“Wow, Nick,” Jeff said, settling back into his chair as Blaine walked into the makeup trailer. “I'd say our boy looks like the cat that ate the canary.”

“Indeed he does, my good man,” Nick agreed.

“I wonder if that could have anything to do with his weekend guest,” Jeff continued.

“I'd wager that is a good guess,” Nick replied.

Blaine was glaring at them both now, but they kept talking.

“He does sort of have an afterglow about him.” Jeff grinned.

“Yes.” Nick smiled too. “Most definitely.”

“All we did is kiss,” Blaine finally snapped, and then his mouth fell open. He hadn't meant to say anything about that yet.

“Yes!” Jeff exclaimed, exchanging a high five with Nick. Blaine closed his eyes. “Dude, pay up,” Jeff said to Nick. “You owe me five bucks.”
