Blaine couldn’t tie his bow tie, he had tied the bloody things a million times but today he just couldn’t do it, he was too nervous. In the mirror he saw Kurt watching him with an amused smirk.
“Do you want a hand with that baby?”
“Yes please.”
Kurt gave Blaine a small kiss on his nose before tying the bow tie for him.
“Calm down, you’re so nervous you’re shaking.”
“I can’t help it, what if I trip, or forget my speech or they realise they made a mistake and I’m not graduating today after all?”
“Blaine Devon Anderson-Hummel! You listen to me, everything is going to go perfectly, you won’t trip, you’ll deliver an amazing speech and by the time we get home today we’ll have your Masters of Arts in Music Therapy to hang on our living room wall.”
“You’re right.”
“I’m always right you should know that by now.”
Blaine kissed his husband, “Of course you are.”
“Now hand me one of your hankies my dad is going to bawl his eyes out during the ceremony he’s so proud of you.”
“Take two; if he cries anywhere as much as he did at our wedding he’ll need more than one.”
“Good point.”
“Oh and baby can you try and keep my brother under control? I’m worried he’ll try and join me on stage when I give my valedictorian speech to give everyone a thrill.”
“He’s gotten worse since he got that part in that movie.”
“He didn’t even have a line Kurt!”
“I know baby I know.”
As Kurt watched Blaine give his speech he couldn’t help but feel proud of his husband, all his dreams were coming true. They had a beautiful wedding last summer, today Blaine was graduating and would soon be starting at Dr. White’s office as a musical therapist, it turned out she had been wanting to expand her practice to include musical therapy for years but hadn’t found anyone right for the job until she met Blaine. And tomorrow Kurt would tell Blaine about the phone call he got yesterday saying that they were selected by a birth mother and in a few months their baby would be born.

This story was awesome. It was nice to see Kurt and Blaine come together and work through their past problems so that they could be a happier and stronger couple. I also love the fact that everyone kept mentioning how happy and proud Burt was that they were back together.
This was such a lovely story! I loved the realization both played in the break up and the road back to being Kurt and Blaine. Wonderful job.
