Kurt sighed as he watched another one of his friends leave. He had been here for two years and not many people even looked into his cage most preferring dog hybrids than cats like him. Kurt looked up when he heard the bell ring and adjusted his clothes looking out his cage wishing he had some room to stretch out his legs. Kurt had been raised by his mother who was a hybrid, and his human father. They raised him as a human trying to give him a better life, but that was taken away his freshmen year when his father got sick. Now he was stuck in a small cage watching everyone one but him get adopted. They had taken him from his home in ohio and sent him off to New York not wanting his dad to have the chance to reclaim him.
Kurt pulled down his clothing as another couple walked in, but he deflated when he saw the woman walked in with a wolf hybrid behind her. Most people didnt like mixing a cat with someone in the dog family, so Kurt went back to being in a ball knowing he would get passed over. The woman smiled looking at the man behind the counter. "Hi my name is Pam Anderson I am here to drop off Blaine for his spa day." She handed the leash over slowly looking over at Blaine. "Be good for the nice people and if I get a good report back you can chose anyone in the store to bring back." Blaine rolled his eyes looked over at his mom. "I am always good mama."
Blaine smiled following the man to the back glancing over at Kurt for a second before heading into the back glad to be spoiled a little. Blaine talked to another hybrid that was getting their tailed fluffed and their mails sharpened. Blaine walked around afterwards looking at different animals trying to see which one he would want to bring home with him. He walked over to the hybrid section looking over the different ones stopping in front of Kurt cage. "Wow I have never seen a fur pattern like that."
Kurt looked up at him smiling a little and sat up slowly fixing his clothes. "Why thank you I work hard on my fur to keep it is nice and clean. So what brings you to my little cage?" Blaine frowned a little looking at the cage. "My mom thought it be good to treat me before we go back home and I start to school." Kurt sighed a little remembering when he was in school. "I remember what it was like to be in school."
Blaine mother walked over to him smiling hugging him playing with some of Blaine fur. "You looked much better you need to work on your tail a little better." Blaine tolled his eyes looking over at her kissing her cheek. "I promise I will mama. Remember when you said I could get anyone I want correct?" Blaine mother nodded looking over at him. "Yes have you decided on whom?" Blaine nodded pointing to Kurt. "I chose him."
