Never Can Say Goodbye

“Blaine we’ve gone over this a hundred times!” Kurt laughed thinking of how ridiculous his boyfriend was. “I’ll Skype call you every day as long as you stop wearing this hair gel. I think you look better without it.”

“Kurt, can we please stop messing around. You’re leaving tomorrow and this is the last time I’m going to see you until...” Kurt felt the smile on his face fade. What Blaine was saying was true, but Kurt wasn’t quite ready to face it all yet.

“Fine. What am I meant to say then? What am I meant to tell you?” Kurt said slightly too harshly.

Kurt saw Blaine’s eyes fill with tears. “Maybe you can tell me that you love me. Tell me that you’re never saying goodbye to me. Perhaps you could smile and tell me that everything going to be ok because guess what Kurt, this is actually happening and I’m going to be stuck here with nothing! Nobody! You are the only reason I transferred to McKinley! Nobody else there actually likes me! So I'm going to be all by myself and all you can worry about is how much product I put in my hair!” As soon as Blaine had finished he burst into tears and fell into Kurt’s open arms.

They lay on the bed for a while cuddling until the crying had subsided. “I won’t ever say goodbye to you. I can’t ever say goodbye to you. Do you know why Blaine? Because I love you so so much.”

Blaine turned around, “I love you too.” His gentle breath tickled Kurt’s ear.
