Author's Notes: Short update today! I thought about beefing it up, but it feels about right, so this is what you get haha. Enjoy--

"Blainey-boo."

Blaine grumbled into the arm of the sofa, "Wes... Shut. Up."

"Blainers!"

Blaine covered his head with a pillow.

"Blainey-day!"

Blaine tossed the pillow in Wes' direction without looking up.

"Blainey-bear?"

"He has a boyfriend," Blaine sighed into the couch, "The guy from the beach?"

Wes' face fell, "Oh."

"Like, a crazy one."

"Oh?"

"Like, suicidal-crazy."

"Alright Frodo, sit up and explain this to me."

Slowly, very slowly, Blaine shifted to something close to sitting and looked up at his best friend with big, sad puppy eyes. He told Wes about Kurt, how they'd run into each other and gotten coffee, how he thought he might have actually found a guy, how that guy had a crazy-ass boyfriend.

How he'd agreed to see Kurt again.

"Woah, woah. Really?"

Blaine sighed, "I know...Should I cancel? I don't wanna get involved with a guy that's taken, but...I really like him. And, I know he isn't happy."

"Okay, but do you wanna get involved with a guy and his insane boyfriend? The guy sounds not right in the head. I mean, if they dated for four months and he got all weird I can't imagine what he's like if they've been going out for over a year. Common Blaine," Wes raised his eyebrows, "do you really think that's going to end well? For anyone."

They sat in silence for a while, before Blaine said, "I think this is his dad."

Blaine showed Wes a picture on Kurt's phone of Kurt, Burt, Carole, and Finn, all smiling from ear-to-ear.

"You went through his phone? Really man?"

"I think that's his step-brother. He doesn't have any pictures of his boyfriend I don't think. I couldn't find any..."

"You have it bad."

"I know..."

--

He examined his reflection in his phone, checking for the millionth time that there wasn't a hair out of place. Kurt knew he shouldn't be so nervous, but he was. With a deep breath, Kurt walked into the café and looked for Blaine.

His heart fell.

"Kurt," the big guy behind the counter called, "I got something for you. Your friend dropped it off earlier."

"Thanks," Kurt smiled, trying to mask his disappointment, "tall non-fat mocha? Don't skip the whipped cream today, Tom."

Tom eyed Kurt and rang him up, with extra care not to ask any questions. Kurt was always a little ball of sunshine, it wasn't hard to tell something was wrong. However, he'd seen Kurt get bitchy on the phone before, so he figured he'd steer clear unless Kurt offered to talk about it,

"There you go, I'll bring it over kid."

Kurt nodded and took his phone to a table in the corner. He flipped through his contacts hopefully, but there were no new numbers for him.

--

Blaine rolled around on top of his sheets. He'd shown up at the café early, but chickened-out and left. Wes was right, he really didn't want to get involved with whatever mess Kurt's relationship was. Of course he regretted ditching Kurt, but what was done was done, and now it was time to forget the blue-eyed boy and move on. He thought he'd heard Wes calling up from the kitchen at him, but his door was closed so he ignored it. It wasn't even noon, but Blaine decided it was time for bed, so he pulled off his jeans and slunk under the covers.
