Author's Notes: My apologies if it's not too Klainey for you guys, but it's somewhat of a filler and it's setting up for a little more story! Hope you guys enjoyed this longer bit that I wrote.
Part 3
Tiptoeing out into the hall, Kurt tried to make as little sound as possible, he didn't want to disturb anyone else let alone the sleeping man that was Blaine. Gingerly smiling at a little boy who was walking with his mom, a single tear dripped down from his eye as he reminisced for just a split second on the memories of he and his mother. Pushing that to the back of his head for the moment, he headed out to the main area where both the Hudson-Hummel and Anderson families were waiting.

"Blaine's okay, he's asleep right now, and the doctor couldn't stress enough on how much rest was actually needed for a good and healthy recovery," he boldly spoke, his words carrying across the room as if they were a boast in a torrential downpour.

Making his way back to his family he sat down in between his father and Finn and contently sighed, knowing that everything was going to be alright and that the men who did this to them were going to get caught and there would be definite hell to pay by the time Kurt was done with them.

"We're going to find the guys who did this, okay?" Burt said, reassuring Blaine's parents and patting Kurt slightly on the shoulder. Embracing Kurt with a tight squeeze, it was actually pretty difficult for Burt not to get emotional after a time like this, his eyes watered and fluttered, but, he had to keep cool.

"You did good Kurt, I'm very proud of you, I hope you know that, okay?" he smiled as he kissed the top of his son's head and rubbing his back.

"Okay dad, I know, I know. Just don't me-ugh," he whispered as he put on a half serious half joking stone cold face due to the fact that his father had messed up his hair slightly.

"Yeah, you're okay little dude. If you can still whine about your hair like that, you have to be fine," Finn laughed as he barely punched Kurt on the shoulder and gave off that boyish grin that seems to always be plastered upon him.

Sure it was a happy moment for them now, but everyone had completely forgotten about Blaine's parents who could very well be going through a more rough time, especially since it was their son who got stabbed. Burt looked over at the Anderson family and nodded his head slightly toward Bill, Blaine's father.

"I'm really sorry about Blaine but, he's okay now. Is there anything we can do to help you guys in the meantime?" Burt asked with a curious, yet appreciative tone and face to match it.

"Just stop while you're there," Bill replied with a cold expression, his tone dead and morose. Crossing his arms and sitting up straight, he breathed through his nostrils and glared over at Kurt. "If it wasn't for him being... you know, this would never have happened. If your son hadn't decided to gay up my son this could have been avoided!"

Everyone was completely stunned, Kurt, Finn, Mrs. Anderson as well sat there with their jaws open at the remarks. Mrs. Anderson wanted to defend them, but she was too afraid to contest against Bill so she just quickly looked down at her hands and crossed her legs. Burt, on the other hand, wouldn't deal with this type of talk. As he was about to open his mouth, Kurt stood up and quickly walked away, tears streaming down his cheek.
"Finn, go help your brother. Now." Burt calmly whispered to Finn with a dead set and serious color in his eyes.
"Yeah... okay," Finn replied as he jumped up and followed Kurt quietly to console him.

"I don't know who you think you are judging OUR sons like that, but that's got to be one of the worst things I've ever heard from anyone. Don't you dare interrupt me right now. How dare you look down upon Blaine, YOUR son for being who he is. Blaine and Kurt are a beautiful couple with so much between them that I honestly think they'll be getting married one day. It's your responsibility as a father to accept that and love him unconditionally. Sure, I've had rough patches with accepting that my son's gay, but that's not the point, y'know? I got over it and realized that that's who my son is and I wouldn't change him in a million years. You've had more than enough time to actually understand your son but you seemed to have thrown that all away. He talked to me about your relationship quite some time ago, and I can easily say that I'm sickened by that. I love my son, and I'm not going to stand for someone who disrespects him," Burt proudly said, his voice slightly elevated as to not be interrupted by the opposing father.

"You know, he was perfectly fine without your stupid son," he quickly backfired as he quickly stood up. Bill grabbed his wife's hand forcefully and stormed out of the hospital, infuriated by what Burt had to say. Forgetting all about Blaine at the moment, they drove off back to their house, leaving the Hudson-Hummel family to themselves.

"Well... that went better than I thought it would go," Burt whispered to Carole and taking her hand and putting her arm around her.

Meanwhile, Kurt was in the bathroom, his hands tightly gripped around the sink as the tears flowed out of his eyes at a pace that was equivalent to the faucet spitting out globs and streams of water. Not hearing Finn come in, he put his forehead to the edge of it and gripped his hands even tighter.

"You okay little bro?" Finn curiously asked, pursing his lips out of curiosity and heading over to where Kurt was. Putting his arm around him and hugging him as hard as he could, Finn wasn't about to let go of him unless he was about to die from his lungs collapsing due to the gargantuan man's grip.

"Yeah... I'm okay... it's just, Blaine has always had a lot of problems with his dad, but I never figured that he would say that while his son could have died not too long ago, it doesn't make any sense. You would think that he could've had some remorse and wait till Blaine was better to say something that rude while his son is sleeping in a hospital cot," whispered Kurt as he felt the tight squeeze and slightly whispered out "You're hurting me Finn," so maybe he could finally breathe again.

"Oh... sorry 'bout that dude. But yeah, don't worry about what he says, you and Blaine have each other and that's all that matters, okay? As much as I love to mess with you at home, I don't really like to see you cry. You're not fun to witness cry because you're always so sad and it makes me really sad too," he replied as he let go of Kurt smiled.

"Come on, let's go back to mom and dad and head home. I'm not giving you a choice either, but Blaine will be okay," whispered the taller man as he put both of his hands on Kurt's shoulders and wheeled him out. Nodding at their parents, Finn walked out the main building, Carole and Burt quickly following behind. As they got in the car, Kurt realized how tired he was from it all and as soon as they loaded up the car, he was out cold.

End Notes: Hope you guyed enjoyed it! Part 4 is in the writing!

I'm really liking this! I love the strength of the bond between Kurt and Blaine - Kurt's worry over Blaine is so easy to feel, because you communicate it realy well. And in chapter 3, I have huge, huge love for the Hudmels, and the way you had them, and standing up to Blaine's parents was perfect! I can't wait for more!

Yay! More! :)
