Blaine's first day was different to Kurt's. When he woke up, he was super excited and he got dressed really early, he went down to breakfast and barely anyone was there. Not even Kurt. So he must've been early. He sat down there until lesson started, then he tried to find his way there. Admittedly, he did get a little lost but but he managed to get to class on time. He stood outside his History of Magic classroom, pretty excited because he had heard that he would be taught by a ghost! What he didn't know was that the teacher was super boring. Through the entire lesson, Professor Binns droned and put the majority of the class to sleep. Blaine could only just stay awake through the whole lesson. He mostly thought about the adventures he'd have with Kurt while at the school. He had never met anyone like Kurt, he as really cool and he had such pretty eyes. Wait, did he just think that? Why the hell would he think about Kurt's eyes like that. Nope, just forget it and focus on what the deathly boring ghost is talking about.

When the lesson was over, he was walking by himself when a group of people surrounded him. He was started at first but then realised that it was some Hufflepuff's and some Ravenclaw's, but Kurt wasn't there. It saddened him but the people he was with seemed nice.
"I just had Herbology with Professor Sprout. She's so nice!" A blond haired girl said.
"Really Quinn?" Finn said. "Anyone cool in that class?"
"I didn't speak to many people to be honest, there's this horrible girl called Rachel Berry who was mean to this Ravenclaw kid. What was his name again? I can't remember. I know it, i do!" Quinn said as she racked her brain for name.
Blaine was worried that she was talking about Kurt, he really didn't want her to be talking about him. The thought of someone being mean to him made him angry.
"Oh that's it! His name is Kurt. He is so sweet and he has such pretty eyes." Quinn told him.
"Kurt's my best friend." Blaine told them.
"Oh really? I thought he didn't have any friends because he's always on his own." Brittany said.
"He tries to make friends but people are horrible to him. He is the loveliest person ever though."
"Where is he then?" Finn asked.
"I don't know. He was just in Quinn's class, did you see him at all after class?" Blaine asked, looking directly at Quinn, completely unaware of what was happening to Kurt a little bit away.
"Nope, he just sped off."

Blaine went to find Kurt, he didn't know where he'd be and he didn't have very long to look for him since he needed to go to his next lesson. He didn't know if Kurt was going to be in that class or not, but either way he'd find him at some point. When he couldn't find him, he went to his classroom and saw that it was currently empty, except for one person. Kurt.
"Hey there." Blaine smiled and sat down beside him.
"How's your first day of classes going?"
"Well History of Magic is boring, bewwaaareeeee!" Blaine chuckled as he shuffled closer to Kurt.
Kurt smiled a little. "I had Herbology, it was quite cool actually."
"Even with the Berry girl being mean to you?"
"How did you know about that?"
"Quinn told me, you know, that blonde girl in your class."
"Yeah i know. She was nice to me." Kurt said. "I'm used to people being mean to me, seriously, don't worry about it."
"People shouldn't be mean to you." Blaine told him.
"Let's not worry about me. We've got some totally awesome classes to get through." Kurt smiled.
Professor Flitwick entered the class, he was much smaller than Blaine thought. He handed Blaine a note, that was apparently from Professor Sprout and it explained that he was being moved into another Herbology class, which was the same one as Kurt's! His time table matched Kurt's exactly, that made him really happy and he could tell from Kurt's face that he was happy too. This class was mostly Flitwick talking about what spells they would be learning. Blaine turned and looked at Kurt, watching as his face lit up and looked really fascinated. Blaine was excited to be learning the Levitation spell and the spell that makes wands light up. Blaine wanted to learn spells, he wasn't too worried about the theory parts. He was more practical. He noticed Kurt had a pile of parchment and a lot of them had writing on.
"What's that?" Blaine whispered.
"Notes." Kurt whispered back.
"It's the first day, you've made that many notes already?"
"Yes. Got a problem with that?"
"No, it's just a bit..."
"Nerdy?"
"I don't know what the word is but it isn't nerdy. I don't think you're a nerd, you're super smart. You know loads about things that i don't know and you're from a muggle family." Blaine said, unaware that a group of nearby Slytherin's heard him.
"Girly's a mudblood!" They laughed and threw rolled up parchment when Flitwick wasn't looking.
"Hey!" Blaine snapped and threw it back. "Leave him alone!"
"What's a mudblood?" Kurt whispered to him.
"It's a really horrible name for people who come from non wizard families."
"But i'm not from a non-wizard family."
"You're not?"
"No, i told you that my mother went here."
"Oh damn. I forgot. I'm sorry." Blaine said.
"Never mind." Kurt sighed and continued writing. The amount of pages Kurt had was surprising. Flitwick didn't even talk that much but Kurt still managed to make pages of notes. Blaine looked at his own parchment and saw that there was no notes at all. Thankfully, there was no test coming up soon. He knew that there was a possibility of needing to borrow Kurt's notes to study. They could be study buddies, they would be awesome. They could help each other. Blaine could look after Kurt and Kurt could help him study.
