Blaine couldn't remember the last time he'd been grocery shopping. Most of the time he just called and had his food delivered. Considering how little time he actually spent at home, he really didn't keep much food in the house.

Kurt was going to make him a home made dinner and had insisted on picking out the ingredients himself , so they'd stopped at the store after their long day of playing tourist. Kurt pulled out his list and Blaine just watched, observing as he sorted through and picked out the best vegetables and put them in the cart. The process was repeated with a other ingredients and then they moved on, getting pasta and seasonings.

Blaine didn't say much, just pushed the cart behind Kurt.

At one point, Kurt looked up and flushed when he realized Blaine was staring at him. The urge to kiss Kurt right then was overwhelming, but Blaine held it in. He didn't eve know if Kurt felt that way about him. Even if he did, Blaine didn't want their first kiss to be in the middle of some random grocery store where anyone could see.

Kurt declared himself done and they wheeled the cart to the checkout, where Kurt insisted on paying. Blaine beat him to the punch though, swiping his credit card before Kurt could.

“Hey,” he told Kurt when Kurt let out a noise of frustration. “You're feeding me. I should pay.”

“One of these days, Blaine...”

“Oh?” Blaine teased, eyebrows raised. “You're all talk, Hummel.”

“You just wait and see,” Kurt promised. “Now lets get this food home. It's not going to make itself.”

“Wouldn't it be awesome if it did?”

“I'm going to pretend you didn't say that.”
