Blaine slipped his hands into his dark jean pockets, his black polo with the top couple buttons undone as his matching black Ralph Lauren flats carried him inside the dark building that he had admittedly been in once or twice before. Moving away from the door when a couple tried to make their way past him he quickly apologized and heard the vibrations and sounds of music coming from the other room, but Sebastian had mentioned VIP so he had no idea where he was supposed to meet him…
“Well look who decided to show up, looking rather fine might I add, and right on time too.”
The musician felt a hand along his waist before it gradually roamed over to his lower back and Sebastian appeared with a smile on his face. Blaine slightly raised his eyebrow as the taller individual led him off to another door to the side, the bouncer taking one glance at Sebastian and stepping aside to let them both in. As soon as they entered the room he could hear the music blasting at full volume, the bass vibrating in his ears and body as Sebastian’s hand finally lingered away from his back and to his own side, motioning over towards the far more secluded bar then he remembered from the main room last time he had been here. Once the two had taken seats Sebastian ordered a pair of beers and turned his entire body towards the musician who was facing the counter in front of him with his elbows resting against it and his hands folded together.
“I miss seeing you around you know. You used to be daily eye candy back at Dalton, it’s hard to find someone that looks quite as good as you do these days…especially at a school like Columbia.”
Blaine glanced at Sebastian for a moment, the cunning smile that was playing on his lips was all to familiar to him, but there was something he couldn’t quite decipher, and it didn’t come from the positioning of his lips but more from the slight gleam in his eyes. “Well I missed you guys too, all of you. It was nice to see the Warblers back in action even after these past couple years of us being at college.” Blaine thanked the bartender as she slid a pair of beers towards them, his fingers wrapping around the drink hesitantly because this right here, this glass bottle that contained the exact same liquid his father used to drink like crazy when he was younger brought so many unsaid warnings to his mind.
“Are you going to drink it or just stare at it?”
Blaine mentally shook his head and noticed that Sebastian had already managed to down half of his beer even if his eyes had stayed poised on the musician since they first saw each other. He wanted the thought of his father gone as he tipped his head back just barely and drank down his beer, not lowering it until the contents were gone and he had placed it back on the counter, letting his tongue run across his bottom lip quickly before he heard a low whistle.
“Well damn Blaine…I don’t remember you drinking like this, except for once but…well you know.”
“Just finish your beer, Sebastian.” If he wanted to forget about his past then and actually manage to have some fun without it being ruined then there was no way he was going to let him bring up memories of him going to parties and just literally drinking away his depression and anger until he could feel absolutely nothing but a slight dullness, no thoughts and no pain lingering until the morning after when he’d huddle in bed feeling like total and utter crap for drinking so much. But before he knew it Sebastian had downed the rest of his beer without another word and a second pair of bottles were in front of them, which they both finished in silence.
“Care to dance?”
Blaine turned just in time to see Sebastian put a hand around his bicep and pull him off toward the dance floor. He honestly had no idea how long they had moved around each other, how many songs they had listened to as they continued to keep close because it was fairly apparent that Sebastian, much like himself, had little to no personal boundary, much as he remembered from high school. It must have been about an hour or so when they both headed back over to the bar laughing breathlessly, Sebastian nearly stumbling over his own feet before they both managed to take their original seats. Blaine glanced casually at his watch, noting that it was already almost nearing one, and he had something to do in the morning that he couldn’t exactly remember at the moment.
“Hey can we get a couple shots over here?”
Blaine opened his mouth to protest but Sebastian waved his hand in front of him and shook his head persistently.
“Oh no you don’t. Unless you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend waiting for you I’m sure you can hang around for a couple shots, we have still yet to catch up.”
The music major glanced over at Sebastian with his lips barely parted and finally turned towards the counter when the bartender placed a row of shots in front of the both of them. It wasn’t like he could say no, plus, Sebastian was nice enough company and he hadn’t seen any of his old high school friends since he graduated and left Rochester for good. Nodding his head he picked up a shot glass as the other man did the same, a small grin on his face as though the lack of a response was the exact trigger he had been waiting for as they both drank them down at the same time. By the time they had finished all of their shots they were knee-deep in a conversation about what they had been up to since high school.
“You know…you really were the most talented out of all of us, and you know how much I hate saying stuff like that but it’s true. Hell, you just have everything don’t you? You’re a casual genius whether you like to admit it or not, you have a rocking hot body, sexy singing voice, and you’re still single. What more could a guy ask for?”
Blaine was leaning against the bar with an arm, what used to be orderly hair was now a mess of short and unruly curls as a tall and very drunk Sebastian leaned over towards him and pressed his body close for a hard kiss. Anybody would agree that this man was attractive, even if he was forward and blunt, but still he had some sort of devilish charm about him…. Blaine’s eyes automatically closed, the forced kiss being returned with a far more confused one simply because he had little to no idea of what was going on. But a thought popped up in his head as Sebastian’s lips moved against his and his hand slipped around to the back of the musician’s neck to pull him in closer, while any normal individual would find this man extremely attractive and easy to fall for…Blaine was just not that kind of guy. “I have to use the restroom,” he muttered as he pulled away and slipped off the barstool, attempting to steady himself as he made his way into the bathroom and leaned against the sink with his hands.
What in the world is going on…. He heard a barely audible swoosh of the door as his eyes closed and he tried to breathe evenly, attempting to regain some sort of control of his unwilling body and not simply slump to the ground with how insanely dizzy and light-headed he was. But before he could even move he felt a pair of hands on either side of his own clutching the sink counter and a light breath against the small curls at the nape of his neck as lips moved to press a kiss to his neck just above the collar of his polo. He didn’t need to open his eyes to know it was Sebastian, and in all honestly he didn’t want to open his eyes because then he’d know for a fact that what had just happened…and what was currently happening wasn’t just some bad dream he’d wake up from and never forget…he would look in the mirror in front of him and remember exactly what was going on, whether he was drunk or not. Blaine allowed his lips to part finally, his hand raising to slip Sebastian’s delicately away from the counter so he could turn around in his grasp and finally allowed his eyes to open. His face was close, far too close for any normal individual to actually feel comfortable with. “Look, Sebastian…I can’t do this.”
“Why not? You said yourself you don’t have a boyfriend or a girlfriend so I don’t see what the problem is.”
But as soon as Sebastian leaned in to kiss him again Blaine shook his head and put a hand on his chest to stop him, “I don’t have either, true, but I’d like to. Just…this isn’t right, I have to go.” Blaine slipped away from his grasp, his hand moving to the wall to help him stay on his feet as the other pulled on the door handle and he made his way out of the bathroom. The musician stumbled out of the club and onto the sidewalk, too guilty to have a cab pick him up and too ashamed to ask Kurt to get him. So that only left….
“Yes my dear Mr. Anderson?”
“Jen…can you please…” he closed his eyes tightly from the migraine that was slowly creeping on him as he stumbled his way down the sidewalk as though to walk back to campus, “…can you please pick me up?”
“…You alright?”
“No, I’m not.”
“You are wasted right now, aren’t you? What did you I tell you about getting drunk without me? You’re not allowed to. Good lord knows what unfortunate soul had to deal with you this time, and I know it wasn’t Kurt since he has a shift in the morning so who else would - “
“Jen please…I…I made a mistake and Kurt’s going to kill me,” he said in a desperate tone, his head swimming as it felt heavier then he could possibly even describe. Blaine finally perched himself down on a set of stairs, he had only managed to get a block away from the club and he had no idea of where he was and could barely even see straight to read a street sign.
“…I’m coming to get you right now.”
