Author's Notes: I haven't updated this in about two months, because I was moving and I have a new job that's starting up soon, but Glee is back and so am I! I had this posted before with a lot of views and then I accidentally deleted the story while trying to post this chapter, so I hope it's worth the effort it took me to re-do everything!

It's a simple kiss, really. The soft, slow slide of lips really isn't anything all that special, but it makes a tight heat pool in the pit of Kurt's stomach. Blaine must be feeling the same thing, because he lifts a hand to cup Kurt's cheek, angling him just so and there's the barest caress of tongues, making something constrict in Kurt's chest, because no kiss has ever felt so... He reaches to grasp at Blaine shirt-- “MROW!

They break apart, almost jumping out of their skins at the unexpected interruption. Both heads turn to see Toby sitting less than a foot away, staring at them with a most unamused look on his face.

They're silent for a long moment, Toby staring them down unblinkingly, until a loud burst of laughter escapes from Blaine. Kurt looks at him. His lips are a little swollen and spit-slicked from their kiss and are pulled back into a gorgeous smile as he laughs so hard his eyes crinkle in the corners and Kurt can't help but laugh with him. And maybe it should feel more awkward than it does, because Kurt can't think that it feels anything butcomfortable, being tangled with Blaine on the floor of his apartment, being glared at by a grumpy feline.

Kurt helps himself off the floor and offers Blaine a hand. Their laughter has died out and Blaine looks up at him, nearly forgetting to breathe when he sees the light sparkle in Kurt's eyes he's sure wasn't there ten minutes ago. He bites his lip to suppress a smile and takes Kurt's hand. “Thank you,” he murmurs, taking the preoffered hand and dusting his pants off once he's upright.

Kurt just smiles at him. A sweet, closed-lip smile that accentuates the pretty blush across his cheeks. Blaine wonders if it's silly to feel so shy with someone once you've had your tongue in their mouth. “So,” Kurt says, his voice breathy and making Blaine shiver.

So,” Blaine echos.

The pause that follows is brief, before Kurt launches himself forward to capture Blaine's lips again, arms over his shoulders and holding him close, bodies pressed together and Blaine's so solid and warm... Blaine's hands find Kurt's hips, gripping them with enough pressure to make Kurt gasp a soft moan into his mouth.

This kiss is nothing like the soft, slow kiss they shared previously. This is quick and messy, tongues thrusting against each other and hands scrambling to grip whatever they can to bring them closer. Kurt's teeth scrape along Blaine's bottom lip and he groans, pulling Kurt's hips flush against his. Kurt's head falls back as he gasps and Blaine's mouth is there, sucking his pulse point in an instant and- “MROOOOOOOW!

They stop, both gasping and panting and—yup, definitely hard. Blaine lets his head fall forward to rest on Kurt's shoulder and Kurt glares over to the couch where Toby is now perched, still with the judgmental glint to his dumb green eyes. Blaine breathes out a laugh, burying his face in Kurt's neck.

I've never felt so judged by an animal in my life,” he says. Kurt laughs.

ROW!Toby calls again.

Alright, alright! I'll feed you, jeez...” Kurt pulls away from Blaine with a swift kiss to his temple before walking to the kitchen, Toby on his heels. Blaine would swear he heard Kurt mutter, “I should rename you Cockblock...”

Blaine grins and lets himself do a little dance of triumph before Kurt returns. He can't wait to tell—his face falls. Right. He and Cooper aren't talking.

No matter. Nothing can bring him down after a day like this. Nothing.

End Notes: Chapter dedicated to Charlene Kaye, who I met last month and this story is named for her songs. So thanks for the inspiration, Charlene.
