As soon as Blaine left Kurt and got into the car, he immediately wished he was back with his friend. His dad was asking him so many questions about school and how he was disappointed in him for not being in Ravenclaw. He thought those comments were bad, he didn't realise how much worse they wold get.
"I don't understand how you couldn't be in Ravenclaw. You're supposed to be a smart boy and all the Anderson men have been in Ravenclaw. Even that fairy friend of yours is in Ravenclaw. Are you that useless that you can't get into one simple bloody house?" His father shouted as they drove. Blaine was about to speak when his father shouted again. "Speaking of that fairy friend of yours, i don't want you socialising with him anymore. I don't want him to rub off on you. It's bad enough having a Hufflepuff son, i don't want him to be a fairy too."
"He's not a fairy!" Blaine shouted before he could stop himself.
"Are you shouting at me boy?" His father shouted louder. "How dare you shout at me!"
"I'm sorry!" Blaine said. "I just wanted to say that Kurt isn't a fairy. He's the most amazing person i've ever met and he's so nice. He's really smart."
"Unlike you, if you were smart, you'd stay away from him."
But Blaine didn't want to stay away from Kurt. They were best friends and he was drawn to Kurt. He didn't understand it but there was this pull, pulling him towards Kurt. Kurt made him really happy and when they weren't together, he wished they were. Maybe that's just a best friend thing. Blaine hadn't had loads of friends in the past because his dad didn't want him to socialise with muggles. Blaine was friends with wizard children only. Kurt interested him, not just because of his muggle background but because he was just an interesting person. He also had really amazing eyes. He mentally had a go at himself for thinking that.

Blaine went Christmas shopping with his mother, he was really excited about getting Kurt's presents. He knew that all Kurt knew was muggle things and if Blaine could find the most amazing Christmas presents for Kurt, he'd be so happy. He was looking forward to getting muggle presents from Kurt, he was a bit too excited about it. They were walking round the shops looking for things when Blaine stopped. He turned his head and gasped at the most amazing white scarf ever. It was absolutely beautiful and it was so soft. He held it in his hands and imagined Kurt with this around his neck and his eyes shining. Yes. He must buy this scarf. Blaine then finished his shopping getting Kurt more than he had planned to, he also got things for his other friends but he got a lot of things for Kurt. That evening he sat down and wrote Kurt's letter.

Blaine was in his room when he got called by his mother. He ran downstairs and saw a big box on the table and he immediately got excited. Behind it was several smaller boxes but he knew by the wrapping of the big one that it was from Kurt. He walked over to it and took one of the two letters from the top. He knew which one was the Christmas letter and which one wasn't. He left behind the Christmas one and opened the other one.
Dear Blaine,
It feels weird being back home, i grew too used to being at Hogwarts. I miss it terribly though, i know its strange since it's school but it's like a second home to me. A home with you there. I miss hanging out with you. Let me know what dates you are available because i'm free whenever pretty much. Dad doesn't really have anything planned for this Christmas. He's going to be working a lot of the time anyway. It might be just to get away from me but i'm hoping not.....

The letter went on for a little longer and Blaine was happy just to get a letter from his best friend. He put it in his drawer where he kept his important things before going back to whatever it was he was doing.

It was Christmas morning and Blaine woke up in a really good mood, it was today that he would get to open all his friends and get to see the awesome muggle things that Kurt got him. But as much as he wanted to just run downstairs and begin opening his presents, his parents had an order. They would wake up at 9am and have breakfast and sort themselves out then at 10am they would open presents. When it was 10am, Blaine was the first one to grab his parents and begin opening them. He left the one from Kurt until last. Blaine mostly got books and things from his parents and his brother didn't get him anyway. Surprise surprise (!) His friends got him some pretty cool things, he got a Remembrall and some stuff from Gambol and Japes, Zonko's Joke Shop and Honeydukes Sweetshop. He then tore open Kurt's package and he got some very interesting stuff. There was a mix tape in there and this weird machine that the tape seemed to go into so the tape can be played. There were lots of other muggle things inside, like books and muggle wizard stuff. Inside there was a muggle camera. Blaine found it interesting how the pictures didn't move. It was really cool and Blaine found everything fascinating. He sat in his room for the rest of the day, reading about how muggles pictured wizards and witches and what kind of ridiculous spells did what. That evening, Blaine wrote a letter back to Kurt and told him how much he loved the presents he got.

Later that evening, Blaine and his family sat around the table and had dinner. He had family over, so his aunts and uncles and grandparents but Cooper never showed up. Not that Blaine was at all surprised. His mother once again claimed he was busy but Blaine knew otherwise.
"So Blaine, we hear you're in Hogwarts now." His Grandfather said.
"Yes I am." Blaine answered.
"It is disappointing to hear that you're not in Ravenclaw." He replied.
Once again, Blaine was made to feel like crap. "I wanted to be."
"Why aren't you then? Are you not smart enough? Are you a dumbass?"
"Richard!" Blaine's grandmother hissed at her husband.
"No sir, i am not a dumbass."
"Every Anderson man has been in Ravenclaw, your brother was in Ravenclaw. So why aren't you?"
"Excuse me." Blaine said before getting up and going to his room. He spent the evening, reading books and listening to the music that Kurt sent him. Just wishing that he could go back to Hogwarts already.
