"There's not that much left to go through," Blaine replied, "just a few more drawers on your vanity and the bottom of your closet." Kurt heard the drawer on his vanity pull open, and Blaine pull out a heavy object. He shot up in bed and stared at Blaine in horror. Blaine wasn't looking at him though – he was staring at the binder in his hands, the binder in which he kept all of his hand written drafts of his fanfiction.
"Please don't!" Kurt exclaimed, but it was too late. Blaine had opened the binder and was examining the contents.
"Kurt," he choked out, looking like he was torn between being shocked and laughing. "Is this what I think it is?"
"Shut up, okay? It was before I met you."
"And before Toby showed up on the show," Blaine said, smirking. "Just who is this Jeremiah I'm supposed to love to so much?"
"Do you really not remember the guy James serenaded at the Gap?" Kurt asked. "I had it all planned out. James and Jeremiah would admit their feelings despite their age difference and eventually move in together, get married, and raise 2.5 kids and obnoxiously make their names start with the letter 'J' as well."
Blaine burst out laughing, his shoulders shaking from the force of it.
"Stop it," Kurt whined. "Come on. Most of fandom reads and writes fic. It's what you do."
"I know," Blaine told him, still chuckling. "I can just picture you writing this out, too."
"I hate you," Kurt muttered, flopping back onto the bed, his face red with embarrassment. "And that particular fic got several hundred reblogs on Tumblr before I deleted my account." That sobered Blaine up quickly – any reference to that dark time in their relationship was often like a being doused with cold water.
"Well, this definitely needs to come to New York," Blaine smiled, putting a blue post it on the binder cover.
"No way," Kurt refused. "It can go into storage or something."
"But how will I read them all if we don't take them?" Blaine teased.
"You won't," Kurt laughed, flinging himself off the bed at Blaine, going for the Binder. It tumbled from Blaine's lap to the floor as Blaine caught Kurt against him.
There was a scramble to pick it up and Blaine let out a victorious, "Yes!" when he got his hands on it.
"Blaine, please," Kurt murmured. "It's embarrassing."
"I'm sorry," Blaine apologized. "I should've..." He moved to close the binder and stopped as something caught his eye. He lifted his gaze to meet Kurt's. "Kurt... did you write Twilight fanfiction starring you and Taylor Lautner?"
Kurt let out a squeak and snatched the binder, slamming it shut and putting it back in the drawer. Blaine pulled Kurt back into his arms. "So... you were a little obsessed with me."
"Obsession is such a strong word," Kurt replied lightly. "And it was James that I was fascinated by."
"Sure it was," Blaine said, clearly not believing him.
"Shut up," Kurt laughed, still red in the face. "You found out my deep dark secret. Does it freak you out?"
"Nope," Blaine answered, speaking softly and staring into Kurt's eyes. "It's hot."
Kurt swallowed hard at the heat he saw in Blaine's eyes and let his embarrassment go as Blaine maneuvered him to the bed.
