Kurt was nervous. He’d never done anything quite like what he and Blaine were about to do – opening themselves up to the public. It was one thing to go on Ellen or talk with reporters on the red carpet. This was going to be about him and Blaine and the fans.

He didn’t know what to expect. Kurt had been part of the Dalton fandom before he’d even met Blaine. He knew how crazy it could be; for every amazing fan, there would be one who insisted on causing trouble or stirring something up or asking embarrassing questions.

Kurt kind of felt like they were opening Pandora’s Box or something.

“You okay?” Blaine asked, sitting down in the chair next to him. They’d already cleared the livestream with their parents; Kurt’s father had been reluctant to let them do it, but Julie had talked him around when they’d phoned her about it. Carole was all for it – she loved it when celebrities went out of their way to interact with their fans (and Blaine had been completely embarrassed to be called a celebrity. Kurt had gotten a lot of enjoyment out of teasing him about it). Blaine’s mother had just kissed him on the head and told him she was headed to Westerville to spend time with his dad.

That had not gone over well with Blaine but he couldn’t talk her out of it. He’d tried but she’d insisted. Kurt had almost called the livestream off but Blaine had just shook his head and said they should do it.

Kurt’s parents were downstairs in case they were needed. Finn had disappeared somewhere with Rachel as a favor to Kurt so that Rachel wouldn’t try to drop in unannounced on their livestream.

“Soooo…are we ready to do this?” Kurt got Blaine’s attention from where he was lost in thought, sitting on Kurt’s bed.

They were going to use Blaine’s laptop for the livestream and track stuff on Kurt’s computer, like questions and fan reactions and see if it was something they’d entertain doing again.

“Well, it’s eight, so let’s get to it before there’s a riot or something,” Blaine said, laughing.

“What’s funny is you think that’s a joke,” Kurt muttered, leaning forward and turning the camera on so they were currently streaming. He eyeballed the chatroom. It was packed with people, talking with each other and even some questions already.

“Hi, guys!” Blaine exclaimed, waving at the camera. “Kurt and I thought it would be fun to do a livestream and answer questions and stuff.”

“We’ll be here for the next hour with you guys,” Kurt added. He glanced at Blaine. “Should we get started?”

They peered at the screen, glancing through the questions. “Oh, here’s one – first thing you grab in the morning,” Kurt read aloud. He and Blaine exchanged a look. “My phone,” They replied in unison before laughing.

“Ummm, okay - what was your reaction when you saw a picture of Kurt for the first time?” Kurt hid his face behind his hands at Blaine’s words. “Let me just say, it took me weeks of begging before he’d even send me a picture,” Blaine answered. “I thought he was the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen.”

Kurt could feel himself turning red and wanting to stave off the embarrassment, found another question. “First celebrity crush? Oh, Patti LuPone.”

“Britney Spears,” Blaine admitted. Kurt turned to him, surprised. “What? She was hot.” He leaned forward and picked another. “Oh, I like this one - How do you guys manage to keep a stable relationship while one of you is filming and the other is at school?”

“We work at it,” Kurt answered. “It’s not always easy. There’s a time difference and Blaine’s on set a lot where he can’t get to his phone right away.”

“We make sure to text and call each other throughout the day and some nights we do Skype chats. I fly out to Ohio a lot,” Blaine continued. “We love each other and we want it to work, so we make it.” He looked at Kurt. “You pick one.”

“Okay, let’s see…” Kurt scanned the questions, eyes widening when he saw someone asking if they were having sex - so not answering that one. “Kurt – how do you feel about Blaine’s character having a boyfriend on the show?” He paused for a moment. “Actually, I think it’s great. I’m not crazy about him kissing someone else, but it’s his job, and I get that. What’s more important is that James having a boyfriend and being this popular kid at school really just sends a great message out there, I think. Teenagers should see this stuff on their TVs.”

“What’s your favorite thing about each other? Or pet peeve?” Blaine read and then laughed. “My favorite thing about Kurt is the way he just… loves with his whole heart.” Kurt smiled but he knew he was turning red again. Blaine seemed out to embarrass him.

“Mine is the way you say my name,” Kurt murmured.

“Really?” Blaine replied. Kurt nodded. “I’ll keep that in mind.” He grinned. “Pet peeve?”

“You’re oblivious,” Kurt told him. “I mean, really, Blaine.”

“I am not,” Blaine protested with a laugh. Kurt just arched an eyebrow at him. “Okay, okay. Ummm, mine would have to be your stubbornness.”

“I’m right a lot,” Kurt whispered to the camera. Blaine poked him in the side and Kurt jumped. “Hey, just remember what happened the last time you did that.”

“Oh, I remember,” Blaine teased. Kurt locked eyes with him and felt his cheeks flushing. Was Blaine really flirting with them in front of several thousand of their fans? “Here – what celebrity would you go straight for?”

“Really? That’s the one you picked?” Kurt asked.

“Hush and answer the question,” Blaine said.

“I can’t do both,” Kurt pointed out.

“Emma Stone,” Blaine gave his answer.

“Julia Roberts,” Kurt finally spoke. “I’m picking the next one.” Blaine made a ‘be my guest’ gesture. He scanned the chat, trying to ignore all the posts requesting that they kiss. They were growing steadily, probably because he and Blaine couldn’t stop flirting with each other.
“Kurt, what are your post-graduation plans? Have you ever considered going into the fashion industry?” he read. “Well, right now I’ve applied to NYADA – the New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts - and a couple of back up schools in New York. Provided I get in, I’ll probably move to New York sometime next summer. I’d like to eventually be on Broadway but I’d never rule out doing something fashion related.”

“A follow up question for you,” Blaine spoke up. “What role would you want to play on Broadway?”

“Anything from Wicked,” Kurt immediately answered. “It’s my favorite.”

“Hmmm,” Blaine hummed, searching the list for another question. “Hah – they want to know if you have a fanmail address.”

“Uh, no,” Kurt replied. “I’ve never had a need for one. But I do have a Tumblr.” He grinned. “And yes, I’ve seen all the porn.”

“Let’s see,” Blaine peered at the screen again.

“That one’s a good one,” Kurt pointed. “If you found a magic lamp, what would your three wishes be?”

“Wow,” Blaine leaned back, clearly deep in thought. “I guess, continued success as an actor, health for my family, and marriage equality in all fifty states.”

Marriage? Kurt raised an eyebrow at Blaine, but didn’t comment. “I’m going to steal one of yours and say health for my family, success on Broadway, and getting into college.” He searched for another question. “Blaine, did you ever see yourself dating a fan before you met Kurt?”

“No,” Blaine admitted. “Not that you guys aren’t all amazing – I love you all. I just figured that if I dated a fan I’d never know if they were with me because of me or if it was because I was famous. It was just luck that I found Kurt and he didn’t care if I was famous or not.”

“And I still don’t,” Kurt agreed. “You could walk away from acting right now and I wouldn’t even blink as long as it was something you were sure you wanted.”

“I think we’ve got time for one more,” Blaine told him, giving him an adoring look before glancing at his watch. “Why do you think it is important for a couple like you guys to exist in the public eye?” he sat back in his chair. “I think it’s important because there are kids out there just like us who need to know they’re not alone.”

“I never thought I’d ever meet someone like Blaine,” Kurt admitted. He reached out and took Blaine’s hand. “I’d pretty much doomed myself to being single and alone through high school.” He paused, smiling. “But then there he was.”

He was surprised when Blaine leaned over and kissed him gently. He was staring at Blaine in shock when Blaine pulled away and turned off the camera.

“I can’t believe you just did that,” Kurt stuttered out when he finally found his voice.

“Don’t hate me?” Blaine asked. “I just had to… after what you said…”

Kurt kissed him, ceasing his words. His fingers tangled in Blaine’s hair as the kiss intensified. Blaine tugged him up and they moved toward the bed instinctively.

“My parents are downstairs!” Kurt hissed against his lips when Blaine’s hand cupped his hardening cock.

“Well,” Blaine told him as he started to move his hand, rubbing. Kurt’s eyes rolled up into his head and a moan escaped. “You’re just going to have to be quiet.”
