As Blaine sat on the train, waiting for his parents to say their last words to him, he thought: Thought of how fast he would die (with his luck, he wouldnt even make it to the bloodbath, he would probably fall off of his platform and explode), thought of what kind of score he would get at training, thought about life in general-
"Hey baby," his mom said softly.
"Im gonna miss you guys," he said, feeling depressed.
Most of the time was spent in silence, his dad standing awkwardly in the corner, his mom sitting next to him and crying softly, and his brother wasnt even there.
"Alright, times up!" A guard said roughly, gesturing toward the door.

Santanas parents werent coming.
She knew that the second she got reaped.
If you think that theyre not coming only because they love her too much to see her, youre wrong. They dont love her and they just didnt care enough to come. She knew she looked confident when she walked up to the stage, but inside she felt like crap. She was all alone going into the hunger games and she probably wouldnt even survive past the bloodbath.
One of her friends who Santana only pretends to like, came in and fake sobbed on her shoulder, asking what would happen to the cheerleading team (Santanas the captain), knowing she would be the new head cheerio.
Just listening to her voice is making me want to kill myself right now. God, her voice is so pathetically happy and breathy and filled with fake tears.
"Alright, times up."
She thought about Blaine. He was her best friend. She never showed it, but she loved the little guy. In a friends way, of course. She was really gonna miss his curly hair, his height, his tribrows, his hazel eyes, his- oh fuck it.
Santana was in love with Blaine Anderson. __________________________________________________________________
Kurt waited for his parents to come, with a fear that they just wouldnt. He knew that was ridiculous though, so he waited.
"Hey, bud," his dad said gruffly, pulling him out of his thoughts.
"Hi," he replied, while his mom started sobbing into his shoulder.
"Mom, its ok, Im gonna win." He said, faking confidence so they wouldnt worry.
He consoled his parents, who gave him some hugs that felt really good.
Im gonna try to remember how that feels in the arena, that feels really good.
"Why are you guys so sad? Being in the Games is an honor! Im gonna win and come back to you guys! There is no way that I wont win. You should feel bad for the other families. Trust me, Ill be fine." He was scared, though. He didnt want his parents to know, but he was getting really fucking nervous. He knew was gonna win, though, so he hid his fear.
"Times up," the guard said gently, noticing all the tears and hugs. He gestured to the door.
He realized that Finn hadnt been there. Hmmmm...

When Rachels dads came in, she was surprised that they cared enough. She had made a lot of... mistakes in the past and thought her dads hated her for them.
Her dads looked sad to see her go. She wondered why, getting reaped is an honor.
After her parents left, she was left very confused. So she cried. Now Im never gonna date Finn. Dammit.
Her crying was interrupted by the sound of someone clearing their throat. She looked up.
"Finn?!" Finn was standing in the doorway awkwardly.
"Uh... Rachel. Hi. I just... Wanted to say good luck. And also... Ive really liked you for a while. I just wanted to tell you that. And... Um... I want you to have this for your tribute item thing." He pulled a box out of his jacket pocket, and handed it to me.
She opened it slowly, pulling out a necklace. It had a sturdy looking chain and a star. "Finn..."
"Stars are, like, your thing. I thought youd like it. Sorry if you dont like it. If you dont like it, I can return it or something."
"Finn, I love it," I whispered.
He leaned down to hug her, but she kissed him. Rachel felt like there were fireworks exploding inside her.
They were interrupted by the guard. When Finn left, she cried harder than ever.
