Author's Notes:

Sorry this took so long, I was sick for about 6 weeks. Nothing too serious just a bad cold that turned into bronchitis but it really kicked my butt and sapped all my energy.

The little bear was only the beginning as Kurt soon found out, he received a little gift at every stop of the tour, never anything big as he didn’t have much room on the bus but there was always something. Usually he received the gifts when he was checking out if the hotel, but sometimes they arrived part way through the day. Kurt briefly wondered if Cooper was the one picking up the gifts but there were days he received gifts when the taller man hadn’t been out of his sight for more than a few minutes at a time. But what really proved to Kurt that Cooper was not the one running out to get the gifts on Blaine’s behalf is when they arrived at their first stop in Texas (Kermit, Texas which to Cooper’s disappointment was not named after the frog) and there was a dozen roses waiting for Kurt at the front desk of the hotel when he checked in. He placed them on the nightstand by his hotel bed and loved seeing them there when he got back to the room after the night’s performance. Before they had to leave to go to the next stop he took the most perfect rose out of the bunch and placed it and the card that came with them in the pages of the rarely used journal he had brought with him on the trip. He had brought the journal to document the tour but soon gave up in actually writing in it as there wasn’t really all that exciting to write about in it when all he did was either sit on a bus all day or perform the show. But he decided it proved itself quite useful in storing the mementos of the gifts sent to him by his soul mate. Part of Kurt worried about how much time Blaine was spending not only thinking of the gifts but finding places in each town that would deliver them. That same part of Kurt wanted to tell Blaine all the gifts weren’t necessary and that he should stop but there was another more vocal part of Kurt, the Rachel Berry-esque part of Kurt that was loving the attention. So instead of telling Blaine to stop every time he got a gift he sent him an I love you text which Blaine then returned as soon as he could.

The days all ran together and Kurt was genuinely surprised when he woke up and realised it was Thanksgiving, they had the day off but had performances the rest of the weekend. There weren’t any real plans amongst the cast and crew about what to do for Thanksgiving, some wanted to find a restaurant that was open and was serving Thanksgiving dinner, and others figured that a frozen Thanksgiving TV dinner would be good enough. Kurt honestly didn’t care what they did, he knew that it wouldn’t be as good as dinner with his family and he was going with some serious Blaine withdrawals, as nice as the gifts were they weren’t a substitute for his soul mate. That being said he still had every plan to devour every last bit of chocolate that he received that morning. Before he got the chance to start on the chocolates though he received a text from Tony stating there was going to be an emergency meeting in conference room B in five minutes. Kurt wondered which of his idiot cast mates screwed up this time remembering that last time an emergency meeting was called was when it was announced that Cooper would be stepping in for the former Roger. The conference room was only two floors below Kurt and Cooper’s room so the pair opted for taking the stairs as opposed for waiting for the elevator, despite being so close they were the last two to arrive. When they did they were greeted with the conference room fully decked out for Thanksgiving, the table was full of Turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and stuffing. But Kurt barely registered all of that because there standing among the cast and crew, looking as handsome as ever, was Blaine.

Kurt didn’t even remember walking towards Blaine but he must have as the next thing he knew he was wrapped in the arms of the man he loves, not caring about all the people around them as he kissed him.

“You’re here. I can’t believe you’re here.” Kurt breathed against Blaine’s lips as they pulled apart slightly.

“I couldn’t wait until Christmas to see you again.” Blaine replied.

“Did you do all of this?” Kurt asked.

“The hotel kitchen staff did all the cooking and your cast mates and the crew did the decorating, I just made the phone calls to arrange it and bankrolled everything.” Blaine shrugged.

Behind them Kurt heard Cooper clear his throat. “Did you know about this?” Kurt asked the elder Anderson.

“I had no clue. Can I say hi to my little brother so we can eat before the food gets cold?”

“Hi Coop.” Blaine smiled and he let go of his soul ate to give his brother a hug.

“Hi Blainers, you could have told me about this.”

Blaine shook his head. “I wanted to surprise you both.”

The dinner was fantastic and Kurt knew it would definitely be one of his favorite memories of the entire tour, Blaine had made it known that all the hotel staff was welcome to join them for the dinner as well. He figured since they did all the work it would be rude not to invite them and he felt bad that they had to work on the holiday. There were so many people mingling and coming in and out of the conference room that it was hard to keep track of everyone, including one face that would give Kurt pause if he had noticed it.

“You really are the best soul mate, you know that?” Kurt told Blaine as he rubbed the back of Blaine’s neck. “Organizing all this on top of all the gifts you’ve been sending me…you spoil me.”

“I haven’t sent you any gifts.” Blaine told Kurt his brow wrinkled in confusion.
