“Breathe in. Breathe out.”
The simplest of actions to follow. But why is it so hard? He just needed some time to adapt to the fact that his entire world was a mess.
But right now it was calm. It was calm for him to sit in the closet, listening to Rachel explain the mandatory lessons in life, of breathing.
Where had he gone wrong? What could he have done differently? Who could he have talked to?
And the bursting of the door brought his answer. Blaine was stood, panting and wide eyed, dressed in his usual bow tie and rolled up pants. He looked at Rachel and then to Kurt, his expression softening.
“Kurt, Kurt! I know what you saw looked ridiculously horrid but it really wasn’t that-lemme explain Kurt cause I love you so much-“
SLAM.
Rachel slammed the door in Blaine’s face, going back to her mantra.
Kurt let out a dry sob as Rachel fell to her knees and hugged him, wondering what had happened over the past few weeks.
