Chapter 25.
Purple Panda.

Karofsky rounded the corner, slamming me into the lockers. "Watch it, faggot." He snarled.

I sighed sadly, rubbing my now-bruising shoulder.

"Hey!" Blaine shouts after him.

"Don't.." I whispered, pulling at his sleeve.

"That's the same guy as last time."

"The walking ape." I shrugged. "His brain is probably as big as a pea."

Blaine stopped me walking, "Kurt, you need to tell someone about this. How long has it been going on?"

"Since the beginning of the year, I'm dealing with it." I shone him a small smile. "I love that you're caring and all but he's one of those bullies who don' quit. I certainly don't want you getting involved."

Blaine sighed in reply.

"I have one last lesson, then I am done for the day." I prompted, changing the topic quickly. "What about you?"

"Oh. I'm done now. I was wondering something though?" He looked at me.

"Expand please? I have not grown remarkable mind powers overnight."

"We haven't really had our first date yet...I was wondering if you're busy tonight?"

My stomach flipped. "No-No I'm not." I smiled, feeling my cheeks flush slightly.

"Cool, I'll pick you up at 7. I'll plan a lovely night."

I pressed my lips together into a line, suppressing a massive grin. He planted a small kiss on my cheek, feeling it burn my skin. "See you later." He smiled.

I spun around when he'd disappeared around the corner. I felt like I was floating on a cloud. I jumped back quickly from my locker when I heard someone appear next to me.

"He your boyfriend?" Karofsky spat.

I frowned. "Not that it's any of your business. Yes. Yes he is."

"Did you seriously just try and smart mouth me?" His voice raised.

I flinched and closed my eyes, expecting the massive blow to my face. It took a second for the expectation to come, feeling the pain shoot through my cheek bones. I seized up, the skin around my eye tightening.

"Karofsky!" Finn's voice shouted. "Let him go!"

Karofsky laughed.

"I said, let him go." Finn growled.

Puck turned the corner, his face changing into a scowl. "The fuck you doing?!" He shouted, pulling Karofsky off me.

Karofsky shot a glare at me before turning away.

"You need to fight back." Finn sighed.

I felt like crying. The tears just didn't seem to fall. "He hates me, there's no reason to hate me. I haven't done anything to him."

Finn patted my shoulder, peering at my eye. "That's got to hurt." He mumbled.

"Does it look bad?" I took out the mirror from my pocket. It turned purple in a matter of seconds. "God, I've got a date tonight. I look like a purple panda!"

"He's seen you before, and I'm pretty sure he'll understand."

"He'll get mad because I don't stand up for myself."

I saw them exchange looks, "Maybe we could help you?" Finn shrugged. "Well Puck can, I don't do much fighting. Puck has the muscles."

"I don't believe in solving your problems through violence..." I mumbled.

"Oh, come on. You need to fight back or he'll keep doing it." Puck leaned against the lockers. "Come on Kurt, Don't let him walk all over you."

I looked at the pair of them in turn. "Fine." I let out a breath. "Not tonight though, I want to try and cover this up."

"You really like this Blaine, hmm?" Finn laughed.

"For once there's a tiny bit of light in my life and he's the one shining it."

"We're all happy for you, Kurt. You deserve someone." Finn's kind, supportive words made me smile.

"Thanks, Finn."

"See you tomorrow, maybe around lunch time?"

I nodded in agreement.

--

I sat down, struggling to cover up the bruise on my face. Even my facepowder made me look too pale, it was too obvious that I had been punched in the face. I put it away and looked at my phone, it'd vibrated not 5 minutes ago.

Blaine:

I'm stuck on what to wear, this is where your expertise comes in handy.

Kurt:

You're one of those really annoying guys that look good in anything.

I could hear his chuckle in my head and my stomach bounced.

Blaine:

You know how to flatter a guy ;)

Kurt:

You're so easy to flatter, sir.

Blaine:

So I'm a sir now?  this could be interesting.

I felt my heart skip slightly. I smiled and bit my lip.

Kurt:

Interesting, how?

I put my phone on my bed, I had my clothes out stretched across my mattress. I was going with the waist coat today, white shirt with a grey waistcoat, black skinny jeans and boots.

I changed quickly, just doing up my waist coat when Dad came through the door.

"Dad!" I gasped. "I could have been changing!"

"Sorry, sorry." He put his hands over his eyes.

"Well, it would be a bit late now wouldn't it?" I sighed, going to sit in front of my mirror.

"You look smart, going anywhere interesting?" He asked.

"Blaine's taking me out on an official date." I combed through my hair,

"Oh, is he now?" He asked.

"Yep, He said he's planning this whole evening." I grinned, "I'm excited." I moved my legs in anticipation slightly.

He smiled, "Dad, you don't have to listen to me talking about boys, It's okay." I nodded.

He sighed and turned my lamp on, "I want to know you Kurt, it's fine." He frowned. "What happened to your face?"

"Oh, nothing." I shrugged.

"Kurt?"

"Just some bully at school."

"You didn't tell me about any bullies."

"Dad it's fine, I've got it under control."

"Obviously you can't, You're getting hurt." My phone went off, I collected it.

Blaine:

I'm here<3.

I looked at Dad.

"Blaine's here, can we just leave it for tonight? I want a good night with him." He looked at me and I knew he wouldn't drop it, he'd continue as soon as I got home.
