Blaine smiled softly as his eyes neverwaveredfrom the actor until he realized he wasunintentionallystaring just a little too much. He couldn’t necessarily help himself, however, because he simply could not get over just how absolutely gorgeous Kurt was; from his attention-grabbing eyes to his flawlessly soft hair to his inevitably contagious smile. Clearing his throat quietly and shifting his weight from one foot to another he took a wandering glance around the room before they rested back on the theater major, his thumb and forefinger gently rolling the stem of theorchidbetween his fingers, “You may want to grab a jacket…infact, I should probably stop by my room to grab one as well”. His hand slipped into his slacks pocket as he waited for Kurt to get a coat, and when he seemed as though he had one picked out Blaine stepped over to him, removing his hand from his pocket to reach it towards the man, a charming smile appearing on his lips as he gently took the familiarly soft hand in his own. As they made their way out of the room and down the hallway back towards his own dorm Blaine couldn’t help but relish in the simple moment of them just being together once again with the comfort of their palms pressed lightly against one another. When they reached his door he turned to Kurt, his lips still pulled into the same expression as his hand slipped away and he handed him the orchid, “Hold this while I get my jacket?” Blaine’s smile brightened the tiniest bit, and he leaned over to kiss the actor’s cheeks before turning to disappear in his room.

Honestly, Kurt could feel himself practically preening under Blaine’s gaze. While ti wasn’t the most dressy outfit he could have chosen, and he had previously felt underdressed this whole exchange, the complimenting of their outfits… Well it was something Kurt was entirely comfortable with. “A jacket? I can do that, is it really cold out? Maybe I’m a little under dressed… I can change…” Kurt continued to mutter as he seived through his immaculately organised but incredibly too full wardrobe, using his entire body weight in order to get to his jackets. “No wait, I have the perfect one…” He announced strenuously through clenched teeth as he pulled out the deep grey-green pea coat with a triumphant look as he pulled it on, buttoning it up with a soft laugh. The familiarity and comfortable ease at which he fell into step next to Blaine, hand in hand - which seemed like the norm for them, that they could keep their hands off eachother but in a completely innocent way of just wanting to know the other was there - it was defiinitely something he’d missed during his silent treatment frustration. As he was handed the flower, somewhat a familiar gesture which never failed to completely take his breath away, Kurt returned Blaine’s dazzling smile, carefully taking the stem and bringing the beautiful orchid to his nose just as Blaine pecked his cheek sending a blush from his hairline to toes. Only Blaine could manage to do this to him. He somewhat smittenly leaned against the door frame, smiling far too much as he kept his eyes downcast on the flower. There were so many reasons that it was his favourite - sure they were expensive, which was one thing he’d just have to scold Blaine for later, but they were so elegant, so different, unusual, picky, well dressed… They had personality which had been stripped away from the common rose and Kurt just adored them. Turning to peer into Blaine’s room from his position at the door, Kurt pursed his lips. “So where arewe going tonight?”
