It Was a Girl...
When Kurt opened the front door to his and Robbie's apartment he was greeted with the smell of alcohol, takeaways and sweat.
"Robbie what happened?!" Kurt almost screamed at his friend who was lying on the sofa in his pyjama bottoms. "Why does my couch smell of pizza?!"
"Chill Kurt," Robbie said, his eyes were still staring at the TV screen.
Kurt march over and snatched the remote from Robbie's hand. He had dropped his bags in the process and he was now standing looking down at Robbie who just stared right up at him.
"Well I thought I'd tidied up pretty well."
"Have you not heard of air freshener?" Kurt shouted. He picked up his bags and marched into the bedroom they shared.
The beds were still pushed together, a sign that Kurt hadn't been away for long. But the bed covers were thrown everywhere and the entire floor was covered in Robbie's belongings.
"I guess your tiding up didn't include the bedroom!" Kurt yelled through to Robbie.
"Not so much. No!" Came the reply.
Kurt sighed and dropped down on the bed. He almost had a panic attack. Next to him lay a condom, and a used one at that.
"Um Robbie?"Kurt walked back through to the living room. "Why is there a condom on my bed?"
Robbie looked up. "Well...last night I sort of went to a party..."
"Ooooh," Kurt was slightly jealous. 'We're just friends, only friends. That all I want us to be.' He sat down on the couch next to Robbie. "What was his name?"
"Well...it wasn't a boy, it was a girl. Kate, her name was Kate."
Kurt stopped breathing. Robbie was gay, he had to be gay, if he wasn't then their almost...their whole relationship... "But Robbie, your gay."
When Robbie didn't say anything Kurt continued.
"You lied to me! You said you loved me but you didn't! I can't believe you would do that to me Robbie! Did you just want to...to shag me just to see what it's like?!"
"No Kurt, I just... I think I'm bi," Robbie whispered.
Kurt stopped in the middle of his outrage.
"This girl...Lucie...she was really pretty and I did feel sexually attracted to her. But I do loved you Kurt, I really do." Robbie started to cry.
"Don't cry, I'm sorry."
"No, it just isn't fair!"
"I'm sorry you have to go through this. You could have had a perfectly happy, normal life if it wasn't for me and my amazing charm!"
Robbie laughed. "I love you Kurt."
Kurt didn't know what he was supposed to say in return. He liked Robbie but he was in love with Blaine."I um..."
Robbie laughed again. "I meant it how I meant it the first time I said it. You're like my brother Kurt, you help me get through everything."
Kurt knew that wasn't entirely how Robbie had meant it but for now he was ok with it. He loved Blaine, and he would love him. Always and forever.
