Chapter 9.
"Come here," Kurt beckoned as he pulled him closer. "Your bowtie is slanted."
"And here's me thinking I was going to get lucky." Blaine cocked an eyebrow and a smirk.
Kurt slapped his hands away, "Not now, I don't want to be late."
"Being late for Sebatian, exactly what we want." He winked, pulling him into a gentle kiss.
__
Kurt shivered, they'd just parked the car and were now standing at the front door of Sebastian's house. "This is going to be something we'll regret." Blaine muttered, taking his hand.
"We'll be fine, we'll just make him a whole lot more jealous."
Blaine tilted his head. "And that means?"
Kurt knocked and smiled, tapping his nose.
"So you came. I was beginning to think you weren't going to show." Sebastian smirked. He opened the door wider and allowed them to walk in. "Can I take your packet?"
"It completes my outfit." Kurt argued.
"You'll roast, trust me." He chuckled.
Kurt exchanged a look with Blaine before allowing him to take the jacket from him. "I thought you had someone coming?" Kurt questioned as they all walked into the living area.
"He-um, unfortunately couldn't make it tonight." He explained.
Blaine shifted uncomfortably next to Kurt. "How convenient."
He chuckled. "Well for me yes, I'm the one alone."
"So what are we eating?" Kurt asked.
"Stew is boiling as we speak," His eyes landed on Kurt. "Do you like stew?"
"Yes, I love it." He sat back, pursing his lips and leaning across to Blaine, whispering words of nothing into his ear.
Blaine moved his eyes to his and saw how Sebastian eagerly tried to listen in, his brow furrowed. Kurt smirked and rubbed a hand slowly up his leg. Eyes sparkling. "Kiss me." He nudged his nose against Blaine's.
"I'll go check on the stew!" Sebastian jumped up, walking out the room.
"This can be easy." Kurt winked.
"Evil genius." Blaine remarked, wrapping his arms tightly around Kurt's figure and nuzzling into him domestically.
"I try." Kurt half-hopped onto his lap.
"Don't do that!"
"Do what?" He asked innocently.
"Not here.. I-"
Kurt kissed him gently before moving back into his seat.
"Dinner is ready, I can bring it in." Sebastian poked his head around.
"I need to freshen up, where's your toilet?"
"I'll show you." Blaine nodded.
"Nah, I will." Sebastian interrupted. "You can pour some drinks."
Blaine frowned and watched the pair of the depart the room, before walking into the kitchen to pour drinks.
Sebastian led Kurt to the main bedroom. "Kurt, there's something you need to see."
"I just need the toilet." Kurt argued, turning around to look at Sebastian.
Sebastian wasn't smiling - in fact his face was quiet and expressionless.
"What is it?" Kurt sighed.
He walked over to the bedside table. He opened the drawer of the side table and pulled out a small book. Kurt stared and his heart plummeted into his stomach. Sebastian turned and handed the book to him. "But..." Kurt whispered, frowning. "B-But this is my diary."
"I've wanted to tell you, Kurt. I didn't know the right time."
"No, this isn't happening."
"He used to read it before going to bed. He was completely obsessed with it, even read some stuff to me. I asked where he got it from, but he didn't seem to care."
"It can't be right.." Kurt whispered.
"It's why I went onto that account, I needed to know who you were. Why he was reading your diary. I needed to meet you. To find out what was going on between you."
Kurt clenched his teeth down, he had to explain this. Blaine had to have some explanation for this. He stood up, grabbing the handle of the door, letting it thrust back into the wall. He practically ran down the stairs, "Kurt!" Sebastian shouted behind him, both of them storming into the living area where Blaine sit, he lifted his head and smiled but the sight of the diary made it quickly vanish.
"I can explain." He said, standing quickly.
Kurt threw the book back at him. "Go on, then." He demanded.
"Karofsky had the book. I took it off him."
Kurt closed his eyes. "You read my diary. Sebastian found it in your drawer!" He paused. "You absolute.."
Everything he'd said was a lie, everything they'd been through was a lie, was he really this person?
"I can't even look at you right now." Kurt whispered, turning towards the door.
"Kurt, wait!" Blaine shouted.
