Blaine's eyes began to water as he refused to blink as he watched the clock on the wall with anticipation. Only ten more seconds, he thought to himself as he watched the second hand tick by painfully slowly.

"Mr. Anderson, can you please repeat what I just said?" asked Blaine's history teacher, Ms. Tolentino.

Blaine's cheeks flushed pink as he turned to his teacher, not a clue about what she had said earlier.

"Um, I-I, uh, you were saying that… World War Two was caused by-."

Blaine's mumbling was cut off by the liberating sound of the bell, signaling the end of class. He breathed a sigh of relief and began to throw his books into his bag.

"Please try to pay more attention next time, Blaine," Ms. Tolentino scolded, disappoint clearly evident on her face.

Blaine didn't even bother to reply to his disappointed teacher. He just threw his messenger bag over his shoulder and rushed out of the classroom. To his surprise, Kurt was waiting outside of his classroom, ready to escort him to lunch.

"Heard Ms. Tolentino got you with the 'What did I just say' tactic. Brutal," he said, struggling to hide his smirk.

"You know about that? It just happened less than a minute ago."

"Word travels fast," he said with a laugh.

Blaine sighed and walked alongside Kurt to the cafeteria.

"Hey did you get my text?" Kurt asked while scrolling through his iPhone.

"No, you know I don't check my text messages in class," Blaine replied with a frown.

"Fine Mr. Goody Two Shoes. Well, check your phone now."

Blaine pulled his cell phone from his bag and opened the text from Kurt.

'I got you a VERY interesting date for this Saturday (;'

"So who is this interesting date?" he asked, tucking his phone back into his pocket.

Kurt giggled before holding up his phone, revealing a photo of a cute brunette boy Blaine knew all too well.

"Sebastian Smythe," he said with a proud smile.

Blaine stopped dead in his tracks as his jaw fell.

"S-Sebastian Smythe? But he's been never single, how is that possible?"

Kurt rolled his eyes before turning back to his Blackberry.

"You really need to go on Facebook more often. Apparently his flavor of the month, Harry, broke up with him, which Sebastian didn't take lightly. Now he's trying to play it off, telling everyone that he broke up with Harry, but thats bull, everyone knows Harry broke up with him…well except for you that is, since you refuse to actually update your social networking profiles!" Kurt taunted, it had become a hobby of sorts for him to make fun of Blaine's lack of knowledge of the social networking world.

"Well…if Sebastian is upset over his breakup with Harry, why would he want to hire me for a date on Saturday?" Blaine asked, completely clueless.

Kurt rolled his eyes, "Are you really that stupid? Obviously he's going to go on a date with you to make Harry jealous and want to take him back, so when they get back together, he can dump Harry back!"

Blaine rolled his eyes, high school relationships were way too confusing for him to understand.

The two arrived at the cafeteria and Blaine sat down at he and Kurt's usual lunch table, his face scrunched up in thought.

"Sebastian doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would do that."

"You obviously don't know him well then." Kurt shrugged before nodding his head towards a group two tables away from them.

In the center of a giggling, love struck group of boys and girls sat Harry Dawson, chatting animatedly with the prettiest girl in the bunch. Blaine struggled to hide his shock at the sight before him. Before Harry began dating Sebastian he was a nobody. He'd always been a bit geeky, and often kept to himself. Sebastian, who'd always been wildly popular amongst both boys and girls for as long as everyone can remember, skyrocketed Harry to popularity the minute Sebastian presented him as his new boy toy of the month. Thus, the sight of Harry surrounded by lovestruck teens, none of which are Sebastian, was a very strange sight indeed.

"Speak of the devil, here he comes," Kurt said while taking a huge bite of his egg salad sandwich.

Blaine turned to see Sebastian Smythe smiling from ear to ear, holding a tray of food. Truth be told, Blaine had always had a small crush on Sebastian since he'd first met him during seventh grade. Sebastian's warm smile, cute dimples and chocolate brown hair made him a very pretty face, which seemed to detract attention away from his not-so favorable personality.

"Hey Blaine," Sebastian said with a smile, taking a seat beside him.

Blaine swallowed hard before reply with a weak 'hey'.

"So…are you ok with our date this Saturday? I mean…if you're not comfortable with it and all," he said with a discreet wink.

"No, no, I'm totally fine with it," Blaine quickly interrupted, a blush quickly creeping up his cheeks.

"Excellent!"

Sebastian opened his mouth to continue speaking, but instead caught sight of Harry twirling a pretty blonde girl's hair over at his table. Sebastian's frowned in what could have been either sadness, or anger. He turned back to Kurt and Blaine with a brand new smile, not a single trace of anger at what he had just witnessed was evident on his face.

"Well, I'll see you on Saturday then, Blaine," he said cheerily, leaning over and giving him a light peck on the cheek, which was extremely unusual for Sebastian, who would have preferred tongue to tongue kisses over cheek pecks any day.

With that, Sebastian gathered up his tray and walked off to sit with his close friends on the other side of the cafeteria. Blaine sat motionless in his seat, shell shocked by Sebastian's gesture.

Kurt shook as he struggled to contain his laughter.

"Pick your tongue up off the floor Blaine, you're drooling all over my food," he taunted before erupting into full out laughter.

Kurt's taunts and laughter did not faze Blaine at all, as he sat in his seat, enveloped by pure Sebastian induced ecstasy. Saturday couldn't come fast enough, he thought to himself.

Hahaha! I actually wasn't expecting Sebastian to be one of Blaine's dates! I just hope he doesn't try and take advantage of him to make Harry jealous!!

Wait....first he was going with girls, and now guys? I was under the impression Blaine was straight, and since it's Klaine, eventually realize....Well, can you explain please?
