The boys had planned to spend the whole weekend in bed but that didn’t seem like the best idea right now. Kurt still needed to go home and change so after they ate the meals that Sebastian had packed up for them Kurt went back to his apartment, alone. It was awkward when they went to say goodbye because neither one of them really knew where they stood now so they shared a quick hug and Kurt left. Blaine had offered to walk Kurt to the subway station or call him a cab but Kurt refused.
Blaine turned on his computer and googled “LGBT couples counselling.” He looked at the results, read a few profiles and jotted down a few names.
I have a few names of some couples counsellors who I think can help us, what me to email you the list? - Blaine
Yeah, that’d be great. – Kurt
Blaine sent Kurt all the information and together they chose someone who they thought could help them. Blaine called and left a message on the office’s voicemail asking for them to call him or Kurt when the office opened to see if they could arrange an appointment.
Blaine wasn’t sure if he should or not but on Sunday he sent Kurt a text and invited him out for coffee, they had planned to spend the whole weekend together so it felt weird to not see Kurt at all on Sunday. Kurt agreed but asked if he could bring Rachel along, Blaine had hoped it would just be the two of them but he hadn’t seen Rachel since that brief encounter at the coffee shop, so he said it’d be fine.
Blaine arrived at the coffee shop that was about halfway between their apartments first, he would’ve ordered the drinks like he normally did but he couldn’t remember what Rachel liked to drink.
“Hey.” Some random guy greeted Blaine, or at least Blaine thought it was a random guy it could’ve been someone from one of his classes, he had no idea.
“Umm…hi”
“It’s a shame that someone as gorgeous as you is here all by himself.” Ok, yeah it is a random guy.
“Oh, I’m not alone I’m meeting my boyfriend.”
“Darn, had to give it a shot.”
“I’m flattered but spoken for.”
“What is it with you and coffee shops? Guys are always trying to pick you up at coffee shops.” Kurt said approaching the table.
“Hi! Nothing was going on.” Blaine said quickly
“I know Blaine, it’s ok. You can talk to other guys.”
The guy left and found someone else to hit on.
“Hi Blaine.”
“Hi Rachel, I’m sorry I didn’t get your drinks but I couldn’t remember what you like.” He said giving the small girl a quick hug.
“Probably because she changes her drink like I change outfits.” Kurt joked.
“That explains it.”
Kurt went to get his and Rachel’s drinks while she sat at the table with Blaine.
“So Rachel how’s NAYDA?”
“It’s fantastic! I have a big solo in the upcoming talent showcase.”
“That’s great; you’ll have to let me know when it is so I can come watch.”
“Of course.”
“I know you must have a boyfriend, so give me all the details.”
“I was seeing someone but we broke up a while ago.”
“So you aren’t seeing anyone? I thought Kurt said you were.”
“I said what?” Kurt asked coming up.
“That Rachel was seeing someone.”
“Because she is, aren’t you?”
“Ummm….”
“Oh, I think it’s a secret boyfriend.” Blaine teased.
“You know I think you’re right, that must mean we know him.”
“I bet it’s Finn.”
Rachel blushed.
“Oh my god! You’re right it is Finn!” Kurt exclaimed.
“It’s not Finn.” Rachel insisted.
“Ok, who is it then?”
“It’s…..fine, it is Finn, happy?”
“Only if you are.”
“I am.”
“Good. Hey, I thought you were staying over at his place the other night.”
“Well, he’s in town and I stayed at his hotel room.”
“My brother is in town and didn’t tell me? That’s rude.”
“He couldn’t very well say that he was in town to see me when we were trying to keep our relationship a secret.”
“True, now it’s out in the open he might as well stay with us.”
