Kurt Hummel was blind. He was blinded by Sebastian Smythe because he wanted him out of the way so he could have his boyfriend. But that didn’t work out too well for Sebastian because Blaine now hated him so much. Thanks to Kurt’s beautiful boyfriend, he had new things to help him with his new life. He had started to learn to read again, tracing his fingers over the letters and remembering their shapes. It took longer to read things than it used to but sneakily, when he was supposed to be reading after getting homework from his home tutor, he’d get Blaine to read to him. He had to have a home tutor because he didn’t want to go to school blind, people would stare and whisper and point. Although Kurt couldn’t see that, he knew it would happen.

There was a knock at the door one morning, Kurt thought it was his tutor but his tutor had a key. He picked up his special cane, that he used to find things in front of him, and went to the door. He opened it and waited for the person on the other side to speak.
“Hello Kurt.” The voice said.
“Who? I’m sorry. I can’t see you. I’m blind. So can you tell me who you are?” He asked, holding onto the door.
“It’s Oliver. Remember me?” Kurt now remembered where the British voice came from. Oliver, the guy from Dalton the previous year. The guy who was going to beat him up before the guys from McKinley did it. His hands were shaking and he was panicking. He had no idea what to do.
“What do you want? Come to start what you never got to last time?”
Oliver laughed and stepped inside the Hudmel household, pushing Kurt against the wall and practically spitting in his face. “Do you have any idea where I’ve been? My dad moved me back to England. He sent me to a school for religious freaks because he heard what I was going to do to you. He said if I was good for a year then i could come back. I managed less than a year before my father got bored in England. And now I’m back and you’re blind. So now, I can quite literally take Blaine from you and you won’t even be able to see it. I’m jealous of that Warbler who did that to you because I would have loved to have done it myself.”
And then Kurt was released and the house was empty. Oliver was gone and Kurt was panicking and shaking. He was terrified. He felt around for his special phone that was in his pocket, getting it out and calling Blaine.

Blaine hadn’t transferred to McKinley yet, he still had to discuss it with his parents and he was only going to go when Kurt was back at school. He was currently at school in the middle of an Algebra lesson when he heard a vibrate in his pocket. He saw it was a text from Kurt and smiled but it dropped when he read it.
“I need you so much right now. I’m scared.” It said. Kurt wouldn’t text him things like that unless he really meant it. Now he just had to get out of there.
He looked over at Jeff who was looking at him worried; he slipped his phone to Jeff who looked back at him with a worried face. Jeff mouthed one word to him which would help him get out of the class. Faint. Blaine was a good actor so when he pretended to faint, it looked realistic. Everyone turned to the back of the room with gasps. The teacher ran over to Blaine as Jeff stood up.
“I’ll take him to the nurse.” Jeff tapped Blaine’s face until his eyes came open, he picked him up and put an arm around his shoulder so he could carry him.
Once they were out of the classroom, Blaine ran for it while Jeff snuck into the nurses office, who luckily wasn’t there, and hacked it. He put on the database that Blaine had been sent home because of sickness.

Blaine sped to Kurt’s house, extremely worried about his boyfriend and what could have happened to him. All he knew was that Kurt was scared and needed him, he didn’t know anything else. He saw that the door was open and panicked. Why would Kurt leave the door open? He ran inside and saw Kurt curled up in a ball on the floor.
“Baby? Kurt, what happened?” Blaine asked, crouching down in front of his terrified boyfriend and started stroking him.
“Oliver. Oliver came back and he came here. He told me he was going to take you from me and how he was jealous that Sebastian blinded me because he wanted to do it himself.” Kurt told him.
“Oh baby.” Blaine scooped him up into his arms and carried him to the couch, sitting down on it with Kurt in his lap. “I am not going anywhere. I promise. If I did, it certainly wouldn’t be with Oliver. As cute as British accents are, he is far from adorable or sexy or talented. All three are what you are. I love you, Kurt Hummel. I love you so much.” He kissed the top of Kurt’s head and held him close.
“I love you too. I love you so much. I’m sorry to bring you here. I panicked when I heard him and I thought he was going to hurt me because that’s what he wanted to do last time. I’m sorry for dragging you here. Wait, aren’t you going to get into trouble?”
“Jeff got me here. He told me to faint, so I did and he carried me out of the classroom. He went into the nurses office and put on the system that I got sent home. He really is an awesome friend.” Blaine smiled.
“He is. Thank you for coming.” Kurt smiled and kissed Blaine’s cheek.
“Any time, my love. You know that. You call and I come running.” He held Kurt closer, loving the feel of his boyfriend in his arms.
