Dear Mom,
I don’t know why I’m writing this. Maybe just to get everything out, as always. To mention just how much things have changed since you’ve gone. I’m almost 18 now, mom. I’m a senior…and I’m gay. You know I’m gay, mom, you’ve known that since I was six and all I wanted for Christmas was a pair of heels. You still loved me anyway, and I’ve always loved you for that.
Dad remarried last year, mom. Her name is Carole…you would’ve liked her. She has a son named Finn and we’re almost like a family. I have a boyfriend, mom. His name is David…I’m also head Cheerio at school…I miss you mom…sometimes I miss you so much I don’t know what to do. Dad and Finn spend so much time together and I know Carole tries, but sometimes I feel so left out…
I still have my favorite picture of you framed by my bed. The one where you’re in the grey dress and I’m only three, sitting on your lap and your singing to me on the couch…I miss you, mom. And remember when I said I have a boyfriend? Well, mom….he hits me…
Love,
Kurt
As he carefully wrote his signature at the bottom of the page, one single tear fell from his cheek and onto the paper. He turns away from the letter and takes a sweeping look of his room, spotting a stack of letters he’s already written. They had been tied together with a beautiful red ribbon when Kurt had written his last letter a few months earlier. It was about time… He thought silently. About time to take them to her… He could hear the door open and hear his father come in from work and for that moment he was glad his door was open. “Take your shoes off, Dad! Don’t track grease in here!” He called just to hear a grunt in response from Burt.
Just then he heard his phone go off from his bed. He opened the text from a number he didn’t recognize, reading the words don’t forget to do #52-58 for Monday. Kurt had a sneaking suspicion as to who this mystical homework wizard was, but he asked anyway. who is this? He got a reply not long after, his suspicion confirmed. Coach Sylvester gave me your number. Its Blaine.
“Oh, great,” he whispered sarcastically.

As Monday rolled around, Blaine was still thinking about his tutoring session with Kurt from the week before. He knew that Kurt was hiding something. Something big. And it was without a doubt about that boyfriend of his. David.
He pulled up to the school in his blue Honda. As he put the car in park, he started thinking about why Kurt even liked that Karofsky guy. From what he’d heard, David had bullied him for years. Blaine found it hard to believe that he had a sudden change of heart. He could, however, definitely see why Karofsky was into Kurt. He was the picture of perfection.
“ANDERSON!” Blaine jumped and turned to see Coach Sylvester at his window. He rolled it down, thinking he was in trouble. “I’ve been trying to get your attention for five minutes! What were you thinking about?”
Blaine turned and started gathering his books on the passenger seat. “Nothing. Nothing-I….just, nothing.”
She knew he was lying, but decided to let it go. “Whatever. How did the tutoring go on Friday?”
“The wha-…Oh! It went really well. He caught on fast. It shouldn’t take long to get his grade up.”
“Good. Keep up the good work.” She walked away, leaving Blaine alone in his car. He gathered his stuff and got out, thinking of Kurt as he walked into the school. As he walked in the door, he was suddenly slammed into a locker. He looked up to see Karofsky staring back at him, laughing as he walked away with his friends, and Kurt, by his side. He bent over to pick up his books, hoping that Kurt would say something, but he doubted it. Kurt simply looked down and walked away with the rest.
The rest of the day went as it usually did. The few times he saw Kurt in the hall, he tried to smile and him or wave, but Kurt ignored him every time. Yet he still tried, hoping by chance Kurt would acknowledge him. Friday couldn’t come fast enough.

This was awesome. I can't wait to see what happens next and to see how Blaine figures out what is happening with Kurt.
