Author's Notes: This is a new fic i'm writing based on Harry Potter, i came up with the idea today. I hope you all enjoy it! Kurt will not be in Slytherin, i have absolutely no idea why people put him in it
Blaine Anderson always knew that he wasn't an ordinary boy, even when he was little. He could do things no other child his age could do, like one time he accidentally burst a pillow and feathers flew all round the room. His mother thought it was a beautiful sight but his father was less than happy about his son performing magic at such a young age. You see, some people don't show their magical abilities until they're older, like Mr. Anderson. Blaine was very young when his came through which was only more difficult for him because the other children couldn't do it. He couldn't show the other children. Both of Blaine's parents were magical, they were both half bloods and both went to Hogwarts.

Hogwarts was a very famous school for wizards and witches, to train them up and get them out into the world to make it better. The Headmaster of the school, Professor Albus Dumbledore, was the greatest wizard that had been seen in centuries and Blaine was excited to meet him. Blaine's father was Ravenclaw and Blaine's mother was a Hufflepuff, his older brother had been at the school too and he had been in Ravenclaw. Cooper was older than Blaine so he wasn't there anymore. Blaine didn't know what house he wanted to be in, all he knew was that he definitely didn't want to be in Slytherin.

It was just an normal day, well normal for wizards, when the post arrived. The Anderson's owl Pippin came flying to the window, tapping at it and waiting for someone to answer. Mrs. Anderson got up off the sofa and went to get the owl. She opened the window and let him in, stroking him as she got the letters.
"A letter for you." She said to her husband. "A letter to me, a letter for you, a letter for..." Mrs. Anderson raised her head and beamed at her youngest son. "Blaine Anderson."
Blaine looked at his mother with the widest smile. He had never received a letter in his life, he had got birthday cards in the post but never a letter. He got up and sprinted across to his mother, practically snatching the letter from her hands. He took a second to run his fingers over the envelope, the writing was green and fancy writing. After examining the letter, going over the envelope several times, he decided to open it. He was about to when he looked up to see his parents staring at me.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Open it!" His father said.
Blaine did as his father said, he opened it and held the letter in his hands, his hands were shaking. He read over it:
"Dear Mr. Anderson,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.
Yours Sincerely,
Minerva McGonagall
Deputy Headmistress"
Blaine read over it three times so it could sink in, he couldn't believe it. He was going to Hogwarts! He was so excited.
"I'm so proud of you!" His mother squealed as she hugged him. "Our baby boy is going to Hogwarts!"

Blaine was so excited about visiting Diagon Alley, he could start getting the things that the bigger kids could. Well not a broomstick, although he desperately wanted one. He wanted to be on the Quidditch team but he had to wait, but he would get there. He would stare into the window at the Nimbus 2000 and dream about what it would be like to fly one. Cooper had one and he would fly on it around the garden. Blaine was so jealous. He did try to fly it once but his mother caught him and he got grounded for a week. His mother had to drag him away from the broomsticks and into another shop.
"Right honey, what do you need?" She asked him.
He was about to answer when he spotted someone. He paused and watched him. He was very beautiful, Blaine thought. His eyes were bright and they looked at Blaine. His smile was gorgeous, Blaine found when the boy smiled at him. Blaine smiled back at him.
"Blaine?" His mother snapped Blaine back into focus. "What do you need?"
Blaine looked at his letter, reading over what he needed. "First-year students will require: Three sets of plain work robes that are black, one plain pointed hat also black, for day wear, one pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar) and one winter cloak that is black, with silver fastenings. All my clothes need name tags."
Blaine looked up at his mother who nodded when he had finished speaking. She led him out of that shop and down to Madam Malkin's.
"Hello dear!" Malkin said when Blaine entered her shop. "I assume Hogwarts, am i correct?"
"You are correct." Mrs. Anderson answered. "This is my son Blaine Anderson, he is after robes to be fitted."
"Right this way, we've literally just had another child in so you will be with him. Maybe you'll make a new friend." Malkin said as she led the way, unaware that she was right.
Blaine stopped when he got into the room, there was the boy again. The beautiful boy with chestnut hair and the beautiful smile. He seemed to be on his own but as soon as the boys eyes met Blaine's, they twinkled. Malkin led Blaine to a stool and helped him on it. She got an assistant over to come and get Blaine measured. He took this opportunity to talk to the boy.
"Hi." Blaine smiled.
"Hey." The boy answered, his voice was high and sweet.
"I'm Blaine." He went to hold out his arm but it was tapped back by the assistant trying to measure him.
"Kurt." The boy replied. "Hogwarts?"
"Yeah, you?"
"I'm hoping for Ravenclaw. How about you?"
"I really want to be a Ravenclaw too. My dad was one."
"Oh really? My dad is a muggle." Kurt replied.
"Oh. My mum was a Hufflepuff and my older brother was a Ravenclaw too. What about your mum?" Blaine asked.
"My mum was a Gryffindor, she was so brave and amazing." Kurt smiled a little, trying to fight back tears. Blaine had no idea why, he wanted to take his hand and squeeze it to make the boy feel better.
"Where's your dad?" Blaine asked.
"He's doing stuff."
They talked until their robes were done, they didn't really want to part at the end of it but they had to. They said goodbye and promised to meet up with each other at school.

Blaine and his mother got the rest of the things they needed for school, all of the course books (which Blaine offered to carry, only to regret it later when his arms hurt like crazy) and they had got the cauldron (Blaine wanted a huge gold one but his mother said no). They also got glass phials, a telescope and a set of brass scales. Just two more things to get. A wand and a pet. These were what Blaine was most excited about. They entered Ollivanders and Blaine ran to the desk. Mr. Ollivander turned round and smiled at Blaine. He was old, pale eyed with white hair. He seemed like a kind man.
"Greetings young man, your first wand?"
Blaine nodded eagerly. Mr. Ollivander got out a wand and gave it to Blaine. After a few wands, something magical happened.
"10 and three quarter inches, rowan wood, unicorn core and slightly yielding. Very nice." Ollivander said.

Blaine was so excited now, he was getting his pet. Since his family already owned an owl, he didn't really need one and the school had some too. He wanted a cat, he had one in mind. He wanted a cute little black and white one, if they had one. That was when he spotted him, the adorable tiny kitten curled up in a ball. He was white with bits of black over him, there was black over his face which made it look like he was wearing a mask.
"Mum, i want him." Blaine smiled, pointing to the little cat.
They bought the cat and Blaine cuddled him while they walked. He was so adorable and tiny and precious.
"What are you going to name him?" His mother asked.
"Bandit." Blaine kissed the kittens head. "His name is Bandit."

The day had been long for Blaine Anderson, he went to Diagon Alley and got everything he needed for school and he met a beautiful boy named Kurt. He couldn't wait to get to Hogwarts and have adventures with Kurt. Hogwarts was going to be amazing, he just knew it.
