Chapter 6. It's Not Unusual.

I walked through the doors and into the main hall.

"Kurt, Close your eyes!" Rachel sighed, hands going over my eyes.

"Why?" I frowned, trying to dodge her.

"Look it's the dancing queen." I heard a mock being shouted.

"What does he mean?" I questioned, grabbing Rachel's hands and forcing them away from me.

I looked at the guy, he was holding his phone a smirk on his face.

"Nice moves, Faggot." the sniggering continued as I walked through the hall, people pushing past me in all directions.

A flash of heat sprang through my cheeks, there were pictures. Pictures all over the lockers, arrows with my face on it. I swallowed and my breath got louder, everything started to blur together. Rachel walked behind me, the bins had been filled with their attempt at trying to hide the evidence. My locker, however, was still covered, I squinted trying to keep the groan from being heard.

"Ignore it.." Rachel whispered.

I clenched my teeth together. a loud thumping only added to my anger, only to realise it was my own heartbeat. Most of them were print screens of my video, I swallowed, the captions repeating.

"Gay boy. Twinkle toes, Faggot."

The words repeating also in my head. Echoing through my skull. I felt my knees give in.. they all knew.

--

I opened my eyes, to reveal a white room. A groan escaped my mouth and I sat up.

"Kurt?" Rachel smiled a little, rushing to my side. "Kurt, how are you feeling?"

"Where am I?" I asked.

"You're in the hospital suite. You fainted. Oh Kurt." She pulled me into a hug.

"Rachel, breathing would be nice."

She released me and I gasped to catch my breath.

"Don't worry, We've taken everything down. It's all gone." She smiled.

"Memory isn't easy to erase..." I mumbled, sitting up properly.

She tilted her head, and sat down on the edge of my bed. "Kurt, none of us care about that. Not your real friends anyway, Besides." She paused with a sly smile. "Most of us knew already."

"You did?"
"Well you are the most fashionable guy, and the scalves.." She giggled. "Kurt it's fine, really."

I smiled weakly, feeling tears threaten in my eyes. "You always know what to say." I remarked as I hugged her.

--
The guys from Glee club were in the choir room, talking about their favourite Queen song. Finn was looking at me from the opposite side of the room. His hand under his chin. I tried to show I hadn't noticed but the continuous stare was making me feel uneasy.

"Is something the matter?" I asked him, frowning a little.

He shook his head. "No. Not at all." He smiled and stood to sit next to Puck whose head was buried in a page full of song lyrics.

"You think you can see me singing this?" He asked.

There was a small knock at the door. I looked over only to open my eyes wider. The same uniformed guy from yesterday was standing against the door. He still had way too much hair gel in his hair.

"Sorry if I'm interupting. I'm new and I was passing and heard your conversations on Queen.. I take it this is the choir group?"

"Glee club." Rachel corrected him with her hand, she stood up.

"In which you have to audition to get in." Santana added with a raise of her eyebrow.

"Santana that isn't exactly true, everyone is welcome." Mr Schuester said, squeezing past the new guy. He looked at him, "Though a name would be nice."

"Blaine Anderson. Though if a song is required. I am happy to do that." He grinned.

His fingers reached into the air, and ficked as his hips rolled to the side, jumping forward as he hit the first note. "It's not unusual to be loved by anyone.."

He breathed and looked down at us, Rachel grinned and clapped her hands like a silly little fan girl. Slowly the rest of them started dancing. I, however, sat there, no emotion on my face. I tried to read his performance. He was good, brilliant actually. I saw him signing up for the competition, what if he got accepted instead of me? He had more charisma.

Looking back at him, his stance only getting closer to me. Trampezing towards me with this grin on his face. Hands reached for mine, seeing I was now the only one who wasn't dancing. Lips moving fast as he sung.

"It's not unusual to be mad with anyone, it's not unusual to be sad with anyone." pulling me up quickly.

I breathed fast, his hands twisted me around fast, catching me. "A woah woah woah." He stopped abruptly.
I let go of his hands, his chest moved up and down rapidly as he breathed.

"Impressive." I said, "But it's going to take more than a silly love song to get these guys to like you."

"You're in." Rachel squealed over me.

I sighed, and closed my eyes.

"Really?" He grinned, "That's awesome, thank you!"

"You're talented Blaine, where did you get those skills?" Mr Schuester asked.

"I liked to sing as a child, also have a very competative brother.." He nodded.

"Perfect." Rachel grinned, her eyes gleamed with a spark that announced that she was going to get her own way.

I sat back and leaned back against my chair.

"Well you overheard our talk on Queen. We're taking mini performances and turning it into one big one for Nationals." Rachel said, "You'll be perfect!"

He laughed, "Well if you say so.."

That cocky bitch.
