“Oh god.” Mrs. Anderson gasped. Her eyes widened as she realised what this looked like. Blaine had run away.
Mrs. Anderson ran down the stairs and was about to pull open the front door when she noticed someone walking around the living room. She walked into the room and saw her husband nursing a bottle of whiskey.
“Where’s Blaine?” She asked, noticing he was drunk.
“Moved in with the fairy.” Mr. Anderson slurred.
“Excuse me?!” Mrs. Anderson screeched. “What do you mean he moved in with Kurt?”
“He’s gone! I caught them being disgusting so he left.”
“What do you mean by “being disgusting”? Do you mean having sex?”
Mr. Anderson shuddered before drinking a lot. “Yes. Blaine’s fingers were in... He and the Fairy... I felt sick. I told the Fairy to leave but neither of them would have it, so Fairy told Blaine to pack up his things and go home with him. He took Blaine and went.”
Mrs. Anderson snatched the bottle from her husband, completely shocked at everything that had happened. “Tomorrow, you will go and get our son back.”
Blaine was snuggled up against Kurt’s chest, he had finished crying and now he didn’t know how to feel. Kurt was helping him so much and so was the family. Burt had let him stay there for as long as he needed, for good if it came to it.
“Thank you.” Blaine said looking up at his gorgeous boyfriend who hadn’t taken his eyes off of him.
“You’re welcome. I’m so sorry about everything.”
“You don’t need to apologise, it’s not your fault. My dad has never accepted me and when I came out, he beat me. Whenever I mention that i’m gay or anything like that, he would beat me to knock me out of it or make it clear that I can’t mention it. I’m happy with who I am because if i wasn’t gay then I wouldn’t have you and having you is what makes me happy.” Blaine kissed Kurt’s chest and snuggled closer.
“I’m sorry for taking you away from your family.” Kurt said quietly, overwhelmed by the guilt he was feeling.
“Why are you sorry? You knew what he was going to do to me without me telling you, you saved me. Baby, the reason i’m safe is because of you and yes i left my family, but my other family is right here. You, Burt, Carole and Finn are also my family, especially you.” Blaine smiled a little, leaning up to kiss Kurt softly. “Thank you for being my hero.”
“And thank you for being mine.”
The next morning, Kurt and Blaine woke up and smiled at each other, just remembering that they were together. Blaine hadn’t left Kurt’s chest or his arms at all that night and he slept soundly there, knowing that he was safe.
“Hi sweetie.” Kurt grinned down at Blaine before getting his morning kiss.
“Morning, you are such a comfy pillow, did you know that?”
“I am? Well it must be my chest, I got implants so it adds extra comfort.” Kurt teased.
“Well I love them.” Blaine grinned, kissing each side of Kurt’s chest.
“Right, let’s get up.” Kurt said, trying to push Blaine off.
“Nooooooooooooooooo!” Blaine clung to Kurt, burying his face in his chest. “We stay!”
“But breakfast, I’m hungry and we still have all your healthy rabbit food here so come on, get up lazy.” Kurt laughed.
“Lazy?!” Blaine gasped as if he was offended. “How dare you, Mr. Hummel? I am far from lazy; in fact I am one of the least lazy people you know.”
“Oh really?”
“Yes really.” And Blaine closed in the space between his and Kurt’s lips.
“Boys! Breakfast!” They heard Carole shouting up the stairs, making them break apart and slide out of bed. Kurt gave Blaine a spare robe as he put it on and then put on his own. They walked downstairs and sat down next to each other at the dining table.
“How are you today?” Carole asked as she placed a bowl of Blaine’s healthy cereal in front of him.
“I’m okay. Kurt has been amazing, he’s been helping me and I feel much better. I should’ve seen all this coming, he has always been very anti-gay and being with Kurt at my house, we should’ve been more careful. As soon as he came into the room and told Kurt to go home, I knew things were going to go badly when he came into the room. I’m glad that I’m away from that house, sure i’ll miss my mum but I can still see her. It’s not like I’ve lost her forever, hopefully. This was for the best.” Blaine put on a brave smile as he tucked into his breakfast.
“You can stay with us as long as you like Blaine. We love you and you’re like family to us. We set up the spare room for you and if you wish to redecorate then you can.” Carole smiled and began eating.
They were all happily eating when there was a loud bang at the door, making them jump and look round. Kurt noticed a terrified look on his face.
