"Yeah, I think so"
"Alright then, ready to go?"
"Yep"
Kurt and his dad stood awkwardly in the driveway for a minute before shuffling over to their respective vehicles and getting in.
Kurt and his dad had just finished packing most of his things into boxes and suitcases.
Today was the day Kurt moved to his new school. Yes, moved. He would soon be attending a boarding school and was both excited and extremely nervous. It would be a good change though. After sporting nasty bruises for as long as he could remember, Kurt's dad had finally been pushed over the edge when he found out the boy's main tormentor has threatened his life. The school board lifted his expulsion and Burt reached his limit. He told Kurt that he meant too much to him for him to allow him to be subjected to the kind of abuse he received at Mckinley anymore. He had heard about a school up near Columbus that had a strictly enforced zero tolerance bullying policy that he thought would be a much better place for his son.
Kurt had looked over the information and after initially telling his dad it was too much money, he eventually was convinced that it was worth it to be safe.
Kurt wasn't thrilled about boarding, though. Actually, he was secretly terrified. It was pretty obvious that he was gay, and if he thought the harassment he recieved whenever he went into the locker room was bad, how would a roommate react to having to share a room with a 'fag' who was always trying to 'sneak a peak' at him while he was changing.
Zero tolerance bullying policy or not, teenage boys' ignorance will still get the best of them.
His father was so confident in this though, so he kept his concerns silent
