Weeks had gone by and Daniel and Blaine were growing closer, Kurt was cut off a little from everyone else but had plucked up the courage to step outside his room. It was late and in Blaine’s room, Daniel and Blaine were lying on the bed together, looking at each other and smiling. Daniel’s mind had been conflicted about what Oliver had said those weeks ago, he kept his eye out for anything that could prove or disprove what he had said. So far he hadn’t had many suspicions. He leaned in and kissed his boyfriends lips deeply, Blaine reciprocating the kiss. Things started to get heated as Daniel climbed on top of Blaine and their kisses deepened and became more hot quickly. Daniels hips were grinding down against Blaine’s, listening to the soft moan of the boy under him. But Blaine’s kisses were slowing before suddenly stopping.
“What’s wrong?” Daniel asked looking down at his boyfriend with concern.
“Do you think Kurt’s okay?” Blaine asked. “I mean he seems it but...”
“He’s fine.” Daniel replied before moving back into kiss Blaine but was stopped again.
“Just because he seems it doesn’t mean he is, he’s very good at putting on a good front. He seems quieter than usual.”
“Well maybe because his naked body was sent round the school that might be a hint.” Daniel snapped.
“What’s wrong with you?”
“Maybe the fact that you’d rather talk about Kurt than kiss me, Kurt is all you ever want to talk about.”
“No he’s not.”
“Yes Blaine he is, you’re with him more than you are me, you’d rather talk about him than kiss me, when you’re with me you’re not all there, I’m starting to think people are right.”
“What?”
“You love Kurt don’t you?”
“Wh-” Blaine wasn’t expecting that, no he didn’t love Kurt, he liked Daniel, he wasn’t sure whether that was love yet but he really did like him. “No!”
“Yes you do Blaine, you just don’t realise it. Open your eyes and then decide which one of us you actually want.” Daniel got off Blaine and went to put his shoes on.
“What do you mean? And where are you going?”
“It seems you are confused about which one of us you want, so I’m going to give you space to decide. And to answer your second question, I’m going back to my room.”
“Don’t go, please.” Blaine put his hand on Daniel’s shoulder. “Please.”
“I’m sorry Blaine.” Daniel stood up and headed towards the door. “I’ll see you round.”

Daniel leaned his head against the door after he closed it, Oliver was right. He had kept an eye on Kurt and Blaine for a few weeks now and noticed just how close they actually were and he felt threatened by Kurt. He had begun snapping at Kurt and trying to block him out of conversations and keeping Blaine to himself, he didn’t dislike Kurt he was just angry.
“Daniel?”
He snapped out of it and looked at the place where the voice was coming from, it was Kurt. Great. The last person he wanted to see.
“What?” He snapped.
“Are you okay?”
“Yes, why wouldn’t I be?” He snapped again, pushing himself off the door and walking away from it, leaving a very confused and concerned Kurt behind. He stood at the corner and turned to watch Kurt hug Blaine and enter his room. He didn’t stand a chance if Blaine did actually like Kurt, if Blaine liked both of them and he had to choose it would be Kurt every single time which broke Daniel’s heart. He knew that people couldn’t help who they fell for but it didn’t stop it from hurting.

“Daniel seemed upset.” Kurt said as he sat down at the end of Blaine’s bed.
“I know, I, pardon my language, fucked up.”
“What happened?” Kurt asked genuinely concerned, both Blaine and Daniel were upset and they were both his friends.
“He thinks I have feelings for someone else.” Blaine said looking down at his hands in his lap.
“And do you...” Kurt started, not taking his eyes off of Blaine. “Have feelings for someone else?”
“I don’t know, maybe.” Blaine admitted.
“Who might you have feelings for?” Kurt was incredibly curious, secretly hoping that it was him.
“Er...” Blaine couldn’t tell Kurt that it might be him and get his hopes up only for them to be destroyed if Blaine didn’t actually like him like that, he decided to say the first other name that popped into his head. “Oliver.”
Kurt’s heart sunk. “I see, Oliver is a nice guy, so is Daniel.”
“Yeah they are.” Blaine could see that Kurt was upset and felt bad. “I don’t know though, Daniel thinks i talk too much about him.”
Kurt shrugged, he hadn’t noticed honestly and he didn’t like it, he was feeling jealous. Why would Blaine like everyone but him? Was he really that unattractive?
“I haven’t noticed honestly.” Kurt told Blaine, he fiddled with the broach on his blazer.
Blaine shuffled closer to Kurt; he noticed that he had gone a little quiet, had he upset him?
“Are you okay?” He asked putting a finger on Kurt’s chin to lift it so they were looking into each others eyes. There was a spark and their eyes locked.
“I’m... I’m fine, more than fine.” Kurt said quietly, almost breathlessly as he swallowed hard. Both he and Blaine slowly leaning into each other, eyes fluttering shut and their lips just an inch away, they could feel the others breaths on their lips. They were just about to touch when the door knocked and they bounced back.
“Come in!” Blaine called out; he was so flustered and avoiding eye contact with Kurt who was exactly the same.
“Hey guys, do you wan... is everything okay?” Wes asked after opening the door and looking at both a flustered Kurt and Blaine.
“Yeah, everything’s fine.” Blaine said quickly.
Kurt stood up and walked out of the room, Blaine was tempted to go after him but wasn’t sure what would happen if he did.
“Is he okay?” Wes asked watching as Kurt left the room.
“Yeah he’s fine, just having a few problems but he’ll be fine.” Blaine lied, there was this feeling inside of him that he’d felt so faintly around Kurt before but now it was beating so fast. Maybe... maybe he did have feelings for Kurt.
