“Hi, Blaine!” Kurt said, grinning. “Look where I am!” The camera turned and panned around in a circle, and Blaine chuckled as he realized that Kurt was in Times Square. “We’re about to eat lunch and then check into the hotel,” Kurt continued, bringing the camera back to him so Blaine could see his face. “I’ll call you later! I love you!”
Blaine couldn’t stop smiling as he texted Kurt back.
You look like you’re having a blast. I love you, too.
*
Blaine sighed, dialing the phone. He heard Kurt give a breathless “Hello?” before the sound of girls shrieking filled his ears. “Sorry, sorry!” Kurt said into the phone, amidst the screams. “You’re gonna pay for that, Satan!” he suddenly shouted and Blaine had to hold the phone away from his ear.
“Kurt?” Blaine said.
“Sorry, I’m going in the hall now,” Kurt replied, and Blaine could hear it suddenly get quieter. “Okay. Hi.”
“Hi,” Blaine replied, his amusement showing in his tone. “What was that about?”
“Pillow fight,” Kurt answered with a laugh. “I’m in the same room with the girls.”
“Are you serious?” Blaine asked.
“Yep,” Kurt told him. “It’s okay, I prefer it that way. Rachel and I are going to share one of the beds, and I don’t have to worry about the other guys thinking I’m going to cuddle with them in my sleep.”
“Okay, then,” Blaine sighed.
“That doesn’t sound like a good sigh,” Kurt pointed out, his tone changing. “What’s going on?”
“I got my script for the season finale today,” Blaine replied. “You’re not gonna like it. Hell, I don’t like it, but there’s nothing I can do about it.”
“I can guess who it involves.” Kurt’s tone turned dark. “What happens?”
“Toby and James are going to a gay bar,” Blaine muttered. “Then we’re going to make out in the back of a car.”
“Are you serious?” Kurt asked. “I just…”
“I know,” Blaine murmured. “But what can I do?”
“Bite him?” Kurt snapped. “Wait, no, don’t. He’d probably like that.”
Blaine snorted. “You did,” he added slyly.
“Shut up,” Kurt said, sounding embarrassed. “So when do you film this masterpiece?”
“Tomorrow. We film in the bar for most of the day, and then the car scene once it gets dark.”
They fell quiet, and Blaine wished he could see Kurt’s face so he’d know what Kurt was thinking.
“Kurt!” a girl’s voice called through the phone.
“Crap, Rachel’s calling me,” Kurt told him. “I gotta go.”
“Okay,” Blaine agreed. “I’ll call you tomorrow if I can.”
“It’ll be okay, Blaine,” Kurt told him. “I’m not mad and I’m not jealous. I know how you feel about Sebastian.”
“Good,” Blaine breathed out through the phone. They exchanged ‘I love yous’ and hung up. Blaine breathed out a sigh of relief.
*
“What’s that?” Jeff peered over Blaine’s shoulder where he was looking at his phone, giggling coming from the video he was playing. Nick peered over his other shoulder. They were taking a break from filming, the dimly lit bar crowded with extras and crew.
“A video from Kurt,” Blaine answered, smiling. “See?” He held up the phone as Kurt laughed again, and then turned the camera.
“Ta da!” Kurt said, talking to the camera and to Rachel, who was with him. “Look, Blaine!” A bag of bagels appeared in front of the screen, and then the camera panned up to the building in front of them. “Rachel and I having breakfast at Tiffany’s!”
“Tiffany’s, the jewelry company?” Jeff commented. Blaine nodded. Nick looked at Blaine.
“I don’t get it,” he said.
“That’s because you were raised in a cultureless environment,” Jeff teased. Blaine sighed again as they were called back to their places. He was exhausted and it was barely noon. He wasn’t sure how long he could keep “James” in place with Sebastian around. His co-star was gloating about getting to make out with him again, and Blaine had had about enough of it.
*
“Oh, my God, Blaine!” Kurt’s excited voice cut through the din. They’d just made their way outside to start filming, and most of the cast was standing around waiting for lighting and everything to be adjusting just right. Blaine had taken that moment to watch Kurt’s latest video text. He laughed, seeing the struck expression on Kurt’s face. “We’re in the Gershwin Theater!!” Kurt whispered excitedly. “Rachel and I broke in and the security guard let us stay! See!?”
Blaine watched the video, grinning. He’d never seen Kurt so happier than he was right now.
“He’s agreed to tape something, so keep watching!” Suddenly Kurt and Rachel came into focus on the stage and Blaine gasped as they started singing “For Good” from Wicked, with what looked like the Wicked set behind them.
“So you and he worked it out, huh?” Sebastian appeared at Blaine’s side just as the song finished, and Kurt promised to call later.
“Yes, no thanks to you,” Blaine muttered.
“Hey, you were sending me all the right signals,” Sebastian protested.
“No, I wasn’t,” Blaine denied. “I was being friendly. There’s a difference.”
“What does he think about tonight, knowing we’re going to be-"
“He understands,” Blaine snapped, whirling and facing Sebastian. “He understands that this is my job, and he knows that I can’t stand you after what you did. Don’t make anything more out of it than it is.”
*
“Good morning, Sunshine!” Kurt chirped in his ear. Blaine put his hand over his face.
“Kurt, time difference,” he grunted into his phone. How he’d managed to answer it, Blaine had no idea. Filming had run until midnight and then he’d been unable to sleep for hours.
“I know, I know,” Kurt murmured. “But we’re about to head off to the competition, and I needed to hear your voice.”
“Break a leg,” Blaine sighed. “Knock ‘em dead.”
“We will. Go back to sleep.” Blaine was asleep before he could even properly hang up his phone.
*
“Oh, my God,” Kurt said, instead of a greeting with Blaine called him that afternoon. “This wait is going to kill me.”
“That bad?”
“You have no idea,” Kurt groaned. “Rachel and Finn practically made out on stage, so everyone’s about to kill them for jeopardizing our chances and some of these other groups are really good, Blaine.”
“Whoa, Kurt. Breathe,” Blaine managed to interject. “One thing at a time,” he laughed. “First – Rachel and Finn kissed?”
“Yeah,” Kurt replied. “On stage in front of everyone, right in the middle of our set.”
“Wow. I’m all for passion, but that’s a little unprofessional,” Blaine commented.
“Tell me about it,” Kurt agreed, “But our second number killed, I think.”
“That’s good,” Blaine said.
“I had Mr. Schue record it,” Kurt told him. “I’ll be sending it in a bit.” They were silent for a moment.
“Aren’t you going to ask me about last night?” Blaine finally brought up the subject. He figured it would be best to just get it all out in the open.
“Nope,” Kurt answered with a laugh. “I don’t need too.”
“What?” Blaine was startled by that answer. “You don’t even want to know what happened at all?” Kurt started laughing in earnest.
“You haven’t seen your Twitter today, have you?”
“No,” Blaine replied.
“Were there any fans watching you film last night?” Kurt asked.
“Yes,” Blaine said slowly.
“Well, one of them live tweeted the whole thing and it ended up on Tumblr. The entire Dalton fandom knows what you and Sebastian were doing in that car last night.”
“You’re kidding?”
“Nope.” Kurt laughed again. “But even if I didn’t know already, I wouldn’t ask – It’s your job, Blaine. I don’t need you to justify yourself to me. I believed you when you said that Sebastian kissed you back in February and that you want nothing to do with him.”
“What did I ever do to deserve you?”
“I’m pretty awesome, aren’t I?”
“The awesomest,” Blaine agreed.
“You are-"
“Completely adorable and a hundred percent in love with you?” Blaine cut him off.
“A dork,” Kurt continued. “Hey, they’re going to post the results, I have to go.”
“Good luck!” Blaine replied

Blaine –
We didn’t win. :( Santana tried to scalp Rachel and it took Puck, Sam, Mike, and Lauren to hold her back. I’ll be home tomorrow. Here’s the video of our performance, if you want to watch us crash and burn.
Love,
Kurt
*
“I love them,” Kurt said, gesturing to the flowers in his hand when Blaine sat down for their Skype chat Sunday night. “But what are they for? We didn’t win.” Kurt made a noise of disgust in his throat. “We didn’t even place.”
“They’re to celebrate,” Blaine said, smiling, “you.” Kurt’s face turned red and Blaine couldn’t help but marvel at how he could still pull that reaction out of Kurt. They’d known each other for months now, seven almost, he realized as he did some quick math in his head.
“Thank you,” Kurt smiled back.
“How was your flight?”
“Long and awkward,” Kurt laughed. “We all sort of fell into like this… fugue state or something. No one talked, and we all just buried our heads in our complimentary copies of Sky Mall. I might have bought some really amazing shoes.”
Blaine shook his head. “You don’t seem that upset though.”
“Why would I?” Kurt looked so happy; Blaine couldn’t help but rest his head on his hand and stare at him while he talked. “I had breakfast at Tiffany’s… I sang on a Broadway stage…” he trailed off. “It was amazing.”
“I love you,” Blaine murmured. “So much.”
“I love you, too, Blaine.” Kurt replied, turning pink again. “You know, Rachel and I talked and we decided that we’re going to New York for college.”
This wasn’t the first time Blaine had heard this idea(Kurt had told him about his New York dreams fairly early on in their friendship), but now that they were dating, he wasn’t sure what he thought.
Did he want Kurt to give up on his dreams? No, he didn’t. He wasn’t exactly thrilled at the idea of them spending another four years apart, on top of Kurt’s last year of high school. He was under contract with the network and Dalton for at least that long. He put the thought out of his mind – it was still a year away. They had time to talk about it.
“So did you buy anything fabulous in New York or get stalked by paparazzi?” Blaine asked, changing the subject slightly.
Kurt laughed again, and launched into a tale of him and Rachel trying on clothes.
The future would come, but it wasn’t here yet.

Awww, thank you! LOL!
I really hate that this story is ending and am happy to hear about a sequel. All this KLAINE happiness messes with my head when I try to write angst and instead it comes up fluffy rainbows :)
I'm not ready for this to end yet!!!
LOL - well, I think you just gave me my opening for the Sequel. :D Thank you!
Me either! :DThank you!
I am just waiting for a chapter when everyone finds out (in other words, Tumblr finds out about Blaine & Kurt) and it all explodes :D I am just hoping you are going to write that in a chapter ;) Okay? Good.
I really love this story soooooo much! It isn't even over yet and I already am excited for the sequel. (Just something that stuck out to me--I know this is really random but in respect to this story hasn't Kurt already flew in a plane when he went visit Blaine?)
LOL, thank you. *Yep. This is a big fail on my part. It's been edited (or should have been). :D
Me either! :DThank you!
I just love this! I cannot get enough of it!!! I don't want it to end :(
I loved this chapter! I'm so sad this is ending soon, but I'm pumped for the sequel!!!
Thank you! :D
ahh i love how you tied in scandals and new york into this chapter. Can't wait for the last chapter! And sequel??
Thank you! :DYes, sequel!!!
Plans for a sequel are in the works! :D I don't have a time table for it yet though, cause I haven't started writing. I'm working on two other fics at the moment, so it'll be a little bit before I can work on it. Thank you!
I love this fiction, it's so good and please make a sequel!
Thank you so much! :D
I just love Klaine...and YOU! Another wonderful chapter. I really want this sequel now. Keep being awesome! :P
Awwww, thanks! :D Yeah, I saw it was down this morning. Hopefully they fixed their issues.
This was lovely. Very cute idea with the video texts. I was sad when S&C went down and couldn't read it.
Only 2 more chapters *cries* I wish it could go on forever! Loved this chapter it was brilliant and as usual someone needs to punch Sebastian :)
Awwww, LOL. There will be sequel! :D Thank you!
Some people need air, I just need a sequel!!!! Once more good job! I think I'm in love with the idea of their relationship! (if it's possible but I guess not) If you'll write a sequel when will you tell us? :)
LOL! I am, I have plans for one in the works. Thank you!
First - asdfjasdlkfja;sldkfjaskldfjsdklfjsd Thank you. :D Am I terrible if I have no idea who Jena Malone is? I live under a rock apparently.
I don't even know where to begin with this review but I am going to try like MAD to make it as coherent as possible. I loved this. When I was in high school I felt like Jena Malone was so brave because she was close to my age and emancipated herself at the age of 15 while acting and living in LA. I felt like she was such a class act. This Blaine made me think of her and how some people have the maturity and wherewithall to do this at such a young age. Your character voices were so very spot on (for me) and I loved the way you weaved the other characters into the equation. I literally read from the beginning to this chapter and I eagerly await the rest. I loved how their relationship progressed at a "normal" rate and nothing felt rushed. GOSH I love this story. New favorite!! Thank you for all the obvious time and effort you spend on this!!
YAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!! FLUFFY RAINBOWS!!!
Thank you so much! :D
Thank you!
Another brilliant addition! Kudos to you :) Can't wait for more!

Awwww, thank you so much!! :D
Absolutely loving this story and its totally fate that as I'm reading this chapter, kurt and Rachel's version of for good comes on my iPod xxxx
