Chapter 8

Today was it, the beginning for this camping trip and Kurt was dying because not only will this be outdoor where there is no mall near by but it would be filled with guys just playing in mud; MUD! And Mud does not clash with a McQueen shirt. Kurt counted his bags: 3, which is less luggage than expected but then again, this is a stupid camping trip.

The only reason as to why he agreed was to see who this guy Blaine was talking to on the phone. Yes, he was jealous but he has the right to be, yeah? Kurt smiled and slung one of the bag over his shoulder and carried the other two upstairs to find two other bags set at the front door- wait, did those people (Blaine and Finn) actually think that a whole weekend will last that one suitcase?! Oh My Gaga, this is totally out of control.

Kurt rolled his eyes and kept his things set and prepared before joining the others in the kitchen, he noticed that they all were wolfing down their breakfast which was very unhealthy and not proper and could cause a choking incident but no matter how many times Kurt would say those stupid shit, the three other men will not and never listen to him.

He grabbed the carton of OJ and poured himself a glass, he watched the other men in the room while he drank it down not bothered by the fact that some of the juice was dripping out the corner of his mouth.

He was done with the glass and placed it in the sink before sitting down next to Blaine as it was the only available seat left, it was hard for Kurt not to cry but he stayed strong. He reached forward to grab some scrabbled eggs and waffles before he started eating like a decent human being and not like the other boys around the table.

"Gosh! I seriously can't wait until we leave for this camping trip!" Finn exclaimed with a huge smile. "Seriously, this is going to be awesome!" OK, Finn maybe working but that doesn't mean that he ain't still that not smart kid at heart. Kurt and Blaine rolled their eyes at the same time but had an amused smile lingering on their lips which Burt had seen making him feel a bit protective.

"But um Finn," Burt started causing Finn and everyone else to look at him. "Take care of little Kurtie for me,"

"Dad, I'm not nine. I'm sixteen!"

"I know but you might get hurt-"

"I'll be fine, dad."

Then after that comes that awkward silence, everyone's eyes looking around trying to get another topic started. Finn's eyes snapped towards the clock on the wall and gasped.

"We have to get going, the guys will be here in like ten minutes and I still need to find fresh pairs of pants." Finn got up and ran upstairs, Kurt's face with disgust and shook his head,

"Does he even have any fresh pants?"

"I don't think so Kurt," Blaine smirked. "Ask him, I mean, he is your brother after all..." Kurt's eyes widen in horror at the comment Blaine had just stated. "I mean there is nothing wrong with asking your brother if he actually had fresh underwears."

"Shut up, Blaine!" Kurt yelled, getting up and walking towards his luggage, un-zipping his backpack and taking out his phone. "Please let Mercedes and the girls get up..."

Beep!

Beep!

Kurt glared at his phone and tossed it back into the bag, zipping it up just in time for all the three other men in the house to walk towards the hall. Burt smiled and shook his head at the amount of bags he had, Finn rolled his eyes and Blaine, however, was shocked.

"Um Kurt, it's only the weekend." Blaine said, still staring at the bags. Kurt's mouth dropped, and crossed his arms.

"Well excuse me, but everyday will be different which means I need different clothing choices."

"Kurt the tent ain't that big for those bags," Finn argued while opening the front door to find a van already parked outside, Blaine grinned and rushed out with Finn leaving Kurt to frown and glare. Burt laughed and shook his head, stretching out an arm around his son's neck.

"It's going to be alright, kid."

"No dad, it isn't." Kurt mumbled. "I mean I remember you telling me that when I grow older I can do all those things with them but guess what I feel like I'm nine again, asking you if I can marry Blaine." Burt was surprised by the last bit.

"Wait, Blaine?"

"Uh nevermind... I gotta go,"

"No you-Hey you guys!" Burt said as all the old friends came closer to the doorway with Finn and Blaine. "Kurt, remember Jeff, Nick, David, Wes and Puck?" Kurt took his time to think and then nodded with a fake smile,

"The douchbags that decided to laugh at my proposal when I was nine," Kurt spoke without trembling or re-thinking, everyone seem to taken back by his outburst. "Hi, it's a pleasure to see you all again."

"I'm Wes-"

"I think I know who everyone is... especially you, I mean your the Asian guy." Wes was hurt and walked backwards a bit before David stopped him and gave him an assuring smile. "Now, let's get going." Burt shook his head, knowing what his son was doing but smiled and hugged them all good bye but made Kurt go last.

"What are you planning, Kurt?"

"Nothin Dad,"

"Don't play the innocent card, Kid, I know you're up to something..." Kurt sighed and crossed his arms.

"I just want to see if they can put up with my bitchy-ness." Burt laughed heartly, "What?"

"You are like your mother," Burt sighed and hugged his son good-bye. "Take care, kid." Kurt nodded and picked up his bags and walked over to the group that was already getting ready to get in the van.

Blaine was shocked at what Kurt had said to Wes, it was such a horrible thing and since they all moved to New York they had never heard that type of insult. They all slowly said good-bye to Burt and Kurt decided to go last, the group went near the van and started speaking.

"Woah, what the hell was that?"

"I don't know..." Wes whispered. "I was just being polite..."

"I don't think we want him to come with us," Nick mumbled, Blaine's heart beating way too fast.

"He was very rude..." Jeff said with an angry expression.

"He doesn't seem like that little nine year old the last time we saw him." Puck joined the conversation. "He seems a little up-tight."

"Dude, he has fucking three bags and-"

"Wait, I'm camping with him!" Jeff exclaimed in pure anger. "I am sharing a fucking tent with that douchbag."

"Hey guys," Blaine said, everyone's attention going onto him. "Relax, we'll see how this goes, OK?" Everyone seemed to agree just in time as Kurt made his way over to them.

"Oh you all are still here, good." Kurt smiled, he turned to David. "Help me carry my bag?"

"Sure," David answered, rolling his eyes before giving Blaine a death glare. Blaine smiled nervously and shrugged, watching Kurt get in the van. "Where the hell am I suppose to put all these?" Kurt turns his head to look back,

"I don't know but I think you will find out," Kurt replied. "And you better," Kurt moved to the back and sat down beside the window. Jeff and Nick rolled their eyes and sat down beside Kurt, Jeff closer to the paler boy. Puck and Finn sat in front, Wes taking the wheel with Blaine and David in front of Kurt, Jeff and Nick.

"OK, here we go." David cheered as Wes started to drive away, Kurt sighed and took out his phone and started texting his friends, waiting for a reply:

Babe, I'm off! -K

A few seconds later, Kurt felt his phone vibrate and he unlocked it and checked and almost dropped it once he found out who he sent the message to.

Sexy, I'll help... ;) -Blake

Kurt was scared shitless, he hasn't spoken to this freak since they broke up!

Wrong person! Sorry, I have to go... -K

No, let's chat. -Blake

Kurt re-read it not knowing what to do with the situation as this was like a first time for him to talk to his ex, should he? Is it a bad idea?  Well no one ever told him that so why the fuck not? Kurt smiled and typed:

OK, then. What's up? -K

Other than my dick? Nothin', you?  -Blake

Kurt giggled, not noticing the stares he got from the rest of the boys.

Haha, when is it ever down? ;)

And Nothin' much, just goin' on this camping trip with family. -K

Jeff noticed how much giggles came out of the porcelain boy beside him and started to wonder who the person he was talking to.

Well maybe you can jerk off and film it for a special someone... me, perhaps? ;) -Blake

Fuck no, this was a mistake... good-bye Blake. -K

Kurt sighed in relief when Blake did not reply back, he noticed how Jeff and Nick were cuddling beside each other, holding hands with smiles on their faces along with the loving faces they had for each other.

Kurt looked away and ignored the single tear that fell, he knew how it felt to be loved and to feel loved but he also knew how much it hurts to leave the other person behind or if you caught them cheating on you. Jeff, however, saw that tear and instantly felt bad- Kurt had feelings and reasons to be that selfish and maybe the outer image isn't what the actual inner image was, maybe Jeff just needed to dig and help the poor boy out.

Jeff did also notice that Kurt watched them with such intense, he knew that Kurt was watching their love for each other and knew that something must had happened for him to turn up to be like this and Jeff will find a way to squeeze it out of the porcelain boy.

They had finally arrived at their spot and the boys could not help but cheer, Kurt just rolled his eyes and got out after the yelling and cheering boys that were running off trying to jump and climb on trees, they looked pathetic.

He looked around and smiled at a spot he found, it was shaded by the tree but still able to get some sun, so it had a warm and cold combination of wind- thank goodness for Geography class. Kurt sighed and sat down on the ground- which would be pretty shocking if he was still in Lima, Ohio, in his school but now that he's free, he deserves some peace and quiet.

He noticed how all the boys had stopped and got their tents out, taking them to different places yet it formed a perfect circle. Kurt got up and walked over to Jeff who started carrying the tent to a different direction, he ran to stop him.

"Hey um where are we going to stay?"

"Um Over there," Jeff answered, pointing at the horrible place next to Nick and Wes's tent. Jeff was slightly confused as to why Kurt was asking such questions, "Why?"

"Um... can I pick the spot?"

"Wait, where do you wanna start our tent?"

"Over there," Kurt pointed at the place where he was sitting before he incountered with the other boy. "It's a perfect place and it's pretty safe..."

"Why should I trust you?"

"I'm going to sleep with you, aren't I?"

Jeff's eyes widen in surprised as how wrong that sounded.

"No, not like that... I meant, I'm sharing a tent with you..."

"Oh yeah um, OK." Jeff moved over to the spot where Kurt picked, everyone noticed the sudden change and was very much confused and slightly pissed. Nick's eyes followed Jeff's face that looked confused, he couldn't handle this any more, this is not right! Wes was fed up, he walked over and yanked Kurt.

"Listen princess, you better fucking be a fucking polite ass shit or else I will fucking kill you-" Those words struck through Kurt, memories flooded back and he couldn't breath but he didn't cry, not anymore he didn't. Everyone was shocked, Blaine and Finn ran up to Wes, pulling him off. "We fucking invited you, get your fucking bags yourself my fucking fair princess!" Wes shoved the others and walked back to the tent, Blaine wanted to hug Kurt but he knew that he couldn't.

Kurt's heart broke, slowly by slowly, aching and stabbed really hard, he shook his head and looked over at Jeff. "You don't have to stay with me, move with Nick..."

"I.." Jeff couldn't say anything else, he sighed and walked over to help the other build their tents. Everyone looked back at Kurt who picked up everything, even his bags, and started fixing it all by himself. After that, everyone seemed to ignore him.

Kurt couldn't stand staying here, he picked everything up and walked further ahead where it was still close to the others but still sort of far away, he picked a better spot and started building. He looked up at the sky and then noticed the wind changed- it was going to snow tonight.

He looked at the others behind some trees and noticed how all of them were busy building and joking around to notice him. He sighed and started a fire, cooking as much as he can and at the same time, building his tent and fixing everything to make it cosy and warm- he choked and started crying, all his emotions flooding out of him like a river.

Karofsky's tongue shoved into his mouth, the touching, the grabbing, the name calling, everything just smacked him and it hurt. He tried to ignore it but it came and never went away, he finished up, all his bags and cooked food inside the tent. He took out his phone and checked the time, 5:50pm which was close to dinner time meaning that it would snow soon.

He shook his head and opened up one of his bags, taking out a wooled jumper along with a shirt and some trousers and a pair of socks, he changed into the warmer outfit. He brought out the flashlightto use when it gets really dark) and his book he brought from home and started reading; he smiled as he read through, not really caring if someone was looking for him.

Everyone was done setting up with their tents, everyone joking about and singing, laughing and giggling over shitty memories until Jeff noticed that Kurt wasn't with them, his stomach turned. He looked back to the spot they all last saw him and he wasn't there, nor the tent; he looked around the other side and he wasn't there.

"Babe, are you OK?"

"Nick... everyone... K-Kurt, he isn't here..." Jeff said with his eyes wide open. Blaine froze, everyone stopped and looked around, Wes feeling really bad for what he said. "I... oh my God! What if something happened to him?"

"No, we-we have to find him!" Finn yelled, his heart beating fast. "That's my little brother... I..."

"No we will find hi-" WOOSH! Everyone froze and shook, the cold wind blew right by them and then...."What the?" Everyone looked up and went pale. "It's snowing...we have no other clothing but.. and K-kurt isn't here and is probably out there.." Jeff was nervous, scared for the porcelain boy. Nick sighed and hugged his boyfriend, everyone knew that they had at least an hour until they had to go back in their tent as the snow could get worst.

"Everyone find Kurt and bring him back." Blaine barked, everyone running off in different directions but not in the right path.
