Blaine edged his way into the room, leaving the door halfway propped open as he walked over to his closet and started to finger through the number of jackets he had hanging up.Black, gray, or white…hmm. He didn’t want to take too long to pick out something to wear, but he also didn’t want to choose a coat that would be too dark and take away from the look he was trying to go for, classic and clean without trying too hard…so gray it is.The musician pulled the hanger with his light gray, zip-up sports jacket out when he heard Kurt’s question. Blaine was in the process of slipping his arms into the coat as he exited the room, smiling at the actor while lifting it over his shoulders so it fit on him correctly, “Weare going to dinner at PJ Clarke’s. It has seafood and Italian, or some mix of the two…I hope that’s alright?” he asked, zipping his jacket up halfway before finding the man’s hand with his own once more and started down the hallway. “So…how have you been? I haven’t really had the chance to ask how your week went and how classes are going. You know, all that nonsense and such,” he smiled softly, glancing over at him shortly before opening the door for Kurt so they could exit out of the dorm building and walk out into the chilly night. “I am almost certain that it is going to start snowing soon, it’s getting colder by the day,” he muttered, slipping his free hand into his slacks pocket while lacing his fingers with Kurt’s as they made their way into the parking lot and headed for his Jeep. When they reached the familiar car sitting idly in it’s normal spot he opened the passenger door for the theater major, letting him slide into his seat and closed it shut behind him. Blaine climbed into his the driver’s side a moment later, lifting his hips a little from the chair so he could rifle through his pocket until he pulled out his car key and started the engine. “Give it a couple minutes, she’s been running a little more slowly then usual,” he said, and leaned back in his seat, running his fingers through his hair once more before turning to look at Kurt, “I missed you”.

Kurt leant against the door frame, shifting slight as Blaine came out of the room and looking up from the flower at Blaine through his lashes. He rose an eyebrow elegantly, his face changing to a look of approval before the smile returned across his face. Blaine Anderson was going to be the reason for premature laughter lines and wrinkles on his face if he kept this up. “Sounds absolutely perfect,” Kurt chimed cheerfully as he pushed away from the door frame to fit his hand perflectly into the musician’s own, falling into step with him easily. It was so easy just to relax into the same routine, the simply touch, the way they just matched eachother. Now Kurt wasn’t about to say that they were made to just hold eachother’s hands and walk together just because of this, but it made him smile nonetheless. “They’ve been going okay… I passed my French exam with flying colours, auditioned for a few things I haven’t heard back from, so nothing all that exciting to report.” Kurt turned his gaze to Blaine’s profile before stepping through the door with a courtious nod of thanks, supressing the soft blush clouding his features from the complete gentlemanly gesture. “How about yourself? I can’t believe I missed Anderson Thursday, though,” Kurt chuckled softly. He slid into the familiar car with a fond smile, relaxing into the comfortable leather seat. “You didn’t take my suggestion of an engine blanket, did you?” He raised an eyebrow questioningly before laughing quietly. Kurt rested his head back against the headrest, turning it to look at Blaine with another fond smile, growing warm at the genuine emotion in Blaine’s expression and voice. “I missed you too.” Kurt carefully took up Blaine’s hand again, innocently tracing his fingers with his own fingertips before enveloping their hands together with a soft smile. “I’ve been looking forward to this,” the actor whispered across the space between them, flushing slightly as he broke their eye contact.
