t eat much lunch.”  Blaine said stretching as much as he could while still remaining in Kurt’s arms.

“You have to get up then honey.”

“In that case screw food, I’m too comfortable.”

                “You need to eat.”

“Uh-uh. I can survive on cuddles.”

“Pretty sure you need to eat too.”

“Are you allowed to eat in your room?”

“Yes. But one of us would still have to get up to go get the food.”

                “Finn!” Blaine called.

                “Yeah?” Finn yelled back.

“Can you bring me and Kurt some food please?” Blaine yelled back.

Kurt buried his face in Blaine’s shoulder and tried to hide his laugher.

“Get it yourself!” Finn yelled back.

“But I’m a guest and I’ve had a rough day!” Blaine yelled back.

“Oh for the love of god! Finn just bring them some food and everyone stop yelling!” Burt hollered.

“Sorry Burt!” Both Blaine and Finn yelled at the same time.

“You are so lucky my dad likes you.” Kurt told Blaine.

Blaine smiled proudly.

“Here’s your food.” Finn said coming into the room and balancing three plates. He handed one to Kurt, one to Blaine and kept the third for himself. He sat at the end of the bed, his back against the footboard so that he was facing the couple.

“So are you ok now man?” Finn asked.

“Yeah I’m good now.” Blaine confirmed.

                “Good. So like what happened?”

“I don’t do well around people I don’t really know so I was feeling a bit unsteady, I went outside to get some fresh air and Karofsky slushied me and called me a fairy and I had a panic attack.”

“He called you a fairy?” Kurt asked at the same time as Finn asked “You were uncomfortable because if us? The glee club I mean?”

“Yes to both questions. Sorry Finn, I’m sure everyone in the glee club is fantastic I just get nervous around new people.”

                “Why?”

“Ummm….the summer before  9th grade my parents sent me to camp. It sounded like it could be fun and I was a lot more social back then so I had no problem going. Anyway some of the guys there found out I’m gay and they…they beat the living crap out of me.” Blaine said pulling an invisible thread on the leg of the sweat pants Kurt had lent him.

“Oh.” Finn said; Blaine felt Kurt’s arms tighten around him.

“That’s when I decided to spend my time with books rather than people and when I decided to do whatever I could not to be noticed.” Blaine said giving up on the invisible thread and starting to push the food around on his plate.

“And then I came along and you couldn’t hide anymore.” Kurt said sadly.

“Which is a good thing Kurt; I can’t spend my life hiding. It isn’t healthy.” Blaine said turning his head so he could see Kurt.

                “Are you sure?” Kurt asked.

                “I’m sure.”

“But you had a panic attack.”

“And you pulled me out of it.”

                “He did?” Finn asked.

“He did, he was amazing taking my bow tie off and telling me to breathe, giving me something to focus on.” Blaine said proudly, Kurt blushed.

“I did what anyone would do. “

“I wouldn’t have thought to do any of that. I would’ve freaked out and Rachel would’ve probably slapped him.” Finn said.

“Oh that would’ve been bad. I’ve heard that being slapped works for some people but since my disorder was brought on by violence being slapped just makes it worse.” Blaine explained.

“Ok, no slapping, I’ll make sure she knows.” Finn said nodding.

Blaine shifted on the bed a bit so he was next to Kurt and they could still cuddle but the new position allowed Kurt to have a free hand to eat his dinner with.

“So tomorrow would you feel more comfortable if we didn’t eat lunch with the rest of the glee club?” Kurt asked.

“No, I need to get used to being around them….maybe we could eat lunch in the choir room? So then it’s just them and us not them, us and the whole school?” Blaine suggested.

“I think everyone would be willing to do that.” Finn said.

“I’ll bring lunch for everyone then we’re guaranteed good food and no complaining.” Kurt told the other boys.

“I don’t want you to go to any trouble for me.” Blaine said.

                “I don’t mind.”

“Don’t argue dude, when he makes up his mind there’s nothing he can do to change it besides he is an awesome cook. Like even better than my mom.” Finn said whispering the last part.  The boys ate their dinner as Finn texted Rachel and Puck while Kurt texted Mercedes and Tina to let them know the plan, they knew that they would be on board and would tell the rest of the glee club the plan. They also knew that while curious no one in the glee would press for details as to why Blaine wasn’t comfortable around large groups of people. After the boys ate their dinner they watched Kurt’s DVD of RENT, after it was done Finn was making an argument for watching a slasher movie, his reasoning was if Blaine watched some really fucked up shit then McKinley wouldn’t seem so bad when Burt pooped his head in the room and told Finn to watch his language and also told Kurt that it was time Blaine went home.

“You’ll need to drive me home Kurt, I’m not allowed to drive for at least a week after I have a major panic attack as my parents worry I’ll have another one.”  Blaine told his boyfriend.

“Drive him home and then drive straight back Kurt.” Burt said.

                “Ok dad.”

“I’m serious, no more than five minutes of making out in the car.”

                “Dad!”

“What you kids think I don’t remember what is like to be young and in love?” Burt chuckled.

“I think after the day I had 15 minutes would be reasonable.” Blaine interjected.

“When you get comfortable around someone you completely lose your filter don’t you?” Kurt asked.

“I revert back to my old self when I get comfortable around someone and my own self had no filter with anyone.” Blaine shrugged.

“I’ll allow you boys ten minutes and don’t think I won’t know if you take longer. I know things.” Burt said.

“We’ll take it.” Blaine said smiling.

“You know I’m not sure how I feel about you negotiating with my dad over how long you and I can make out in the car so it might not happen at all.” Kurt told Blaine as they left his house.

“But baby, I’ve had a rough day and your kisses will make me feel so much better.” Blaine pouted.

“You have no problem using that to get what you want do you?” Kurt asked.

“I have found that it generally works, so no I don’t.” Blaine smiled.

Kurt laughed as he pulled out of his driveway.

“Do you think your dad will really know if we make out longer than ten minutes?” Blaine asked as they neared his house.

“Yup, he probably called your parents and told them to turn the hose on us if we take even a second longer.”

“Oh dear god! I don’t even want to imagine that phone call! I really don’t think my parents are ready to know about me making out with another boy.”

“Honey, I was joking. He wouldn’t have called your parents.” Kurt said mentally kicking himself.

“Good, that’s good. They are trying Kurt, they really are. But I don’t want to overwhelm them.”

                “I understand honey.”

“Thanks, now get over here we only have ten minutes.”  Blaine said undoing Kurt’s seatbelt and grabbing his hand to pull him onto his lap.
